Hi Shadowself.

I have just returned from my uncles funeral in Frome, Summerset, He was 91yrs old, so lived a good life. A true highland wake that lasted 5 days.

While there i visited Wells Cathedral and chanted some overtones in the domed room, Bill reminded me that you had posted info on Wells Cathedral a while back.

Boy was i impressed with the acoustics in that special hall. My cousin had never heard the likes and freaked out when i was overtoning,

Oh, why be such a meanie? Play with the clouds. Have them grow and move around. Many times I've seen the clouds start to boil over, in a manner of speaking. If you think of a witches cauldron (the way it's portrayed in an old movie), the way the "clouds" come bubbling out and flow all over the place, ....... I've seen clouds do that. I've always wondered if that was me or did that just happen by itself. But it would stop the minute I stopped concentrating on that particular cloud.

Update, Orph. Still no success with your cauldron clouds, but I was reminded from another thread about a rainbow I conjured up last year. Father Sky heard a request from an apprentice.

Father Sky morphed: blues, and sun, clouds, thunder. I called out for a rainbow. The birds answered back, “Rainbow’s on a coffee break. Where’s dinner?”

I dialed up the focus of a rainbow, but got hail instead. The clouds continued to thicken and the sun continued to drop.
One last call to Father Sky, “Let’s give ‘em a great big, huggin’ double-rainbow. Poof!”

Hi Billy!

I would love to have heard you overtone in the Wells Cathedral! That place is steeped in mystery and wonder for sure! What I found there was amazing to say the least. I did a huge write up on it back in 2012. The symbolism, history and mystery is overwhelming.

That photo you shared has two significant symbols in it. But I don't have time today to expand on it. Just know it's significant as to the coloring of the pillars and the ceiling.

My sincere condolences for losing your uncle 91 years young. I'll bet he could tell some stories around the fire!

Shadowself and Lionhawk, good to hear you guys have hot water now - how many days were you without it? Here's a hot water story. I was staying one night on the shores of Big Pond (in Cape Breton, home of Rita MacNeill, songtress - I wanted to have high tea at Rita's Tea Room on Big Pond, which I did - clotted Devonshire cream, tea biscuits, and strawberries).

There were storms, though, and the power went out at the B&B I stayed at overnight on Big Pond. I'd mentioned to the man of the house that I sure would love to have a cup of coffee in the morning, and regretted the lack of electric power. Well, well, next morning before going to work, this delightful fellow got out a propane torch and heated up a pot of water outside so I could make drip coffee inside. I was so impressed, and so touched. (I travel with my own organic coffee...)

But I barely was able to drink the lukewarm coffee, for daughter had gotten up and said let's go paddle on the water. I didn't quite believe her, but suddenly saw her out the window crossing the field of waist-high grasses. Well I took off running to catch up, and we got a canoe into the water and off we went. It started raining, but we continued on out past a gravel sand bar. The water was filled with jellyfish out there. It was magical on the silent water, in the rain, peering over the canoe's edge at the jellyfish.

And no heat, no light, no warm food for breakfast when we returned to the B&B wet through.

I'm sure we all have hot water stories, and no water stories, and no hydro stories...like the ten days of nada after a winter storm, when it was so cold we could see our breath in the house and concern arose about burst water pipes. Or the month without a toilet because the floor boards had rotted out from a slow leak over the years - in a house we were renting.

Ah me, the glories of having water and heat and toilets and electricity - I am pleased for you, Shadowself and Lionhawk, having a hot shower. Here are kudos for work well done.

Hot water or not it looks like you were having a fabulous time Meggings! The smile on your face is blinding and needs no sunshine. The smile is in your eyes!

We were without water for three weeks now roughly. A few of those days with no water at all because to remove the badly damaged floor and broken water heater Lionhawk had to actually remove the pipes.

But all is well and now that I look back it was not so bad unless you take into account the nights I had to wash my rather long hair in cold water. That was truly uncomfortable. The rest of the time we had stored water and I heated it on the stove and made use of that for washing. But all in all nothing beats a hot shower!

