Default How did you end up as a Project Avalon member?

Was it from searching or by accident or recommended by a friend...or, like me, one thing led to another and here I am.

"It all began" as Ted Knight used to say on the Mary Tyler show or was the Lou Grant show and start into a revery and had to be stopped or he'd go on forever.

It all began with Edgar Cayce which led to David Wilcock which led to Project Camelot and on to Project Avalon with many twists and turns in between. Now you know I'm an old soul
and have been around for a long time.

    What's your story? Please share!!!!!!!!!!
Question Everything, always speak truth... Make the best of today, for there may not be a tomorrow!!! But, that's OK because tomorrow never comes, so we have nothing to worry about!!!

Mine started with the search for truth and the experiences I have experienced in life. Edgar Casey was where I started and I also ended up here in hopes of finding answers.

My tale is pretty simple. I Google'd "spiritual forum" after my experience as a last ditch effort to find something more. Didn't find much at the time from ATS and such. I was still bumbling around GLP, getting frustrated with all those folks.

9/11 was the starting point for me. That led me to Alex Jones and a few others. Finally i stumbled upon PC in 2010 then that led me here. My journey has taken me on many twists and turns but has been worth it.

A life long feeling that everything was not as it seemed and a lot of things I was being told made no sense.

Time spent living and travelling in the Middle East, Europe, USA, South Africa, the book Holy Blood/Holy Grail, Timothy Goode's books, David Icke's The Biggest Secret, 911, Project Camelot from the beginning, visiting Project Avalon semi regularly eventually applying to be a member and being accepted.

This is the only forum I have ever joined and find it invaluable

I took to the internet as though it had been absent from my life for decades - it seemed natural to me. I was searching everywhere I could for 'real evidence', for the genuine story behind our world, UFO's, alternative science - and then i stumbled on Project Camelot one day, I was hooked, my wife used to roll her eyes as that intro music rang out of my headphones And from there of course it was a natural progression to join up on this jolly hay ride - my application was accepted and here I am 5 years later still cherry picking and commenting - sifting among the fragments of the story, still piecing things together.

Simple but not so simple. I go where the highest truth and like minded folks can be found. It was inevitable that I would find this place. I am only surprised I had not found it before I did. I guess I wasn't ready. Still wonder sometimes if I am.

Funny, I was thinking about the bolded part above just yesterday, thinking that the internet to us living in this incarnation in physical vehicles is probably the closest thing we have to accessing that infinite "library" of knowing and understanding that we have access to when not constrainted in this incarnation (and which some are able to access via meditation, OBE, etc)... that thought yesterday led me to realizing this is why children always inevitably have a point in their development where they seem to have a "lightbulb moment" when they begin to believe that their parent is the physical equivalent of this infinite database of information, and they suddenly get excited and begin asking us about EVERYTHING, thinking we have all the answers. We are born here trapped inside of limited bodies, unable to communicate telepathically as we are accustomed to, unable to access telekinesis as we are accustomed to, and unable to access that infinite library in the sky, so to speak... as we learn to use our bodies and our voices we begin to believe we have to just rely on ourselves, so when we realize we can query our parents and get answers we get excited and think AHA! This is what I've been missing!... of course all too soon we realize they are not that infinite database we are used to, and as our conditioning in this incarnation continues we begin to forget everything... some of us sooner than others....

Sorry, not sure where that ramble came from.. but it was inspired by your post, anyway!

    ----------

Oh. As for how *I* came to be at Project Avalon... I have done psychic work on missing persons cases for years now. I was working on William Tyrrell's case and did a google search one morning to see if any new news was released overnight, since he went missing in Australia and I am in the USA - news comes out during our night-time due to the time difference. Despite having searched google many times for information on this poor missing child and having NEVER seen any search results for Project Avalon, that particular day a thread about William from PA was near the top of my results. I read it and then read some more things here on PA, and instantly recognized that this is where I've needed to be for a long time now. Wandering is great but home and family are even better, IMO. It's so nice to finally find you all in this incarnation.. I was beginning to feel quite lost.

Edgar Casey via Project Camelot written interviews via Bill and Kerry's video interviews- The feeling that both of them were true and genuine and what they have presented and created convinced me this was a ride of a lifetime I wanted to be on and continue to follow, embrace, process and spread the energy. Very cool Avalon worldwide family we have built here to debate ideas/topics and educate one another and assist when needed. It's what we are here for , to grow, assist, and smile as much as possible feeling the love all along the way-what a ride its been so far!

Finding people of like mind has always been difficult for me, people who could understand, or at least not ridicule me for, thinking outside the box.
I don't feel isolated , or insulated (lol), here.

I found Avalon because John Lamb Lash threatened me. A few weeks after he made the threat, I stumbled upon workingactor's Kalika War Party thread and Bill's post there. I waited for weeks to apply for membership because I wasn't sure what to do...I wasn't sure if I should tell anyone about the threat, I mean...but eventually I could not stand it anymore and I simply had to get in touch with Avalon, because Bill...without knowing me or anything about my situation with JLL...confirmed everything I had come to learn about what JLL is like behind the various masks he wears, and I wanted him (Bill) to know it.

Many years ago Utah Phillips said "The Earth is not dying, it is being killed, and the people killing it have names and addresses"

In any event, I live on a planet that is dying, and I'm simply looking everywhere to ... to try to stop it.

So far, nowhere I've looked has produced any results, and this is just, to me, "another place to look"

I had a good University education, read educational books and only watch educational TV - clearly a product of rational, educated Western Civilization. Then weird stuff started to happen started with alternative healing and culminating with a UFO citing and a rather bizarre synchronicity, and I decided to open myself up to the more "woo-woo" way of looking at the universe. I didn't want to have real face to face contact with "those people" but the internet allowed me, from a distance, to see how other people would look at the world. My google searches began to bring me to Avalon threads, and as I read more and more, I decided I had something to say about these matter too, and if I wanted, I would have to become an Avalon member

I was a member on the Alien UFOs forum after witnessing an amazing sight, the only reason I signed up was from a quick google search about the subject matter and an application process to that forum in order to see if anyone else had witnessed what I did and also to hear peoples opinions on my experience. I was then browsing through a certain thread on that forum and someone mentioned that they were an Avalonian (referring to this very forum); the term 'Avalonian' ticked something within me that urged me to search, find and sign up. Alas, here I am today over half a year later.

P.s. If your looking for more responses similar to this thread, here is a thread that I made a bit since ago and it has many detailed and interesting responses https://projectavalon.net/forum4/show...Project-Avalon
