So, the two as companies and as people, have all the tools at hand to make this happen, is as close to the idea of 'today-now' can be considered to be 'real', with regard to starting now and making it happen. We're not looking at pipe dreams or speculations... we're looking at real capacity from people who have assets, and track records of doing things.

We're probably looking at some form of collaboration in this area, collaboration that has taken the long road toward being public and real.

This is my 1244th post on this thread, so I guess I just passed the 1234 mark without noticing, an appropriate place to be for what comes in this next instalment. It get a bit complicated I’m afraid… I had to read it through more than once myself, so good luck with that

If like me you have always considered theology to be the ultimate in weird metaphysics, then here is some indication as to what it’s supposed to be all about. The trinity is the central mystery of Christianity, i.e. not supposed to be understood but taken on faith. However, when you see the method behind the high strangeness, you understand that it simply doesn’t work: it reaches a dead end in what Wolfgang Pauli calls ‘Platonic infertility’. As previously, I am presenting the material of Remo Roth here, with comments of my own as I go along. Just as a reminder, Remo Roth is a former pupil of Marie-Louise von Franz, who was Pauli’s analyst and Jung’s colleague, so he is in a privileged position to explain and overcome the difficulties encountered by the two men in the field of synchronicity.

The Medieval Platonist Scotus Eriugena’s idea was of a creation (natura) having active and passive aspects: creating (creans) and created (creatum). You have first a non-created creator and a created creator, respectively God the Father, the transcendent origin, and God the Son – the one coming into the world. This second person thus embodies the creative force in Ideas – which amounts to stating that Ideas are simultaneously abstract concepts and material objects. The third combination is of the created with the non-creating, i.e. the corporeal world. Again there is an apparent paradox in equating this materiality with the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit. It is the paradox of divine immanence: ‘God has created Himself in the world’. We do it all the time ourselves. Whenever I make a post, I create myself in that post. We call this soul, and this is precisely what soulless Artificial Intelligence (a hot topic these days) does not and cannot do. Hence the title of Remo Roth’s book is The Return of the World Soul, and that is the force that will save the world because AI is powerless to resist it.

The problem with this trinity is of course that there is a fourth term here: the uncreated non-creator. Scotus is at a loss what to do with it and, says Pauli, since he is in a Platonist mindset of a static, unchanging cosmos, for him it is a goal of theosis (deification) that melds with the first person. I would add: you see the ‘fall’ from spirit to matter in two steps, but the path to redemption is like a ladder with a rung missing. I see the Christian view of redemption through Jesus on the cross as an attempt at taking us back the way we came. But this is contrary to the symbolism of the cross as shown in Pauli’s diagram below. Basically the system is bust, and why it is bust is because it is a static description of a dynamic (Hermetic) system. The circle should be a spiral.

Alternatively, here is an analogy of my own. You might see this two-tiered setup as being like a double door to a public building, designed to keep an ideal temperature on the inside despite wild fluctuations on the outside. The doors going in are jammed, so you can only get in by slipping past as Jesus is coming out – which is difficult unless he leaves both doors open at the same time, and that is not supposed to happen. In other words, there is an impassable barrier between spirit on the one side and matter on the other. Agape’s story of beautiful spiritual beings who have been mired in dense earth matter for millions of years appears to offer a perfect illustration of the dead-end that this situation leads to. Hence that narrative hopefully has less to do with the reality of the cosmos than with this particular NeoPlatonist understanding of it; and therefore the solution to changing the narrative would lie in the Hermetic alchemical understanding that I am describing.

Understandably then, when Jung tried to mend this quaternary system by putting a new interpretation on this fourth term, Pauli was unable to follow him. Given that we are talking about a last-minute theological fix, one would not really expect it to work. When in 1950 the Pope decreed the new dogma of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin, Jung latched onto this idea as a possible fourth term. The 19th century dogma of the Immaculate Conception, or Virgin Birth, came about after the Lourdes episode, while the dogma of the Assumption, whereby upon her death Jesus’ mother Mary was assumed (ascended) bodily into heaven, followed the Fatima visions. Jung was enthusiastic because he saw it as a way of introducing the divine feminine – which is ultimately where all this is heading, but we still have some distance to go. In this way, Mary as a human moving up into divinity would unjam the doors and return them to two-way operation (rather like you can reset a cat flap )

