Tom Goodrich - Hellstorm: The Myth of the Good War

"Tom Goodrich, majored in history and also psychology. He painted watercolors for a living in New England before authoring 10 books. He has written books on the American Civil War, the Indian Wars, the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, World War II and many more. We’ll discuss his book Hellstorm: The Death Of Nazi Germany, 1944-1947, which details the most deadly and destructive war in human history where millions were killed, billions in property was destroyed and ancient cultures were reduced to rubble. WWII was truly man's greatest cataclysm. Although thousands of books, movies and documentary films have been devoted to the war, there has never been such a terrible retelling of the story as found in Tom’s book. We’ll begin discussing events prior to the war and talk about the nation that defied the elite global order. Tom tells about WWII “good war” propaganda and what’s not said. Tom also talks about the dark secrets of the allies who tortured, raped and unleashed sadistic behavior upon Germans. We’ll hear about the millions of innocent German civilians, including women and children who were massacred. He’ll also talk about the worst nautical disasters in history which claimed thousands of lives, the greatest mass migration known to man in which millions perished and the fate of those wretched victims in post-war death camps and torture chambers. We’ll continue with post-war events and the denazification of Germany. Later, Goodrich shares stories he uncovered, some humane, involving fighting soldiers. Also, we’ll discuss the post- war ransacking of German inventions and patents. At the end of the member’s hour, we touch upon mass immigration, taking back our countries from government traitors and creating a new framework for when the blowback hits home."

"A guy that I used to work with from Winston-Salem told me the story of he and some friends riding dirt bikes 20 miles or so out in the woods when they came upon a strange “crater” in the ground with smooth sides like melted glass. It was a “pond” in the sense that there was some rainwater in it I guess.There were no access roads or caterpillar tracks so it wasn’t a construction site. I think the location must have been near Winston-Salem. They all immediately got the feeling they should get out of there. Maybe it was a meteor impact ? I just liked the imagery for the song."

The boys went back to town and told some friends. A couple other guys went there shortly thereafter and they saw it too. The weird depression was gone within a few days, as if it was never there.
Now this is weird! ….supposedly someone took some photos, but never gave them to any news people, reporters, etc. The story became quite a local legend. I’m surprised it’s not really famous. Maybe because the “mystery circle” was there and gone so quickly?

More snow, intense cold compound the misery

Againnn, snow this past weekend for us New Englanders. Today a frigid morning with the wind chill -10 to -35. Snow againnn tomorrow. My shovel shoulder screeches, “Even weight lifters take time off for muscle repair.”

I posted a couple of days ago that I woke up to the sound of a snow plow. In the twenty-one years I’ve lived here they’ve never hired a service. That’s how much snow we’ve had. And yesterday he was back again.

We’ve gotten pounded in years past but what makes this year different is it’s non-stop nature. I would not be exaggerating when I say we've gotten hit with 2-3 storms a week for at least the last month.

Grrrrr & Brrrrr.

My shoveling from three storms ago we got hit with 27"/ 68 cm.
