The Ariel School UFO-ET encounter

[The One]

On 14th September, 1994, a UFO streaked across the sky over Southern Africa. Two days later, something landed in a schoolyard in Ruwa, Zimbabwe, with three or four things beside it, according to journalist Cynthia Hind. This was witnessed by 62 schoolchildren, who had little or no exposure to TV or popular press accounts of UFOs. Cynthia Hind interviewed them the day after the encounter and made them draw pictures of what they had seen. A few months later, Dr John Mack and research associate Dominique Callimanopulos traveled to Zimbabwe to research one of the most extraordinary group sightings of a UFO in recent times. At the Ariel School in Ruwa, Zimbabwe, 60 children reported seeing a landed UFO during recess. In 2007, Dominique Callimanopulos and Randall Nickerson began production of an edited video program presenting John Mack's interviews with the schoolchildren and faculty. The film became a consuming passion of Nickerson's, and he spent 9 months in Africa to broaden the scope of the film far beyond our initial expectations, discovering new witnesses that corroborate the students' accounts. He is now editing, after returning from a follow-up visit to Africa in 2009, and visits with the now-adult children in 2010.

It's truly amazing to know the effect that this incident had on some of the witnesses there 18 years on from the event.

On a personal note, there's a few points of interest for me, most notably the "slow motion" movement of the beings, which seemed indicative of a time manipulation of some form. There's also the point that there were apparently two other incidents at other schools within a 40km radius at the same time. Absolutely remarkable case and full credit to Dominique Callimanopulos and Randall Nickerson for garnering all possible information on it

I have yet to watch a UFO video, credible or not, without scary atmospheric music and overly dramatic narrative. I feel this cheapens everything about an otherwise interesting videos.

Film makers: I cannot take you seriously when it feels like I am watching "tales from the crypt".

On September 16th, 1994 at the Ariel primary school in rural Zimbabwe, 60+ school children described seeing a disc shaped craft land behind the school during the morning break time. Some of them reported seeing two strange beings approach the group. There were multiple sightings of unusual aerial phenomena by thousands of Zimbabweans during this same time period.

The children were interviewed immediately thereafter by Tim Leach, BBC Bureau Chief for Zimbabwe, and then by several other news agencies. Noted Harvard psychiatrist Dr. John Mack traveled to Zimbabwe to interview the children in depth due to the unusual nature of this event. After exhaustive investigation Dr. Mack concluded that the children were not making up the story.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention deadfoot. I think it's a great and interesting project and I'm very much looking forward to seeing the end result! Will keep my eyes open for this.

I have to admit though, I do still find it so very frustrating that we're still trying so hard to finally have a definitive answer to the question of whether or not there is extraterrestrial life, while I am absolutely convinced that the elite, or the ptb, have been in contact with them for decades. As I'm sure most of our fellow avalonians would agree with.
When the subject happens to come up every once in a while during conversations or discussions with friends and family I notice, or at least get the feeling, that the subject is starting to become somewhat forgotten... as if it's just not really in people's minds anymore.
I get the feeling that a lot of people are beginning to think that "if there would be alien life we would've found it by now" and are therefore starting to think that there probably isn't, rather than keeping the possibility open. And I think that's a real shame.

But that's just my personal feeling and experience. Others might feel the exact opposite. In the end I'm just glad that films like this are still being made, just to at least get the subject back to people's attention.

I don't call UFO's UFO's anymore, it's a bad generalization! They, the craft have been around for so long now (Prehistory) that I call them OAP's that's 'Observed aerial Phenomenon' the acronym fits the phenomenon and the vast time period that they have been around ha!

I like "OPAs" much better, especially since frames of reference are so important. It is like, if you want to really see what is there, you have to consciously disengage your frames of reference, and simply observe.

I read/heard that their lens are removable and they feel naked without them. An explanation I heard is most star systems are binary. It's like we won't go out in the bright sun without sunglasses.

It goes very deep - I do recommend it for anyone who had any kind of encounter(s) in their life... but be prepared for your emotional responses.

Randall Nickerson has been working in the film industry since 1987, first as a stage and film actor, before transitioning into cinematography, and ultimately into directing in 2001.
