I have 15 horses in my "back yard" so much easier when they are no more than 100 meters away

Just got back from picking up a pallet of Timothy grass (36 35-50lb bales)from P.R. : horses will eat for another week on that!

Off to do some gardening. Looks like we'll have another hot day, so must start early to get out of that sun by 10 AM.
People keep asking me why my solar install is taking so long..... see above statement, haha!

But then, I do most my work at 7PM+ these days:

    What feels good to me:

    Moving into my heart center.
    Feeling love.
    Feeling good.

    Breathing in strongly and deeply.
    I am the hurricane.
    Feeling the energy flow.
    Exhaling slowly

    Breathing in strongly and deeply.
    I am gentle.

    Breathing in strongly and deeply.

I'm taking advantage of a growth spurt. I thought best not to hang out the ‘gone fishing’ sign YET AGAIN… Of late, it seems to hang more often than not. I see it as good thang. Every time I come back lighter.

I wasn't intending for you to take it on all by yourself, Pauler.
Just saying that with you around we have a better chance at kicking butt here.

As it happens, we are following this on Mexican TV right now, and the worst has been averted, I believe.

Amazing, Meeradas, although perhaps a little too minimalist for my taste.
At least some landscaping, some flowering shrubs, would have been nice.
Our land here was cow land too. The old Spaniard reminded me of my father-in-law
    who was a passionate farmer.

Well, vid was taken in autumn... bet looks different in spring/ summer!
Yes, the emptiness - just right for me to tap into the creative well inside: No distractions at all.
Plus, i didn't see a tv inside the house - one more asset.
But, at least i'd start an Anastasia-style veg garden there, with all the water around.

And i do like the fact that it doesn't look like anything worth looking at, from afar.

I watched the vid seven times already. Just seeing this makes me breathe deeper...

We built a horse barn there and I commuted there and back twice a day, getting up before dark, getting home after dark, working in my office during the day. Then it turned out that corporate farming came in and leased the land all around me, and they work 24-hour days and sprayed "stuff" on the land to grow corn crops. All I can offer you and your daughter is "good luck" and hopes that you find suitable lodging for the horse(s).

Well, as we know around here, “good luck” can go a long long way Only five days after your post, Meggings, I have something to report. I know, I may have waited until things were getting hopeful (others would say desperate), but this is ridiculous. We have been looking for something for a year or more, remember.

On Thursday, we visited a couple of places. One was a clear no-go from the outset. The house was right on a busy road and overpriced as well. It had the land but no stabling. Apart from the noise pollution, you always have to factor in where a horse is going to go if ever it escapes from its paddock. Straight into oncoming traffic is the last thing you want. We saw another place that ticked most of the boxes: the price was right, with just about enough land, but no stables, and the whole property was pretty ordinary, with one section littered with all kinds of junk. The sort of solution you would look at when running out of possibilities. There was a third, more promising place to see, but it was the owner’s chemotherapy day, so we arranged to call in on Saturday (yesterday) instead.

Yesterday I thought we were going to a place I had seen advertised (and which looked nothing special), but no, it turned out to be something entirely different. So you understand, my optimism was completely “mis-placed”, i.e. blind. We came up this driveway, and the first and abiding impression was Wow! A nice country house with an outbuilding and another building covered (overgrown) with Virginia creeper in its glorious autumn red. And across the way, enough stables for about ten horses. One interesting aspect was the layout: not a large field with a house on the end, but a number of plots spiraling out from the house in the middle. The whole garden was a series of mature bushes leading from one spot to another: vegetable garden, greenhouse, terrace, trees, lawn, orchard… I think we may have missed some bits altogether. And the same thing happened exploring the buildings: space after space with all kinds of interesting possibilities.

This property is only slightly dearer than the other one we saw, and considerably cheaper than the one we ruled out straightaway; so obviously it marks the end of our search, because it actually offers much more than I for one could have visualized. Meeradas’s fascinating video shows what vision can do to transform something built long ago with similar vision (or grounding) into something very new. (I would only question the idea of living over running water; I’m not sure that is a good idea.) But this is more of a readymade, where someone has already put in a great deal of thought and time and effort, and all it needs is someone else to carry on from where they are leaving off.

This would explain how, whenever we are invited (as by Dennis a while back) to visualize the utopia we would like to see, I have great trouble visualizing anything. We don’t need futuristic visions: all we need is to be doing a little more of what people have been doing right for eons, and a lot less of the fancy new stuff for its own sake that is getting us nowhere. There is a political lesson in there too: this amounts to being progressive in human affairs and conservative in material, earth-related matters. The dichotomy of our current political spectrum is not so much a false dichotomy that offers no real choice as a hopeless black-and-white separation of the above two stances: you cannot be a progressive conservative or a conservative progressive, you have got to be polarized as one or the other. Not true.

Heartfelt thanks to everyone for their kind thoughts: further evidence that they do lead to positive outcomes.

"Progressive Conservative", is the name of the Canadian Political party that was just removed form office in Canada.

They were originally actual 'progressive conservatives' people with a social conscience and action oriented aspect to them.

When the ability for unlimited expansion in open new stolen lands finally came to an end -like that of the first full deforestation of places like the UK and whatnot- the raping and self feeding hidden within the expansionism stood the chance of finally being exposed.

That there was a seeming just enough to go around and feeding of the party connections could no longer be hidden among the 'food for everyone' thing that had been happening up until then.

It is at this given time that the politics stared to go bad, with regard to the public getting it's seeming fair shake, at least as far as the public could understand it.

As things began to be crowded closer together (so to speak) (70's-80's) The rape began to peek out from the shadows, The cover blankets started to be seen as moving about, and that there was something underneath them. The beginnings of lies and scandals that the public could begin to see, due to the shape and thrust of the given lies and manipulations.

The politics went bad as the politics and the involved monies and corporations and power structures had to go on a course of outright lies and manipulation of the public that began simply enough - but became worse and worse. they went on the course of outright lies and manipulation, as they felt they still needed their ever expanding overly fair share (in the shrinking and manipulated resource system) and the small lies would never be seen, just like before. We all know that succeeding generations tend to take things past the normal ....and the norm is the norm.. and the greater kick over that of the given current norm... is what they are actually looking for. They know that the norm works, so they press harder and harder, until they are into forms of notable and noticeable insanity.

Similar to what the German writer said: "First they came for the democracy...."

My point is that corruption, fascism and similar bent took over the PC party of Canada, and used it as a Trojan horse, over time, decades in fact (+30 years), in order to truly drive actual American neo-con insanity and disruption ----into Canada.

Not that the 'other guys' will likely turn out any better, as the machine is bigger than the parties.

The backdrop that Trudeau is working under, the cover story of his fathers name and esteemed glowing historical rose-color filtered history, that glow is already wearing off and some very odd stories about his connections are emerging.

The lesson, one might proffer... is to go for the root, and never the surface symptoms.

"Progressive Conservative", is the name of the Canadian Political party that was just removed form office in Canada.

They were originally actual 'progressive conservatives' people with a social conscience and action oriented aspect to them.
Well yes, given the way politics currently operate, it is just a recipe for a huge dose of cognitive dissonance designed to appeal to everyone and with the effect of turning most people off.

Hi. I'm home, in more ways than one. I'm pretty much over gallivanting around. I finally gave in and removed the gone fishin sign...because it was driving me crazy to not have my thank you button. I know, this is a shock. Haha

I missed you all. Though, y'all know how it goes...I never really left.

    Much Love,