When I say this is a static system, I mean that no one is actually going anywhere. Any movement is totally circular and nothing changes. God the father is just the eternal God. Jesus represents a singular point in time and space rather than an all-pervasive Christ consciousness. And so does Mary, a singular woman in death and in childbirth; but this also raises the theological issue of her birth: she really needs to be immaculately conceived herself, but then so does her mother, her grandmother and so on in an infinite regress. There is really no point at which humanity switches off and divinity kicks in, but the process is nonetheless not seamless. My double door analogy anticipates the proposed solution inasmuch as it posits an intermediate realm of coming and going. But it cannot be a static, hierarchical model of the portal to some government or judicial building which the man in the street only enters in unusual circumstances.

Pauli’s criticism of this model runs as follows. The Virgin Mary is a ‘concession to matter’, a ‘countermeasure to the devil’, ‘strongly disinfected matter’: being without sin, her dark side is overlooked. Being the opposite of the Empyreum (place beyond Heaven) of Platonic ideas (Jesus, the created creator), as uncreated non-creator she is to be seen as the absence of ideas, in other words ‘as evil, or as the Devil in Christian terms’, Pauli states. Hence only this ‘disinfected’ idea of the female principle has access to the Empyreum. This is the aporia or impasse of Christianity: either it ignores the divine feminine altogether (the Protestant approach), or it finds itself confronting its demons (the Catholic approach). Either way, the divide remains between the superior masculine spiritual element and the inferior feminine material element. This has led to much of the violence in our historical past (but not necessarily in earlier times).

The problem can be understood in terms of the qualitative aspect of numbers. Mathematics deals with the quantitative aspect of number: any number n has a ‘successor’ n + 1. Thus 1+1=2, 2+1=3 etc. Qualitatively speaking, unascertainable, non-energetic unity becomes duality, duality plus unity produces a trinity symbolized geometrically by the triangle. This is where the two systems diverge, because the fourth term cannot be derived by adding the previous numbers: 2+3=5. 4 can only be derived indirectly as we shall see. Adding to Remo Roth’s analysis here, I note that you can obtain a qualitative 4 more directly by combining unity and trinity, but only by omitting the intermediate term of duality. This amounts in the model described in my previous post to introducing the Virgin Mary/Devil term by dropping the second person (Jesus) term, in other words by replacing Christianity with Satanism. It would help to explain how this pseudo-introduction of the feminine leads to its negation, whether through rape and abuse of females or, by a further negative twist, the same done to males.

According to Remo Roth, every successor should contain qualitative aspects of all the predecessors. In other words, bipolarity includes oneness, and trinity includes both. The specific quality of this third term is therefore energy, the flow between a positive and a negative pole. So the qualitative next term will combine trinity energy, bipolarity and oneness as well. 1-2-3 is a special case because not only does it add up to six, it multiplies to six (1+2+3=1*2*3=6). Geometrically speaking, a single double triple (triangle) is the Seal of Solomon (or Star of David), which is not particularly Jewish and was a powerful symbol in Pauli’s dreams. The (phallic) triangle pointing upwards meets the (vulvar) triangle pointing downwards, symbolizing the marriage of male and female energies.

What this means in terms of the feminine is that you now have a complete trinity of mother, daughter and spirit/energy that has interaction (intercourse) with the male trinity: this is the creative coniunctio, hierosgamos or holy wedding. It is a two-way process that remains for me to describe in another post, although it is actually nothing new to villagers.

The problem with Jung’s quaternity can be seen in geometric terms. In Flying Saucers, Jung says “4 is the natural division of the circle”. Roth shows how this is incorrect: 6 is the natural division of the circle, which neatly divides into six radii. The right-angle cross is only derivable by first using the ‘male tool’ (the compass set to the radius) to mark off the 6 equidistant points on the circle forming a hexagram. After that, the ‘female tool’ (the straight edge) is also needed to draw the Star of David as an intermediate step to drawing the cross of the square. Hence in qualitative terms, four comes after six.

