The most important FCC vote of our lifetime is about to happen.

On Feb 26 the FCC will vote to save net neutrality or let Comcast and other ISPs create Internet slow lanes. Some members of Congress, on behalf of their Cable donors, are trying to stop the FCC from protecting the Internet we love. There isn't much time to stop them, contact them now.

Join the Internet Countdown

Last year, more than 40,000 websites participated in the Internet Slowdown to demand real net neutrality. It worked! But monopolistic Cable companies are pouring millions into a last ditch effort to derail the FCC's historic vote. Help us flood Washington, DC with calls and emails to show lawmakers that the whole Internet is watching, and we're literally counting down the seconds until we get real net neutrality.

Many people of all political persuasions are behind net neutrality. It is my opinion that the government should not be involved in any way shape or form with the internet. Once they declare the internet a utility and take control we can expect (in the long run) less efficient service and speed. Higher cost and most definitely a tax on internet service. Probably the worst aspect of net neutrality is it puts the content we view on the internet in jeopardy of being controlled by the government.

If the government does not take control of the internet we could experience some serious bumps in the road as pipes are developed but in the long run it will be less expensive, more efficient and content will not be controlled.

This is how the government always takes control, by telling the public that they will benefit by controlling a company or an industry. Can anyone name a product or service that the government has made more efficient or less expensive?

Epic Victory at the FCC

Washington insiders said it couldn't be done. But the public got loud in protest, the FCC gave in, and we won Title II net neutrality rules. Now Comcast is furious. They want to destroy our victory with their massive power in Congress. You won net neutrality. Now, are you ready to defend it?
