I will not forum lynch you Omni (I like the way you put it) because in substance I agree with the title of this thread. For many, higher self contact is in fact astral contact with one's dreams or wishes or whatever, except higher self, and it is being confounded with higher self. And hence, this astral contact can be easily manipulated, by one's ego or by someone else's ego (re: individuals or groups of elses).

However: "No problem can be solved from the state of consciousness that created it" (thanks Innocent Warrior for this reminder).

Hence, to understand the problem we got to go higher up, in ourselves.

This is often done throught the heard, not the brain (in my views).

Hence, the universal love. What I read from you Omni and from dangerous sacred geometry makes me think or feel that you did not go high enough in yourself to understand univesal love. For example, Dangerous, even your avatar name talks about fear, as well as your post "when I have shown you my love you also have one of the greatest weapons to manipulate against me. " When in fear, we are not with or in love. When in fear, we do see opposites. We oppose to what is.

When in duality, we see duality as well, not unity. Universal love in about Unity. This does not mean that duality at a certain place does not exist, it just means it is at another level and can be seen for what it is. At this other level, I definitely do not accept murderers or psychopaths, because they are destructive. At the Unity level, I can sometimes see their larger purpose - although I sitll will not accept hatred (usually based on fear) and its psychopatic components (murder, etc.). In Unity, even duality is seen as having its part that is fine.

Unconditional love is Universal love in my views and it is not emotionally based. There is no dislike, fear or joy. It is letting the flow of universal life through, with acceptance of what is, for the betterment of the becoming (having vision for the futur, for the potentials and loving these as well). Therefore seeing the psychopaths, seeing their impact, and seeing the potential of universal life with and without them. And, in action, working for the betterment of the whole. But no, I will not put myself Under the axe of the psycho because of universal love lolllll. This would definitely be lacking vision, and yes, I would stop him axing my friends.

I must tell you that my définitions do change as life is let through, and deepens with time as experience of love is lived (and experience of fear and anger as well) in this 3D duality world.

Universal love is at another level than 3D life, yet, can be reached in this 3D state, by moments, in the life roller coaster game.

Oh, Omni, one does not try unconditional love (in my understanding of course), one IS universal love - by little moments.