I'm so blessed to have my twinflame in my life who can actually do such things with ease even when his legs gave out he still had the "with it" going on! He makes me proud.

You know...it took us awhile to realize we were twins. I'm so impossible different but yet the same.

I was the one who dropped Lionhawk to his knees and he remembered. He remembered the ships...and the pirates. We both spent great hours on that ship. Some of the best times in my existence were on that ship. He knows what I'm talking about. But it was a rocky time and things were not as they seemed and he took the brunt of it and so did I. A story that will never be told but is etched in time none the less.

So...here we were...both chasing pirates and finally reconnected in a big way. We will never forget that day.

It took lots of loss and change to get to this point and we both worked very hard to finally settle down and breathe. A breath of relief you can only imagine I suppose until you finally feel complete. Nothing will ever take that away again. Not even death!

All Healing Lionhawk!....You are blessed to have such a loving soul-and-body mate!

Having the electric out for a day here, like yesterday, is a common, at least once a year, occurrence. We were prepared. Got out the candles, the camping stove and small propane bottles. Turned off the water so the lines wouldn't freeze, even though we just dug a new trench below the frost line and insulated the water lines from the house to the well.
Patted ourselves on the back for keeping water in the bath, after each bath, to use for flushing the toilet in a shut down like this. No problem, mate. Then we talked about what a house, beyond this rental of many years, should include to be self-sufficient, not just in times of scarcity but as a way of living. It feels good to be prepared without being over burdened by the possibilities.

I'm sending this because i sometimes like the reminder of the power of the quiet, the sounds of no electronics. That, however is a bit misleading because it is then easy to discern the high and low frequencies of cell towers, gwens, and satellite frequencies. I DO like the fact that the signals here are so weak that we sometimes have to stand outside to even get the 2 bars it takes to send a call, a text, or to receive either. The quiet, even with the noise, is something i treasure.
I will make it more of a healthy habit to turn it all off more often.

He had been dead for two years and I had chosen not to think of him. I moved away from where we'd lived together, for everything stabbed a knife-pang through my heart. But then two years after he was gone, having "stubbed my toe" repeatedly on memory, I turned to gathering up memories and putting them in a hand-scribbled journal. Then my soul took me on journeys down timelines, and I was with him on his flagship. I saw him as admiral, I saw him in Copenhagen battle. As an orb I floated over heads in a London coffee shop, and she/me looked up to where I was as I floated there, and I/me seeing her felt my breath taken away for she was so beautiful. Another time I watched her writing with quill at a low table, and Nelson came to her and fell on his knees as she turned to face him. He had come to say he decided to return to the navy, to defend England against France. She/I knew beforehand that he would choose that - this was when he came to tell her. And he laid his head on her breast, and she held him to her.

And the night before he left, when both knew they would never see each other again, he married her, even though he already had a wife. He married her in the sight of god, in this church, at this altar... That is why the letter left open on his desk when he died called Emma his "wife before God". Shadowself, I am so glad and happy that you finally got that hot water back. 3 weeks can be or seem like an eternity without hot water but you got through that in tact and I would suspect a seed was grown in you that gives appreciation so much more deeply. Lionhawk your twinflame/soul mate I see the love emanate. I can see that bright light from way out here. Love from the southwest.

I lived for years where I did not have electricity, hot water, and any other new fangeled tech. Makes your body and mind see and feel so much more of this life/existence. One must learn to understand all things I suspect.

Delight, Runningdeer, Hey it's me, and Meggings your tellings and love to Shadowself and lionhawk are full of wonderful and sorrowful feelings and yet fill us/me with true wonder of our being. Yes it is hard to be and to loose but we all gain and learn and memories are the essence in life and we continue. Hot water, love and blessing from all. I will spill some around this fire tonight.

