Default Zero point core grounding - the easy way

The concept of "return to zero point energy" has been of much interest to me.

For the past couple of years I've searched for ways to do this without having to travel far distances to visit a reputable shaman or something along that line.

I've found a number of very difficult, hard to follow, obtuse exercises which were simply unworkable for me, so I gave up.

Recently, I stumbled upon a concept which is so easy, I didn't think it could possibly work. But it has been tremendously helpful, so I'd like to share it.

    Take a deep breath.

Hold the breath for a few seconds.

Observe how you feel, emotionally, while you are holding your breath.

    Release the breath.

    Repeat.

I have found that while holding the breath, emotionally, I felt nothing.

I even tried thinking about really horrible things while holding my breath. Emotionally, I felt nothing.

I tried thinking about really beautiful things while holding my breath. Emotionally, I felt nothing.

During those few seconds of holding the breath, the being goes back to zero point, or emotional neutrality, thus neutralizing any emotional charge one may be feeling at the time.

Since practicing this, I feel so much more in control of my emotions. I'm not as bothered by all the issues currently plaguing my life. I feel ready to meet the challenges with a clearer mind since I don't feel emotionally charged. Even physically, I feel stronger!

If you practice this very simple exercise, please post your results.

    With love,

    Daughter of Time

Ideally, when I do Tai Chi and Chi Kung it’s done with long, slow, deep breathing. And the whole energetic being/body is centered and neutral in it’s movement. No next thought nor feeling. Only present awareness.

What works for me is to just go still...to keep breathing, but to just hold my body very still...and sort of disconnect my emotions from my thought processes. In other words, I don't let myself become identified with my emotions. This may or may not be a good thing to do, depending upon the situation.

Daughter of time you are right. It works. Now you should try to hold to that feeling also while breathing so you can be at zero point for longer periods of time. In this manner your meditations will be more profound and you´ll be at zero point faster.
This things are incredible, it is like if we are "drinking" from the same fountain. I bet all around the world many of us are reaching this conclusion at the same time.
    Thanks and Love

    Juan

Thanks Daughter of time, breath is such a core point of balance. whether it is being slowed or quickened or stoped, each and it's own purpose. Whatever works to go back to Zero point grounding. Steve Richards talks a lot about it in his Holographic dreamtime healing theraphy method. Funny, recently I tried the opposite of what you recommended - doing the Kundalini yoga breath of fire and it does wonders in both having the stop point but also spreading the chi all over the body. Cheers ~

for me it´s during holding the breath that I get a glimpse of the subtle workings in (and around) my body.

    Hi,

had your post bookmarked on my toolbar for a longtime to remind me to try your method, hoping for a time I could try it out.

being a somewhat 'hermit' after my day time 'services' are done I have little desire to explore the physical world

I do however explore computer games, and some put you in a place of extreme heights - something that 'crunches the base of my spine' with fear

I have abseiled, parachuted and 'staffed' helicopters, but on the edge of buildings fear is still 'wobbling'.

So I played a computer game that put me on the edge. Tried the hold breath thing...and it worked!!

However, I needed to move along in the game so had to take a breath and the fear returned. So stopped and held breath. Worked again.

Not perfect, but thank you so much.
    regards
