Now this is really weird!!!! Note: The new Pope is Francis and resides at the Vatican in Rome, on the Tiber River.

The History of Washington DC., District of Columbia

In 1669 "a parcell of land. . .called Rome. . .was layd out of Francis Pope. . .extending to the south of an inlet called Tiber"; this gentleman, "Pope of Rome on the Tiber", was sheriff of Charles County, and, in all probability, a Catholic. The faithful depended for spiritual aid on the Jesuit Fathers from White Marsh, Prince George's County, or St. Thomas' Manor, Charles County. Stations were visited and Mass was celebrated in private houses, a room being set aside for the purpose, the neighbours being invited. An interesting collection of vestments, altar furnishings, chalices etc., relics of those stations and memorials of the old Jesuit missions, is preserved in the museum of Georgetown College.

Horn also shared an intriguing revelation about his brother-in-law, who worked on a top secret project at Los Alamos Lab. One night, under the influence of alcohol, he told his family that the Lab was involved in the 'alien agenda.' After this incident, he disappeared, and was never heard from again.

Hi SilentFeathers,
this is an eye opening thread. I didn´t know anything about Mauro Biglino for example.

There is one thing that puzzles me. It is the mention of Operation Condor as the name of dirty war that ran in Argentina in the 70s. The Condor was a missile that was being built in Cordoba disguised as a project to create a satellite, if I get it right. CIA came in and destroyed everything, including the researchers´ notes. It caused outrage among the public at the time, the researchers were beyond pissed. This was in the 80s. Before this, all the developments in nuclear energy that were carried on in Bariloche were shut down.

It is interesting that these two projects share the name. In my research about the dirty war (I´m from Argentina, born in the early 70s. I was there.) many things puzzled me, especially how the military torturers learned the job--it is not an easy job, and why the heads of the montos were all alive. The trail took me to the project MK Ultra.

Anyway... going back to the subject of this thread. One thing that will stay with me forever was Bergoglio´s face when he first went out in the balcony as pope, he seemed not happy at all. People who knew him said that he looked scared, and that he definite didn´t want the job. He repeated again and again: "please pray for me" to the people. That sounded so odd, even for him who´s life is based in humility.

I think he knew he had a big mess between hands that would take all his faith and lots of prayers to survive. He is a good guy as far as I know.

It reminds me of all of us somehow. The lil David against Goliath fight. There is no place to hide, there is no place to run. We just need to be ready to do the right thing in spite of the personal cost.

I'm not so sure benedict isn't still pulling some strings (no pun intended). I almost believe that there are actually 2 Popes right now. Francis may be somewhat of a fill-in; the Pope to the rescue as far as church policies are concerned. RE: Francis is a jesuit....when the going gets tough, the tough send in a representative to usher in new policies and cover up and or distract from old actions and policies etc.

Francis was probably briefed before becoming Pope of what was in store, such as ushering in gay rights, aliens, and covering up sexual abuses and banking corruption etc etc etc.....hence the look he had standing at that balcony on the "great day". He will likely go down in history as the great transformer/reformer.

The Catholic church/Vatican right now is going through the largest changes in its history lately, it doesn't surprise me that the church/vatican has a jesuit as a representative right now.

When Francis publically kept saying "please pray for me", perhaps he knew his fate on that day, knowing he was needed to "sin" for the best interest of the church.......

Yes, Francis is a franciscan, and that is important in this puzzle. I heard an interview to a guy one time that said that those who really control the world beyond the un-illuminated ones, have a Franciscan at their head--I wish I remembered where I saw that, it was before Bergoglio became pope.

There is one thing that always puzzles with regards of the connection between catholic church and child abuse.

Catholicism is the main religion in South America, and over here the priests are usually just regular people in service to others. Yes, there are some cases of guys doing things wrong, but you get a lot more working for the people were the politicians or the police don´t get in, and many end up dead because of that.

US and UK are different animals... it looks like the cases of child abuse are way in disproportion with the amount of priests and Catholics. But there are also tons of cases of abuse by teachers, family members, etc.

The numbers just don´t add up, unless the connection is made through the culture and not the religion. In South America child abuse is not so rooted in the culture so far. But if this is true, then the identification of Catholicism with child abuse is a long lasting very well organized propaganda campaign. Hum... do I have to duck and run? I hope not...

I'm sure some of it is propaganda, but looking back through history the church's actions has been far from being righteous and spiritually correct. IMO they've soaked almost every corner of Earth with the blood of the innocent and those they didn't out right slaughter (usually through morbid means) have been only kept alive through submission, and by being obedient and unthreatening little slaves.

Now, through the illusion of evolution and progress and that we as humans have become "civilized" and beyond stretching people to death or publically burning them at the stake, the sacrifice has taken on a new face. The church wears a mask as many other religions do.....where is the outrage from the Vatican against the destruction of the creation/nature and the senseless killings across the globe all in the name of peace and progress?????

Now we have a Pope welcoming gay rights and aliens, turning a blind eye to all kinds of abuse and global economic and cultural corruption, a pope not on a string but chained to the darkness that has infected and corrupted the 4 corners of earth, even the 4 winds......nothing is new under the sun so to speak, this has been going on forever.....

Representing GOD??????? I think not......behind the mask is beyond comprehension to most.

I grew up Catholic and what a change I had to go through over the three score plus years till now. Actually, I left the Church/started questioning when I WAS 23 YRS old.
Recently I have gotten to find out many 'bad' things about the Vatican and Popes that are hard to believe, but I now know are true.

Deception of the people in the grossest manner is what they have been about. Thank God I learned these things. I have to bite my tongue, so to speak, so as to not rant and rail scary truths about them.

But I don't want to offend others including some of my friends.

I agree with you. Religion has been used in the past (and it is probably still going) in a similar way science is attempted to be used in the present. You take a natural need of mankind (to connect the dots behind what we see) and claim ownership over the explanation by all means necessary.

Then you use the models of reality you created to enslave the minds, the hearts and the souls of people.

They used to send priests to the zones to be dominated by the Roman empire to undermine the local cultures and destroy their spirit before bringing in the army. Now they plague the places with fast food courts--it is way more efficient.

About the pope... I have no intention of becoming an advocate. I don´t like the church, and specially the rituals (I have personal issues with the priest biting down in the body of Christ and drinking his blood *shivers*). But he IS talking against greed and war. I´m not sure how much he can do before they take him down, but I think he will try. He is a somewhat political guy with a lot of experience under the belt. When the two priests disappeared in the 70s, he tried to recover them, but ultimately they never came back alive, and he didn´t go to bomb any military base because of that. When the Kirchner started to mess up big time, he said it, and there was media war all around. But when Cristina bit the bullet and asked to see him after being pope, he received her with a smile.
