You girls are going to love this one!

I was in the supermarket today! OK! Women in their 40's to 60's kept staring at me. First thing I thought "Is my zipper open?" No. Could it be my cologne or lack of cologne? No! They were staring at my as*! Well! I haven't had an as* since my 30's.

My wife and I joke about this when we go to the beach every year. Yes, she caches me looking and I catch her! LOL! I tell her if I am not looking, you might as well put me in the coffin!

You know there are some awesome things that can happen at the supermarket! Today, I picked up my item, checked out. Looked back. What I presume was a little old lady, counting her coins to make a purchase. I saw she didn't have a enough! Had $4 in my pocket. Started to give that to the cashier, changed my mind. Asked how much her bill was, $19.34. So I wrote a check for the amount. Well, I try to do this throughout the year! On our way out, she said "I will pay it forward"! I almost stop dead in my tracks, my eyes moistioned up! I said you already have my dear!
We are blessed! Not so monetarily but decent health and a roof over our heads! Just talked to my old buddy Muggins. We were in the Jaycee's (junior chamber of commerce) back in the 70's. Well after that disbanded, he set up a food and toy drive starting in 1980. He and his helpers feed, clothe, toys for the young'uns and shelter 600+ families a year. I am very proud to be a part of this!

Second Thoughts! No, I'm not bragging. Just want you to know that we can all do something to pay it forward! One of my favorite movies of all time! PAY IT FORWARD! Google and watch it!

Off to town again, hardware store. Buying a toilet, a bathroom sink, a kitchen sink, plus all the fittings. Also electric switches and plugs. Waiting for the glass people to come and put in windows and glass doors.
Then comes the frustrating part...
Instead of going wild decorating and furnishing the place (the fun part) I have to get on a plane to Barbados again...sigh.
A truly divided life. I will return in February. Husband will only come with me for two weeks.
Only Avalon remains with me wherever I am, as the only constant.

Finished adjusting my brakes. Goes without saying, sliding through traffic is a hazardous thing. It's not the pads, they're fairly new. Just that pulling the brake didn't make anything happen anymore, so tightened things up here and there. Looks like my cables will soon need replacing too. Starting to become like barbed wire, ouch.
