When I first saw this thread's title, I anticipated that I would be merging it in with one of the existing JADE HELM threads.

However, as I listen to the youtube video ... I am concluding that it's buzzword compliant techno-babble fear mongering, belonging in no reasonable category .

He's not even getting the "JADE" in JADE HELM 15 right. He's mapping "JADE" back to another acronym, the Joint Assistant for Development and Execution, as described in a 2001 report by BBN to DARPA.

Yes, the first video, the one of the Christian guy, speaks of several topics. One of them, as I could understand, is that through computers we are being mapped or scanned or a profile of us being made. This could be done with powerful computers. And that is a topic worth considering.

I'm not so sure the JADE connection can be so easily dismissed. It was a program developed for rapid deployment logistics, which may be being tested in this training mission. It makes more sense than the discussions about JADE meaning China.

Also, if BBN Technologies is connected with Raytheon and this program was developed in 2001, might it not tie to the Raytheon passengers on the 9-11 planes? (Even though I believe that had more to do with getting rid of some loose ends regarding the remote control aspects of that operation, the date is interesting.)

With JADE, a military planner can build a preliminary force deployment plan, including the Time Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD) in less than one hour. This speed in plan construction is possible because JADE supports the rapid retrieval and reuse of previous plan elements for use in the development of new plans. In addition, JADE employs an easy to use map-oriented drag and drop interface where force modules (FMs) from previous plans (cases) whose force capabilities and composition match the requirements of the current situation can be dragged from the case library and dropped onto a geographic destination. Plan modification and/or adaption is supported through remindings, e.g., each time that a force module is created or is copied into a plan (TPFDD) the user is automatically reminded of the need for geographical changes.
