Major U.S. TV networks ABC, CBS and NBC have chosen to not broadcast President Barack Obama's speech on immigration Thursday night where he'll outline proposed plans to change policies that could potentially affect five million lives.
Even though the Spanish-language network Univision will telecast the speech, the major English-speaking networks have decided to stick with their entertainment and reality TV programming tonight.
If you're near a computer or mobile device tonight, you can watch the speech here starting at 8 p.m. ET:

Does this really and clearly show who owns the media at this point?....
Are they no longer 'in love' with him?
Hmmmm... comment?

Your assessment is possible, but I wouldn't rule on the matter just yet.
Based on the description, I find it equally plausible that some/many of the things he's slated to say would tend to aggravate a larger percentage of the population. The choice to not cover the speech could be a combination of obfuscation and preemptive damage control in the agenda of bringing about changes that just might be certain to otherwise piss people off.
Lets not forget that those who oppose Obama's policies are often written off as racist,... now he's going to be talking about immigration,... double-whammy for anyone who A. watches, B. doesn't agree, and C. cries foul.
Edit: Damn, I shoulda put money on it!

Re: Media blackballs 'O'....hmmmm
They've never been in "O's" pocket. Surprised you didn't know that. They couldn't stop his support from the American voters who put him in. They couldn't keep the narrative of war, because he's not down with warring when the country is just coming out of a economic slump caused by WS and Bush/Cheney. They've always when he was running made him walk a tight line and only when the people demanded information on the campaign, did the Hillary sect and status quo get on board, for politics only. They never fooled him or those who voted for him. We knew they would pull all the bells and whistles when the inevitable lost nomination to make him look bad. The only thing I don't forgive him for is surrounding himself with enemies of both parties to see if the worst could come up with the good for the people after their career years in DC. When the voters started pulling all the information on the other representatives and checking to see who was for the people, most were not the status quo, but new voices of the people who had been shut out. As you can see, they are still shutting us out. WE are all immigrants and if the Native Americans aren't complaining, why are certain immigrants. Can't they stand on skill and stamina like we do? Are the so lazy they only want to be in supervisory roles when they have no skill, and are a family member that needs a job. Bad customer service, if you ask me, but that's the jist of it all. He doesn't need the media to do anything for him, the people will ensure that he's alright and serves out his term in safety. If they want to screw the country after all he's fixed, then another elections coming, and I'm sure the hate will still be there for minorities, and illegULs. Honestly how do you cleanse a stain of hatefilled poo, if it's sticky and smears you? That's the media and DC.
