I think we all know that the mainstream has an agenda and sensationalizes headlines to sell their products. The unfortunate thing is that this pervasive behavior has not only transferred over to alternative media but it has become common place within alternative media. It is critical that we look at both sides of issues that are important to us. It is common place for both side to lie and speckle that lie with a few plausible truths. Only after looking at it from different angles can you begin to see the truth.Posted by joeecho (here)
In some ways a person could conclude that deception is interwoven into the very DNA of media.
It is not uncommon to present a theory (on Avalon or other places) and be met with a barrage of negative comments that border on hate. Try starting a thread that says 911 was not a government action, or try to defend the Jewish position against the Palestinians. I am not saying this is how I feel I am just saying that people get entrenched in one side of a story (and one media viewpoint) and refuse to look at both sides. So be it if I get some flak for saying this but it is just my honest assessment.
