Nope, can't say as I am feeling "it".
I am feeling, however. I feel used up. People need me and I give of myself and the reservoir doesn't refill. It would be nice to feel like I'm part of the cosmic euphoria but my lifework assignment seems to be right here, right now, feet flat on the floor, concerning myself with people who can't do for themselves.
If the "it" you feel can be packaged and sent. I could use a little.
    Always,
    Heartsong

Haha Shezbeth, yes you are, all of the above. The energy is vibrant, and even the naysayers are affected!

It is more than the holiday spirit, more than wishful thinking, more than a passing moment.

A very real and accessible source of energy that can be tapped into at any time, gtiven the right focus and resonation, thoughts turned toward universal truths, minds aligned, hearts attuned to something beyond the needs of the moment. Higher, ever higher we flow.

Heartsong it is in those moments of being immersed within the care of others, service to, that you are most deeply connected. Perhaps you are not feeling it anew, because you are immersed within it, it is you, so integral to your expression that you don't even notice it, you've been within the flow for so long.

    Blessings.

    ok...now I'm feeling it brother.

in the Casteneda books DonJuan often affectionately calls Carlos' body "stupid"....stupid in the sense that it has a mind of it's own but detects very little. perhaps I have a stupid body....I don't know. ive no doubt people are feeling something tangible. threads similar to this will pop up occasionally and members will passionately give testimony to their experience. sometimes I feel a bit jealous and sometimes i feel a bit confused. sometimes both.

I don't mean to be a Grinch. I like the positivity here. like TargeT I'm pleased for everyone but im left wondering what the hell theyre talking about. perhaps if I meditate to the Jackson 5...?

I feel like this is the right space for this.

It's a powerful song, when I listen to it I think of the tension between the ego and the soul. Between the false identity -- the facade -- and the inner being. The song speaks to me like the cry of the emotional body that has been stifled as related in The Right Use of Will by Celine DeRohan.

I also think of the tension between those in power, who we trusted at one point, and our inner sense of the real world -- all that is truly righteous, connected, free, full of Light.

This song speaks to me of the process of emerging from oppression, a rebirth, a blossom of inner Light stretching is limbs after being confined for so long.

    Here's the lyrics...

Listen to the song here in my heart
    A melody I start but can't complete
Listen to the sound from deep within
    It's only beginning
    To find release

    Oh,
    The time has come
For my dreams to be heard
They will not be pushed aside and turned
    Into your own
    All cause you won't
    Listen...

    [Chorus]
    Listen,
I am alone at a crossroads
I'm not at home in my own home
    And I've tried and tried
To say what's on my mind
    You should have known
    Oh,
    Now I'm done believing you
You don't know what I'm feeling
I'm more than what you made of me
I followed the voice you gave to me
But now I gotta find my own.

    You should have listened
    There is someone here inside
    Someone I thought had died
    So long ago

Oh I'm screaming out, and my dreams will be heard
They will not be pushed aside or worked
    Into your own
    All cause you won't
    Listen...

    [Chorus]

    I don't know where I belong
    But I'll be moving on
    If you don't...
    If you won't...

...listen to the song here in my heart
A melody I've started but I will complete
    Oh,
    Now I'm done believing you
You don't know what I'm feeling
I'm more than what you've made of me
I followed the voice you think you gave to me
But now I gotta find my own,
    My own.

    Yes.

You did not mention faith once. That seems to me to be no mean feat because as I read you finely worded OP, it resonated with that in me that now knows/feels, but which was only active after I took a leap of faith and started knowing things that cannot be rationally explained. That is just me though and you are not talking about me or you, are you? You are talking about the "group" - and sure, I feel that more and more as the group grows larger.

I am talking about you, Anchor. Of course! The faith of a mustard seed ... So many fine msgs, flatulation, beautiful words, songs (thanks Jerry, Jeffrey, Mike!), soul awakened, levity and hearts aligned, souls sensing one purpose rising.

Bit of clarification: this "feeling" is one that binds us all and has. It is nothing new for most of us. Those who don't think they feel it now felt it years ago, when they were in the vanguard of people who were Awakening. This piece written just a few days ago, is in reference to the "sharpening" of the feeling, a greater intensification as events ratchet up.

It may be felt momentarily, when looking at the MSM and something is said that all of a sudden births that resonation, a strong vibration within the body. It may occur when looking at a video here on Avalon or elsewhere, where something is said that gets you to ringing like a bell.

A feeling that suffuses the body - even if only for a moment - that others of a similar orientation feel as well when encountering the exact same series of ideas and concepts. Similar vibratory states, experienced by more and more people across the world, which STRENGTHENS the overall frequency range as it is collecting more and more "bells", the clamor building, growing, rising.

This is not a channeling msg. Not belief, not airy fairy ruminations. This is practical, real experience.

What I have felt a few different times over the last couple months, I would say for myself is very much out of the ordinary. An ecstatic feeling that can be described similar to how you have, a burst of energy that resonates, a strong vibration within the body that gets you to ringing like a bell with confidence and a sense of righteousness along with feelings of super human power, mentally as well as physically. I've been totally confounded by this when it occurs . For me its been brought on by listening to music. Its been fleeting to say the least and really could not sense where or why it happened except that it just did.

That feeling, for me, is often accompanied by some kind of insight, mostly into some masked or hidden part of my being, or event from my past previously not fully comprehended.
It's a kind of "aha" moment.
Making it possible for me to attain a deeper understanding of what is going on "in there", from a more objective perspective.
It's like when you're beginning to see the cracks in your koan.

