Mikelodium, I can't believe how well you are doing. So happy for you.
My great-grandmother would talk to me about growing up in the wild Mississippi countryside in the first decades of the 1900s. The thrill of seeing a car for the first time and the arduous work of subsistence living and animal husbandry. She said that when they slaughtered a goat, they would have to sneak up on it and club it without the goat having any idea it was coming. She said they if the goat was frightened it would ruin the meat, and make it taste bitter. The fear would turn it bad. That always struck me. I guess it might differ by the animal. Who knows....I've never slaughtered my own food.

Sometimes we wonder if that is the whole idea behind Kosher and Halal.

The other side of the equation is the idea that the animal will know it is dead and not be an energy that hangs about.

I will say what I've said before, that depending on my level of awareness at the given time, the meat can sometimes give me a full picture of the moments that surround the animal's state of mind before - and through the given death. That I absorb and live the emotions and turmoil of the energy that they suffered through.

Given the meaning of my name and what it is about..... this is not unexpected.

The whole modern and ancient complex meaning is: King of the Scots, king of the Jews, blood of old/dead, sorcerer reborn, occupier of the dead, the one who shelters the doorway which all must pass to enter the kingdom of heaven.

That makes me think of Upton Sinclair's book "The Jungle". How they would slaughter the pigs as described in that book still turns me off from eating pork, or as PL would say "cousin".

    Horrible.
ewee made my stomach do a flipflop too Ull.

A friend of mine came over recently to visit. I served coffee with organic, raw-unpasteurized milk from free range cows. She said she was lactose intolerant and the milk would upset her stomach. But said she'd try it anyway. Well it didn't upset her stomach. She asked me what kind of milk do you buy? So I told her, she replied you're kidding....
No, I said the milk is from happy cows.

and I can't eat or drink anything that is pasteurized either. I kept getting sick and would breakout in red blotches on my skin. Thought it must be something I'm eating so I cut out all pasteurized foods and juices even if organic and only ate and drank juices that were unpasteurized or juiced my own. I stopped getting sick and the red blotches went away.

This song "Mercy Now" of Mary Gauthier is timeless.

My dad is on the brink of passing over (96).
My brother and someone else, who is very dear to me, are going through a rough time.

Well, "Every single one of us could use some mercy now".

    -

My father could use a little mercy now
The fruits of his labor fall and rot slowly on the ground
His work is almost over it won't be long, he won't be around
I love my father, he could use some mercy now

My brother could use a little mercy now
He's a stranger to freedom, he's shackled to his fear and his doubt
The pain that he lives in it's almost more than living will allow
I love my bother, he could use some mercy now

My church and my country could use a little mercy now
As they sink into a poisoned pit it's going to take forever to climb out
They carry the weight of the faithful who follow them down
I love my church and country, they could use some mercy now

Every living thing could use a little mercy now
Only the hand of grace can end the race towards another mushroom cloud
People in power, they'll do anything to keep their crown
I love life and life itself could use some mercy now

Yeah, we all could use a little mercy now
I know we don't deserve it but we need it anyhow
We hang in the balance dangle 'tween hell and hallowed ground
And every single one of us could use some mercy now
Every single one of us could use some mercy now
Every single one of us could use some mercy now

    -

Mike Farris's cover of Mercy Now really touches me.

From an interview with Nicola Tesla:
"Tesla: Yes, these are some of my most important discoveries. I’m a defeated man. I have not accomplished the greatest thing I could.

Journalist: What is it, Mr. Tesla?

Tesla: I wanted to illuminate the whole earth. There is enough electricity to become a second sun. Light would appear around the equator, as a ring around Saturn.

Mankind is not ready for the great and good. In Colorado Springs I soaked the earth by electricity. Also we can water the other energies, such as positive mental energy. They are in the music of Bach or Mozart, or in the verses of great poets. In the Earth’s interior, there are energy of Joy, Peace and Love. Their expressions are a flower that grows from the Earth, the food we get out of her and everything that makes man’s homeland. I’ve spent years looking for the way that this energy could influence people. The beauty and the scent of roses can be used as a medicine and the sun rays as a food.

Life has an infinite number of forms, and the duty of scientists is to find them in every form of matter. Three things are essential in this. All that I do is a search for them. I know I will not find them, but I will not give up on them."

This song "Mercy Now" of Mary Gauthier is timeless.

My dad is on the brink of passing over (96).
My brother and someone else, who is very dear to me, are going through a rough time.

Well, "Every single one of us could use some mercy now".

    -

[I]My father could use a little mercy now
The fruits of his labor fall and rot slowly on the ground
His work is almost over it won't be long, he won't be around

Thinking of you, Heyoka. Uranus square sun, which we both share this month....having the same birthday, nearly.
Uranus brings major corrections in life, shifts, adjustments which are overdue.

I still don't know what mine will be.
My parents both are long gone.....
Yet they are still here. Especially my mother...we made a pact before she died, to give me signs of her survival.
There were many, right after her passing. Uncanny.

Thank you Ulli, this is pure poetry........

"I am part of a light, and it is the music. The light fills my six senses, I see it, hear, feel, touch, think, thinking of it means my sixth sense.

Particles of light are written note. A bolt of lightning can be an entire sonata. A thousand balls of lightning is a concert.

Numbers and equations are signs that mark the music of the spheres.
These sounds are the messages to the mind that life has meaning, that the Universe exists in perfect harmony, and it's beauty is the cause and effect of creation.
This music is the eternal cycle of stellar heavens. The smallest star has completed composition and also part of the celestial symphony. "