Update, Orph. Still no success with your cauldron clouds,

Works best in the middle of the day, with small clouds. A calm day I might add. I don't say anything to the clouds or sky. I just focus intently on one cloud for a minute or two and then it seems to come alive.

Of course, the air temperature is a lot warmer here than where you live too. That may play a part. You may have to wait until summer.

Good Morning Folks!

Sorry for my absence as life has pulled me away to take care of things at our home. The water heater blew, the car died, and the truck got real sick. Then try to heal these things between the rainy days. So I have played a role as a plumber, electrician, grounds keeper, lumberjack, carpenter, mechanic, painter, etc. in the last 3 weeks. Still got things to do inside as the floor damage is not fully repaired yet along with the finish work.

I have kept a small eye on our campfire just in case, but you all have done a great job keeping it going and i thank-you for doing that! Even when it seem to get low on wood, I came to realize that the light from our fire was being put to good use as to heal other folks who really really needed it. Again, I say I am in GREAT COMPANY! I acknowledge all of you for putting another log on the fire.

There have been times when I wanted to respond but have been to tired to do so. Plus I am behind on some stories that I said I would bring forward. Like Scotland for instance. Plus as you know I did do some work on Halloween and I got a message back in a dream from those efforts. So when I get to it I guess I will get to it. hahahahha!

As far as blessings go....... I count them everyday in a real way. Even though I haven't posted much, I have thought of the many blessings that put logs on our fire. Delight's little friend with cancer. One of our great healers here doing what she does so well, RunningDeer. Miss Meggings and her revealing writing of the soul. And don't make me come out and find you my dear brother, Lost & Found. And I do hope that ZionBrion's new thread will turn into a book. It is always a pleasure to have Billy post! Ron too! I think Ron and I have a lot in common as far as Earth survival skills go. And Two Feathers and I are going to have a Skype convo one day. Heartsong's dreams are also a concern even though I opened my mouth and inserted my foot into it. Why do I do that? And if I didn't mention you, you are on the list. Soon....... So in the meantime, just know you are all appreciated. Even Bill Ryan. What about that Money Bomb Event?

Meggings....do you know I love you? I do! I don't say that to just anybody. That is not something I say and just throw around as in the mantra sense. I really mean it!

Same with everyone else that has participated in this thread. Do you know why?

I'll tell you. Because you are all coming from that place inside and not from a second hand story but your own. I loved and cried during that story Meggings. It was most moving.

This is why I'm addressing you in particular.

Do you remember in the beginning of this thread Lionhawk said "remember what you loved as a child...." That is the key to who you are.

Why do I love you? Because you are what you love! It's that simple. You are all here on this thread sharing what you are....and that is the love I respond to in this thread...even when I don't particularly respond to every given post...I've read them all.

When Zionbrian spoke of hitch hiking....I wanted to respond. Why? Because back in the day not only was I considered a flower child hippy....but I hitch hiked all over the USA....from one coast to the other. Spent countless hours in the Free Press underground and spoke of peace and all it means.


Yes I was one of those. But it all came from that child like love I had for compassion toward my fellow man. That is what I love. And that is not said lightly by me and any form of mindless "mantra"...but it rests in my soul...and I live it every day. I have for in fact countless generations of such love. I've died for such love. And I deplore anything less.

So Meggings and everyone else on this thread...I love you. It's that simple.

Now a gentle reminder of love...and you truly are what you love. Nurture that and you will see what Lionhawk was speaking of in terms of seeing that part of you that is truly to be loved.

Oh...quick before I leave I have to share this.

ERT is Emergency Response Team. Of which I'm part of.

I had to make up a missed class this year and day before yesterday I was at that make up class and it happened to be about treating shock and any form of medical response necessary.

During the class (I kid you not!) One of the people there had a seizure...and he was sitting right next to me! What was weird was everything in that make up class had to be used to stabilize him until it was over, and we used jsut about all the things from that class except the part about wrapping and stopping blood loss.

What a trip! I suppose if he were going to have a seizure...that was the best place to have one. The guy holding the class is a retired Fire Captain and expert in such things thus training our company and staff of ERT responders of which I am....whoa!

