Default Reincarnation - a fundamental truth?

Hi all, there's something I want to share. Not sure if this has been here before, but if it has, here it is again.

For many years now I've been interested in the scientific part of life after death (like NDEs, past life regression etc), things and stories we can compare and study.
So, I was curious and googled past life regression, and I ended up trying this:

Here's what wikipedia has to say about Dr. Brian Weiss: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Weiss

Anyways, I tried it, had no expectations whatsoever, but I would like to share what I experienced. First you try and memorize a childhood memory, then your time in your mother's womb (felt very warm and calm). Then your birth. Now, I was born with a c-section, with the navel cord wrapped around my neck, and I literally felt it strangling me, which was a little scary. After that comes the past life memories (what I saw was I was a man living in the middle east somewhere around 400-500AD, saved a boy from drowning and from that gained an important life lesson). After that I got an OBE and "met" my higher self (or something similar). Spontaniously I asked "it" whether I was living my life the way I was supposed to, and here's something that moved me beyond description:
I felt warm, almost hot, and got an immidiate answer saying something like "You're on the right track. Just stay focused. You can't do anything wrong, ever. You are being loved." I felt so moved I started crying my eyes out and shaking in my bed, but it didn't feel bad at all. The message repeated a few times, and then Dr.Weiss called me back, and I woke up refreshed and moved, having had a profound and wonderful experience.

I can't of course say whether there is any truth to all of this or not, I can't be sure if I really experienced a past life memory, but the experience was real, and very interesting, to say the least. And now I feel absolutely great. Just wanted to share my experience and give you a chance to try it out. Peace!

ps. if you have had a near death experience, I would very much like to hear about it. Also, if you try this post your results!

Take, I'm seeing Dr. Weiss for the second time in February. I can't wait. It is always an experience.

Brian is very popular at Omega Institute, where I live half of the year. He always has packed seminars. I have inquired about his take on the simultaneity of time and was told he addresses that at some level.

When I did it years ago I got a pain in my nose. (My nose got stuck during the birth process).

I had a recurring dream when I was a child and before I went to school. I am standing in a yellow apartment. The apartment has 2 rooms and a hallway. The first room has old books and a table. Everything is made of wood. In the middle is a hallway with an old style telephone on the wall. The hallway leads to the living room where there is a big glass window. Looking out I can see a huge field of green grass and tall white buildings in the distance. Its very sunny outside. I start off in the living room and walk from there to the odd triangular shaped room with books. I am there when the telephone rings. I answer and a woman's voice asks if a particular woman is there. On hearing the woman's name, I become terrified. I wake up. I am terrified as long as I remember the woman's name.

I used to ask people what they thought that dream meant. Only a few years ago, a friend of mine who is quite brilliant said past life (room with books), present life ("living" room - get it?) and future (looking out the window at the tall buildings in the distance). I was surprised that I didn't figure that out myself.

I did all of that myself, over a period of about 18 months, and stayed in the 'multi-state' for those 18 months. What the alchemists, the consumers of the 'philosopher's stone', what they and the Buddhists call 'the sleepless state'.

That I was fully aware and connected, all done on my own, from scratch..for 18 months, with no sleep. I learned it from no one, I worked out the logic of it, and trode the path -on my own.

We each have that skill within us, I'd like to think. That one has to desire it badly enough, to take it all the way.

What immense connectivity. What energy. What vision. What peace. What..capacity. What..responsibility.

Not a moment, not an evening, but 18 months of it, 24-7, no sleep.

a couple weeks ago in church, a group of kids were asked if they knew what the resurrection was...

a little 4 year old boy raised his hand and said "I'm not sure, but if it last more than 4 hours you should call your doctor..."

Hi TAKE.... I have attempted mr Weiss' regression with absolute clarity. I recalled a joyous memory with a childhood friend ( my old dog saba) probably one of the few times I was happy as a kid. I remembered being in my mothers womb and I was rather sad ( for my mother ) I realised before I was birthed, that I was here more so to bring balance and happiness to my mum and dad. I knew my purpose and my intention was one of strength and conviction. I remember being born, I was not necessarily received with love...my mother was quite out of it on medication...I recall looking out for my dad. I felt more love for him than my Mother...weird???
My past life was in my last incarnation as a navajo. I got answers on who my partner was, why I was banished from my tribe, how I fell in love with the chiefs daughter and wasnt seen regal enough to have her hand... She loved me anyway. Because I was one of the prized warriors/ hunters, I often ventured away from home a lot. I would come back very possessive and accusing of my love. She was supposed to be courted and have children to a chosen member of the tribe... I was always very jealous of him ( I was insecure) I would accuse my love of cheating on me.....we eventually had a daughter. I was so protective that I began to push them away. I returned from a hunt and was enraged at something that had occurred.... I found the noble tribesman that I envied and beat him to an inch of his life.... My chief sentenced me to live a rite of passage....to live the rest of my days on my own...I was no longer welcome or allowed any where near my loved ones..... I was a fool and told them I didnt care... I was better off alone. I committed suicide almost 2 years later.... In a trance ( I became addicted to hallucinogens to find my higher self ) I saw a vision of the noble tribesman who had replaced me and my life... He bedded my wife and raised my daughter. I could not live knowing that I was hopeless and without love....I tied a rope around my neck and to a tree and made my poor and beautiful last friend on the earth plane ( my horse) take off as fast as he could. whew.......absolutely amazing!!!!

Funny thing, I tried this again over 18 months later. Still in the middle east. Seems the boy I saved from drowning in the past could be my lifelong friend whom I've known since I was two years old. We're still like brothers. Always been.
Also, the message I got this time was something like "You're doing fine. Just fine. We're lookin after you".

    Interesting stuff. Take care y'all!

I just saw this post - outstanding... And if this can be done while a being is experiencing one lifetime, then it would seem likely this could be experienced by that being once they shed the body of that one lifetime.
All the above is all and only my opinion - all subject to change and not meant to be true for anyone else regardless of how I phrase it.

Wow that is amazing. I have done 7 days twice, but 18 months is pretty mind blowing.
