Fourth of July 1826: Jefferson and Adams both die—The Hand of Providence?

Was it merely a coincidence that Jefferson and Adams both died on July 4th 1826, 50 years to the day after they both signed the Declaration of Independence? Or was it yet another sign of Providence that this Nation is an exceptional Nation, a Nation created not by accident, but instead with the hand of Providence guiding us along the way.

I always found it fascinating how two of the most well known signers of the Declaration of Independence died on the same day.

there are no coincidences; everything happens for a reason-

if my read sources are correct (and they always stand to scrutiny) the 1st signers of the many times revised US Constitution already signed on July 1st and the last two signers signed the middle of the following Nov. plus the whole gamut in between; who signed what/when was never clear to me; I apologize for the lack of provided links-

but I don't find it strange at all that both 'gentlemen' (didn't they both own slaves?) bit the dust on the same day-

US Constitution was ratified by the states over the course of years, The Declaration of Independence was signed over months.

The two former presidents were staunch adversaries on policy as Jefferson (states rights) followed Adams (strong central government) into the presidency.

On July 4, 1826, at the age of 90, Adams lay on his deathbed while the country celebrated Independence Day. His last words were Thomas Jefferson still survives. He was mistaken: Jefferson had died five hours earlier at Monticello at the age of 82.