It was pretty impressive...as everyone knew just what to do...thanks to the training.

Just thought I'd share that because ERT can mean several things and I wanted to clarify that.

Adventures in hitchhiking continued...

This is a bit embarassing part of the story, but I hope you have a chuckle.

So I left off telling a bit about the Australian guy and I jumping into glacial waters...so right after we left the gig picking apples he headed south down the west coast of the south island. A family picked us up in their RV and were headed down to their brothers house for a festival they vend at every year, its called the Wierd Food Festival, stuff like grubs and cow testicles. They sold Fijian fish soaked in lemon and then marinated in a coconut mixture, and the other product...Ill get to that.

So the drive down was about 3 hours, and I guess they really liked us because they invited us to stay at her brothers house and attend the festival. We arrived at about noon and got to know thw family. Now her brothers contribution to sell at the festival was called Firewater, it was basically a quick brew vodka made with sugar water, and dangerously tasted like water. Well I occasionally have a drinking problem where if I have a few drinks I do not stop. So he was giving us firewater all afternoon. Nighttime came and his newphew and friends came and were all going out to the bars. For the festival all of the bars are open for 24 hours. So I went out already drunk as a skunk. Well I blacked out.

The next thing I know I wake up on the beach next to a bonfire, and there is a sweet girl sitting there with me. She tells me I was really drunk and had lost my wallet, which had my money, passport and a few other crucial things to be in another country. I sure do have some great guardian angels. So she brought me to get me some coffee and even invited me to her house for some breakfast.

Well even though I had lost my wallet, I still had my digital camera! Oh boy, lets see what pictures I took. Well there was about 20 pictures of me stark naked and soaking wet from having jumped into the ocean with my hands in the air next to a bonfire of people.

We attended the festival that day, I didn't have anymore firewater though! I tried some of the foods, but most were not up my alley. I ran into some friends I had met along the way. Then the next day the reality set in, of crap. I had no passport! Well I did a bit of research and found out the American Consulate was going to be in a town a few hours to the south east in just 3 days, and that only happens once a year!

So we headed further south, and we got picked up pretty quick by a UPS style truck. He did the 10 hour round trip up and down the isloated coast everyday, so we got to ride in the back with the packages, boy he drove fast on those winding roads! We got dropped off in Queensland and had a dip in a glacial lake and then we parted way and I caught a bus to get a new passport. Phew. Talk about a synchronistic disaster. Luckily I had opened a bank account in New Zealand so all my money wasn't in my wallet. Now..where to next?

Ok, I'm done with the nightmare medication. I found no particular relief from the nightmares and the side effects of headaches and low mood made it a no-go. My husband will just have to endure as he faithfully has for the last 44 years. My kids are recommending medical cannabis and I keep saying "not yet". It's even less scientific than pharmaceuticals.

I think cannabis has such a social stigma around it because it has been illegal for most of our lives. If you look back into medical literature at what point doctors actually did prescribe it for various uses. I have never looked at them, but I know there has been a lot of scientific studies on its effects. I won't go into why it is now illegal most places, but I'll say its not because its a dangerous drug. I am not sure what state you are in, but if your state has medical and if you do decide to try it, get a product called Phoenix Tears, it is an extract that doesn't get you high like it would if you smoke it, it instead will give more of the medical benefits of the plant. A guy named Rick Simpson claims to have cured many people of cancer with it. The only personal story I know is my sisters dog got cancer and had the tumor removed and the doc said she still won't live much longer. So they changed her diet and started giving her phoenix tears everyday, she has been cancer free for 2 years now.

I don't smoke anymore, but I remember when I stopped that I started having really intense vivid dreams.

I'm not saying you should try it, as like a pharmaceutical it is a drug and will not neccesarily cure the problem.

Hello I've been enjoying this fire for a while. I thought I would make eye contact and nod an introduction, give a bit of warmth back. My name's Matthew.
