How strange, as something similar happened to me last night...for the first time in years. My fear reaction took a little longer than 1/2 second, though.
My attacker started out to my upper right, where there is a window in the room, then descended to my left ear, holding my head down , and tried to go inside through the left ear. It was more like a mechanical device, with consciousness, and very mean. Eyes were like the view pieces on binoculars, shiny silver. I woke up screaming. It was very real, and scared me. I don't get nightmares, normally, but this one was one of the worst ever. My immedite thought was to stop reading Omniverse's posts....never even to think about nor mention AIs. Ignoring them is the best weapon.

I can't even tell when people are serious or joking anymore when it comes to posts like these, but if you're serious then I would agree with your conclusion as far as ignoring them.

Buddhists tend to see Buddha or related imagery, Hindus see their own imagery. People who are totally non-religious sometimes just float around and look at things calmly, with no religious overlay, and then come back.

My point is that we overlay our consciousness on top of reality, even before we die. If you obsess over something, you'll create it. Reality is created inside of you before it manifests outside. It's easy to convince yourself that this is not the case, that reality is simply "out there" and you just passively take it while it happens to you. But this is not an empowering position and neither is it true, if you take responsibility for your own consciousness. All you have to do is start trying to take inventory and responsibility for the contents of your consciousness and you will start to see changes. Many people experience synchronicities and take note of them without even trying this stuff intentionally, and they can't understand why they happen.

Lucid dreams are another example. When you are lucid dreaming, it's obvious that everything that pops into your consciousness finds expression within the dream. Even unresolved issues you have in your subconscious -- these appear in your reality as well. That's why it's not so simple to just change your experience of reality like flipping a light switch. But nonetheless it can be done.

Hope you don't think I'm joking, although I have been known to joke at times, these events I described are no joking matter.

Like you, I firmly believe in the fact that what arises in front of us, dream or waking consciousness, is created by our universal self, which some are more connected with than others.
But there is this grey area, when the danger or threat encountered is totally beyond comprehension.
I still haven't reconciled that part yet. I was trying to read the symbolism of the lens eyes, and the left ear connection as well.
My left ear is where my husband's critical voice enters, while we are driving, and we happened to have two pretty nasty misunderstandings while on the road today, which upset me. Which means that the dream was a premonition, of the 24 hour kind. Those happen to me a lot, especially when we have full moon.

Also, not just the lunar phases...but the way the geometric angles between our birth planets and the transiting planets of the moment giving us experiences which might take eons to grow into.
These days Pluto's position is 90' 00" from my birth Neptune, and so I was expecting some inter-dimensional event, and even of the third kind.

With this understanding it is possible to explain quite a few weird and otherwise illogical events, as it was possible to reconcile my "alien" encounters of 1994 as a by-product of having changed countries and was grappling with getting used to my Inner Alien...the part of my European self trying to adjust to living in Latin America.

Interestingly, that is the opposite of the conclusions drawn by Dr. Michael Newton, with over 7000 subjects in a special deep hypnotic state to recall time spent in spirit form ("between lives.") He found that no one saw Jesus, Buddha, or Mohammed.

There was a case relatively recently of a boy who said he had an NDE and saw Jesus. He later recanted and said he was coached (by his father, I think) to say what he did. I don't doubt that some people who have NDE's see the "heaven" and the "teacher" that their religious upbringing overlayed onto them - I just thought I'd point out that Newton's subjects never did. Maybe the NDE experience (which is short, by Earth clock time) is only the beginning of the journey into the spirit realm, and thus still "partly cloudy" with Earthly preconceived notions?

Well, Newton did say that they tend to have a brutally wicked sense of humour, at times. Sort of Carlin meets Hicks on a bad Monty Python day. Can't say I disagree.

Hi Calz, that too is a belief. Does it server you and does it bring you comfort or fear? Do you wish to hold onto it?

I am willing to admit that ultimately I probably don't know much at all, but I have a certain knowigness that I was not forced to come here, but I chose to come for a reason. I made a choice, just like all of us did. I do have faith in a higher power which is overseeing all of this. That power is good.

We are not puppets, we are sovereign beings. There may be darkness in this world so that we could see and know the light too. In the spirit world we understand how powerful beings we truly are, here on Earth we are just starting to see it, because we forgot it.

Ennui & Bunion, sounds like a good name for a store. No idea what they sell but I think I would check it out.

Do you have those moments that you're reading news and chancing upon something so improbable, or outrageaous, or both, and just thinking: no way...and then parking it in the back of your mind, like this is never going to happen anyway.

Well, remember that separate nursery thing for children from poor and middle class/rich families (few pages back)? Yes. This morning it was a small and quick news item, bam, and gone. I had to listen again to check. The first time it was proposed (last month) it caused such a row and now...it's already being implemented.

Day care costs are going up (link). People on wellfare for example will go from paying €1,56/day to €5/day. Working families can get back part of this money in filing it with the annual income taxes. Non-working families can't, because they don't work. They'll pay the extra expense, at their own expense.

Basically this is telling unemployed people that: Hey, you're sitting around at home all day anyway, stop clogging our systems needlessly (there are long waiting lists for child care) and take care of your children yourself.

And that's ok if you want that, if that is your choice. But, if you choose to have your kid in day care, for whatever reason, and you are thwarted like this, then we are dealing with a form of discrimination.

I don't know how much benefits are calculated to be gained from this measure, but the social expense is that the gap between income classes as well as ethnic groups is going to get (even) bigger. And that is a sad prospect. Especially if we consider the great (and costly) efforts made by politicians (before these ones) to integrate everyone into society.

This can't last anyway. The very people who voted right wing are now hit in the face by the same wing. The only problem is, they don't learn so easily. Every time comes voting time, they keep hitting the same button...

Ah well, we can always show them how it's done. How 'bout this button right here for a great weekend

I have my plasma lamp just besides me... And The Prestige is a great movie (one of the last great ones from the the magician, Nolan).
Also I was just listening to Bowie. Edit. Ha, you just posted the same clip.

Oh, no wonder I liked it. I did not know it was a Nolan film. (you can keep the third batman film, but I'll keep Inception and Interstellar)

The only Nolan I (personally) know is so wired, that he sometimes has his color sense change on him.

But not the one, the Holy Wood magician, known as Christopher Nolan? When it comes the human mind, Nolan knows the subject well. Rather well indeed... I liked Inception too, Interstellar didn't struck the right cord with me - emotionally, although it tried (too visibly). Amazing effects though, as always in Nolan's films. Not so sure about the concept it tried to instill, though. In my mind the smaller the budgets his earlier movies had, the more original and innovative they were, but maybe that's just me. Or not. I love movies, but more than that I love to understand the human psychology. If I would have been an academic person, I could have written a PhD about the subject... Ok, too much talking/writing for me today, because I know when excited I just start to blabber too much about some things.
