One of the fundamental teachings of Buddha. We get caught thinking about the past and over planning the future. Live the present moment to its fullest and everything else will be taken care of.

That pesky little mind, I admit that I am often guilty of hoping for a better tomorrow/world and do think about the past too sometimes, comes with the territory of being a visionary and hopeless romantic. Then again, when it comes to the subject of history, that's what I have always loved, well besides spirituality and certain kind of science. I try not to be too judgemental towards myself (I know I can be) for not always having the permanent state of balanced mind . =)

What an interesting quote, I have never read or heard of it before. Many months back during a time of meditation, the following quote welled up within me and formulated into words..... and for awhile I used it as my signature quote.