    Finally, it's a re-integration of fragmented consciousness.

In there is out there simultaneously isn't it, Onawah, so that understanding of what is going on within illuminates the situation that often gives rise to the feeling, eh? A cycling, or rather, spiraling of energy and understanding, light which is information, bioluminescence. Perhaps if we had instruments that could measure our bodies at the moment of these experiences, we would note a corresponding increase in that particular property of our intrinsic "aliveness".

I consider this feeling to be an indicator of some sort of "universal truth", some form of greater confirmation that connects us to those deeper flows of light/information/energy that course around us every second of every day as we dip into the current and reinvigorate ourselves. Kind of a confirmation of greater knowing and belonging, perhaps.

But actually, of course, the illusion that there is an inside and an outside and that they are different is just that, an illusion!
But as we train our focus on the similarity of what we are seeing "inside" and what we see "outside", the cracks begin to appear more and more in the facade of that illusion.

Yes indeed, Onawah. Language is inadequate to the expression of truth.

The more you learn, the more you realize that, the more you sit there with a smile looking at people, saying nothing.

    The Ten Ox Herding pictures

    From:http://kyoto-morita.org/blog2/Pe=3_index.html

    1) Searching for the OX: An oxherd realizes that he has lost sight of his ox (authentic self) and start searching for it. The Ox-herding Pictures start with a contradiction of “seeking for oneself by oneself.”The foreword for this picture has the following sarcastic comment: “The beast has never gone astray, and what is the use of searching for him?”

    2) Seeing the Traces: The oxherd is pondering where it is upon finding only traces of the ox. He has fallen into a philosophical contradiction, i.e. to try to understand inherently intangible enlightenment intellectually.

    3) Seeing the Ox: He gets a glimpse of the ox. This is the beginning of experiential understanding.

    4) Catching the Ox: The oxherd catches the ox but the black ox is nothing but ego, not the authentic self. This stage is still within the domain of self-attachment where we frantically strive to solidify our ego and is equivalent to so-called “wild fox Zen” (pseudo-enlightenment).

    5) Herding the Ox: By accumulating discipline on ego with constant encouragement, the ox (mind), becomes pure white.

    6) Coming Home on the Ox’s Back: He becomes one with the white ox, the pure mind, and returns to his deepest mind.

    7) The Ox Forgotten, Leaving the Man Alone: The authentic self or pure mind, which was to be found out until then, is not an objective existence any more. The ox disappears and the oxherd sits alone. Here any opposing contradictions disappear and he enters into the high realm of sainthood in the process of “seeking enlightenment above (Jogu Bodai).” We have to say, however, that this is a self-absorbed state of mind which is still far from enlightenment.

    8) The Ox and the Man Both Gone out of Sight: This is “the ichi-enso” symbolizing emptiness and nothingness. Here even self does not exist, which is equivalent to the state that Zen Master Dogen described “body and mind dropped off (Shinjin-datsuraku).”Nothingness means that there is not even single thing but it also means inexhaustible beings. In the next stage, the Ten Ox-herding Pictures immediately enter into the best part of the story.

    9) Returning to the Origin, Back to the Source: The oxherd returns to the natural world once again, where there is a fresh state of mind described as, for example, “The willow is green and the flower is red (Zen phrase).”

    10) Entering the City with Bliss-bestowing Hands: All of the previous nine pictures are drawn on the black background so that we feel as if we are watching the world through a round window. However, this last picture without the black background is the world of freedom. The oxherd has imperceptibly become a simple and innocent “foolish saint” exercising compassion toward people on the street. He is indeed a man of action with a pure mind. This state of “saving sentient beings below (Geke Shujo)” is the great enlightenment.

Hi Rahkyt, here is what I have been experiencing for well over a year now: in the early morning, when I am just starting to awaken, it almost feels as though something stops or starts, working. It is very momentary - the experience feels like this; I open my eyes, and perhaps roll over - or stretch, and I feel the electricity in and around me stop. then it begins again. When I first awake I do not remember that electrical feeling, but as I am stirring, I begin to feel it - a year or so ago, I thought it might be the signs of disconnecting from something...... but, perhaps it is reconnecting to something..... I do not know.... right now I do not notice the feeling. Neither do I notice that electrical feeling during my 'live' waking hours or time...... it almost seems as though my 'power on' button may be failing..... or at least that is what I thought in the beginning when I first noticed this..... however, now that I have read your thread, maybe it is something otherwise. A good thing?
    Warmest,

Of everything you need to know, there is one thing and that is Love.
It sounds vague when talked like this but anyways words are not enough to express what we know.
That is this fire inside; a flame which burns but not destroys. Enlightens but not decoys, entwines but not isolate...

There is a need, an urge within to never be apart of it. To always be it.
In the past people were seldom touched by it but now it is happening more and more.
Love, love - and see what happens

Wow Onawah, not half an hour ago after responding to you, I was talking to someone on the phone about the 10 Oxherding pictures. A wonderful synchronicity. Thank you!

Crosby, Jake has an interesting thread here that speaks to OOBEs. There is a crackling feeling to the energy of entering and exiting the physical body, what you speak of may be related to that type of experience. Often, we mistake OOBEs for dreams, when they are a bit more than that. You might want to check it out!

    Thanks for that, Beren!
