Today, couple of miles (2 km) from where I live a helicopter hovers. It’s where they’ve chopped down acres of trees to erect towers and run power lines that go on for miles in both directions. The job is a work in progress.

I’m still waiting to see if any eagles come back to make claim on their demolished habitat.

Wow, FABULOUS! You KNEW I was going to like this one. How could I NOT??

When you work on the Village, I would like to see greenery, cottages rather than multi-storey houses,
and slightly bigger windows.
Birds in the sky and a cat, or even a leopard/cheetah, if possible.
Hope I'm not asking too much.
But really, well DONE!!!

Sitting outside enjoying the nature sounds. Enjoying some peace. And a beer, which is always nice. Noticing lately how I had allowed my mind to take me over and really focusing on getting that under control. Man, I have to stop setting down what is important when other things distract me.

Listening to all the conversations going on. Experiencing right along with ya. I never really leave.

Engaged the washing machine.
Our resident robin and blackbird keep stimulating each other's song through exchanging ever stranger and more elaborate tweeting patterns.
Otherwise, quiet outside. Sunny, cool, no damn stripes in the sky. A "banking holiday".
A ringdove is waddling through the high dandelions on the lawn, relaxed.
Haven't shopped for food in weeks. Don't really know what this one here runs on...

Goodmorning! Sun is shining, birds are tweeting both in a tune on radio from 1700 Peru and in our common "patio" wood doves whohooing, no blackbird just yet they wait until later. I'm off to my allotment where a red robin use to sit really close waiting for me to dig up some goodies

Clock in the village post says 6.50? But on my computor it says 8.50? Hello slow Mercury, explain that? Not corrected for Swedish summer spare time? By the way, that's a stupid thing, the cows don't like it, the kids don't like it and back to winter time it suddenly gets dark early in the afternoon and the natural travel of the Sun doesn't like it either just messes up our natural relationship to nature.

Ha ha now on radio they just mentioned "cow release" in the spring when the cows are let out to feed on grass

And now my father called to tell me it's a program on radio called "Gökotta" about all the different birds singing (it's only the males though) in spring. Gök is Cuckoo and otta is early in the morning

And we're on a bay of the sea... Or a large lake. Three mountains, homes of wizards, one abandoned... Er available to a Village shaman etc.

Lovely for Ulli; but not for a Village. The reason I say this is that no matter how benevolent and saintly Ulli looks, it still will appear that Ulli is above us all, the one-and-only master caretaker or even creator. The only way I can see people in the image would be small human figures like in a classical Chinese landscape painting.

(Just an opinion.)

If you disagree, and if the image is to be dominated by a character, and using the spherical theme for the village setting, then maybe Ulli as a child (or a child, representing Ulli's "inner child") wide-eyed, smiling or laughing with 2 hands open beneath the sphere (but not touching it) so it could appear that the playful child is just beginning to toss the sphere up or as if the child was just about to catch the sphere. Might be fun to then copy that image, mirror it horizontally, and resize it down to where it fit inside the sphere as one of the villagers. (Thus the child is both inside and outside of the village simultaneously, facing herself, with no way to tell if it is a reflection or a projection.)

(No, I'm not indulging in mind-altering substances - just sleepy and ready to float to bed.)

You all are too kind. And I never thought of her as Ulli at all.
I thought she was the Gaia spirit, and that my avatar had just been the inspiration.

I'm too busy at the moment with my projects to be a good caretaker of the Village.
Getting a truckload of construction materials early in the morning, starting the foundation for an additional master bedroom, and are halfway with building a bigger greenhouse. The one I bought last week is already too small.
Meanwhile husband is away, traveling. Medical seminar in the U.S. So all this organizing has to be dome by me, myself, and I.

Maybe I misunderstood Roisen's art - it appeared to deify Ulli to me, and though, yes, Ulli is a goddess, she's a goddess among goddesses and gods and I didn't think she'd want to be depicted as "lording over" the village. Ulli saw the figure as Gaia-like, and maybe that was Roisen's intent - and I missed it. Still, even if it is Gaia or Gaia-like, I don't visualize Gaia in human form (humans are the most destructive aspect of Gaia.) The graphic is dominated by the (beatific/saintly/Madonna-esque) human figure.

Roisen's a talented graphic artist, and has her own vision - I probably should have kept my mouth shut.

By all means keep it flowing, Dennis. The only risk around here is that we each reveal ourselves, or where we are in our here and now, for all the world to see.

And since all perceptions count, as part of a process which leads an individual towards a better understanding who they are and how they see stuff, you might just honor your own for what it is, and then use it, to see what you as a soul can learn from the temporary Dennis person, and his way of perceiving women in general and Gaia and all humans and their destructiveness in particular.
The basic Aries issue is that they tend to play the feudal overlord a lot, and have fun doing so.
And they love a challenger to come forth and give them a chance to demonstrate their strength.
So when unchecked they will always be returning to the archetypal maleness of Aries which demands that women need to be protected, mainly from invaders who need to be fought off. If successful they get the prize, the princess.

This is a simple scenario which can only backfire when the princess later turns into a dominatrix old crone.
Now life becomes more complicated and the aging warrior Aries needs to reinvent himself, totally.
And the answer is always back to basics; clean slate. Start over where all abide by the same rules,
whee the grassroots rule.
I bet now you really wish you had kept your mouth shut....


here is a perception I came up with after some reflection ...the woman is not lording over anything.
She is sitting at a table, with a crystal ball, across from the viewer,
and together they dialogue about the vision revealed inside the crystal ball.
And together they see community, an ideal Village community,
with cottages giving private space to the individuals or families,
and a few common buildings where they can collectively unite with all the others.
The common buildings could be a park, a place of worship, or meditation,
a place for recreation/ sports activity, a school, a government building,
a hospital, a post office, a police station. And maybe even a shopping mall.

P.S. How telling...I forgot movie theater, shooting range, tennis club, golf course, prison and eateries.