I would add the relationship between the hexagram and a square is a little more complex since the hexagram is the outline of a 3D square, i.e. a six-sided cube. Hence a quantitative four and a qualitative six coming together add a whole new dimension. This I believe may be seen as the geometrical equivalent of the quantum acausal leap that can affect an individual and the entire world, the individual soul and the world soul. The quaternity is therefore a valid alternative to the Seal of Solomon provided we consider the fourth term as being expandable into a trinity. An example of how this works would be the distinction between spacetime (3 dimensions of space + 1 dimension of time) and timespace (3 dimensions of time + 1 dimension of space), which together imply a total of six dimensions. I will look into the notion of timespace in another post.

Where does the number five fit in here? (I am on my own from here on.) It is possible, although rather more complicated, to construct a pentagon (/pentagram/pentacle) (any polygon actually) with just a compass and a straight edge. It can be seen from the animation, in partial contradiction to the above analysis, the right-angle cross is in fact directly derivable from the circle, or better still, derivable in conjunction with the circle. What is also apparent from this animation, however, is that that the straight edge is used first. What we get to see, then, with this asymmetrical figure is a battle of the sexes: which one has precedence? The feminine influence can be countered in two ways. One is by reversing the figure into the familiar satanic goat’s head symbol. The other is by associating the upward pointing star with the masculine spirit principle. The figure below is a masculine one: where is its feminine version I wonder? In other words, the pentagram is in many ways a debasement of the star hexagram – not in itself but in the ways it is used. You might see how the hexagram would come under attack, say by placing it like a target on the chests of a whole population for extermination. Similarly, the pentagon seeks to trump the hexagon, when you think that a truncated pyramid is a hexagon, but placing a capstone on it reduces it to a pentagon. The notion of completion here is the opposite of perfection; more like the closing of an open system.

The qualitative fifth term is the child of the fertile sacred wedding: in alchemical terms the infans solaris (solar child), or the quintessence – the fifth essence. This is a sort of subtle matter that has the ability to multiply (multiplicatio), i.e. send out from this intermediate world radiation capable of ‘transmutating the whole surroundings and even the whole universe’.

When the feminine principle comes into balance with the masculine, this means that spirit and matter are no longer in a hierarchical relationship of above and below, I guess they revolve around each other, forming a torsion field. In terms of consciousness, the mind/matter split can be resolved in its corporeal aspect through the skull brain/belly (gut) brain pair as described in earlier posts. It seems to me that these two seats of consciousness surely meet halfway in what is elsewhere called the ‘heart brain’ – hence speaking or acting, or thinking ‘from the heart’ is done when the two are balanced. Remo Roth does not say so in so many words, but he does mention the heart chakra.

This is the particular point for which new forum member David Allen provides startling independent corroboration with reference to his spontaneous cure of severe heart disease. Thanks to eaglespirit for putting us through to David Allen and welcome to David to the forum and this thread.

Just read your reply and WOW WOW WOW. Unbelievable! I haven't yet checked out the links, but wanted to reply about your comment on Remo Roth. In the understanding from downloads, here is what I have come to learn:

The brain and the gut are both emitters of unique and different energies (space-time for heart and time-space for the gut). The heart, with assistance from the circulatory system, along with electromagnetic energy, harmonizes the two into our experience.

A huge "a ha" moment for me! I never equated the reversal of my heart issue with any of that information I had received. This makes perfect sense to me. Like I said, I have an understanding of quantum and multidimensional physics, yet the information is deep within, and certain triggers allow me the ability to remember. Your comment about Roth allowed the received information about brain/heart/gut to come to the forefront of my consciousness. I am new to this process, but when it happens, it appears remarkable and miraculous to me.

After visiting a local market and seeing there a charming Tibetan woman selling at least equally charming jewellery, I wanted to read more about Tibet and the first book I got happened to be about Tibetan thankas. That was definitely an interesting read. The book explained the use of the thankas and explained every bit of the composition, which is quite regular. The colours and amount of time it must take to much such vivid drawings, I learned, has nothing to do with a love for art or aesthetic appetite but is merely an act of worship (says the author, sorry no name now). At first I was a bit confused and maybe also disappointed about that (the thankas are - to my eyes - artistically powerful). It was as if there was no depth in the people's experience, but there is, theologically, as the thankas are religious tools. It reminds me of believers who do good to please God. For the love of God...but what if it weren't for God, would these people still do good and make colourful art? I think they would.

I just googled and my theory was confirmed. I mixed it up some though with "björntjänst" which means a "bear service" and that for sure is negative.
