This is the kind of thing I am counting on happening when our botanical garden opens. But can my plants grow fast enough, before the selfie photo fad has burnt itself out? Like one post mentioned...drone selfies will be next.

I clicked on one of the pictures and came to Bridget’s page. She's provided a couple of videos. This one is I can relate to. When I stand in California redwood forest the silence presses on my body. If we could bottle the energy there, we'd have a spontaneous regenerative potion for everyone.

Bridget explains her technique to connect in with the energies of the trees and the land and their interplay between.

No, no selfie drones, I can not tolerate that....I am so over selfies and I am also over Money, Disneyland, any tom Cruise movies and people on their phones while driving, this can really drive me crazy!! Saw two accidents right in front of me last year.


But I do live the redwoods, June gloom, and Sedona sunsets.

From box to table in five to six days. Amazing! Keep the photos coming if you don't mind. I may join in on the 'srhooms party'.

Second day in a row, I'm stir-frying the butter mushroom, broccoli, garlic, Nutiva hempseeds, gluten free nutritional yeast, cayenne, curry, turmeric and a scrambled egg in organic coconut oil.

These giant trees and magical forest reminds mi the ones in Yakushima island, Japan. When I was in Japan I wanted to go there, but it's really really far from Tokyo and Kyoto.
That forest served as inspiration for the movie Mononoke Hime (Princess Mononoke).

What a beautiful movie...

That plumber messed up. Kitchen under water. All the cabinets still emptied until we get to the bottom of this. Meanwhile everything dispersed around the house. Okay, look for positive things,...

Good weather. We've been having some good weather in these last two weeks, up to 26°C. Now is the end of Easter Holidays, schools have taken off again this morning and the streets are empty again. Sunny still. It's like summer - when you're not the one travelling that is - and the whole city's flown out to the sunny south. It's wonderful!

Both I mean, travelling is nice too, if you pick the right place, but not travelling and having the empty city is way better. I look out and I can almost grab the canvas. And the silence...A city that goes silent is almost supernatural. Well, best stop here before I regret having fixed our holidays.
