An interesting and timely discussion, ulli and transiten. If you have a “moment” (ha ha), I’ve just posted my latest submission on just how big the lie really is. I am using “moment” in the timeless, mechanical sense of leverage. It may involve quite a long moment in time, but as the degree of leverage depends on the length of your lever, that should be no problem.
    https://projectavalon.net/forum4/show...=1#post1027465
Wow! That was a piece of masterwork! One thing I didn't know was that the Liberation Theologists were Jesuits. I was actually somewhat involved as I was singing Latin American liberation songs when all the Chileans came here and we cooperated with a priest who was rather radical hiding fugtifs in the church even cooking there.

Also didn't know that about Perez de Cuellar, a son of his has two sons with a Peruvian friend of mine.

What i didn't get is if you mean the Moon landing was fake? What I've heard is that they took some photos in Steven Spielbergs studio if the Moon landing should fail and they also used some of these pictures for the media.
    Thank you transiten
Did they go to the Moon? Maybe they did, maybe they didn’t. I don’t need to be sure. It may have been the real bit used as a hook to pin on the other stuff. The indications are ambiguous. The astronauts have memories but don’t talk about them; they have forgetfulness, but don’t talk about that either. According to Jay Weiden, it was Kubrick, not Spielberg, and he sees the same front-screen projection in the Moon photos as in 2001, one effect of which Hoagland took for miles-high glass towers…
Next out, Mars: you have guys like Andy Basiago, who seems to be recalling implanted memories. Henry Deacon, we don’t know the status of his claims and there is really no way of finding out. As for taking ET home, that could be anything, including some joke someone overheard wrong. But you get the idea: there is a grain of truth at bottom and a bunch of lies at the top end, the exact tipping point is not cut and dried.

The thing is, most people don’t have a “need to know”; it has no practical use for them one way or the other. This is what I meant in quoting Jamesian pragmatism here: https://projectavalon.net/forum4/show...=1#post1027519
In contrast, alternative media followers tend to think that they have a “need to know”, and preach to other people that they do too. And a whole lot of it is half-truths, or outright fiction, as Mike is saying. I tend not to be bothered because, as I said, I don’t need this stuff, except to play around with it. But for others who do, I agree it can be a problem.

The Perez de Cuellar story is straight from Greer. I have no idea if it’s true in any objective sense. Simply, it is consistent with his basic thesis, which in turn is consistent with what I was trying to put forward; in other words it rings pragmatically true for me.

    Quoting Aracauria from: https://projectavalon.net/forum4/show...=1#post1027519

Quote William James explains his Pragmatic philosophy as follows:
Quote Pragmatism, on the other hand, asks its usual question. “Grant an idea or
belief to be true,” it says, “what concrete difference will its being true
make in anyone’s actual life? How will the truth be realized? What experiences
will be different from those which would obtain if the belief were
false? What, in short, is the truth’s cash-value in experiential terms?”
The moment pragmatism asks this question, it sees the answer: True ideas
are those that we can assimilate, validate, corroborate and verify. False
ideas are those that we cannot. That is the practical difference it makes to
us to have true ideas; that, therefore, is the meaning of truth, for it is all
    that truth is known-as.
This thesis is what I have to defend. The truth of an idea is not a stagnant
property inherent in it. Truth happens to an idea. It becomes true, is made
true by events. Its verity is in fact an event, a process: the process namely
of its verifying itself, its verification. Its validity is the process of its validation.
Can you imagine the reaction were I, as a mod, to attempt to send someone on vacation for Archontic infection, rather than breaking the guidelines?

There is an odd thing that gives me hope (ruminating on Ulli's Haifa dream post, that it will take a long time before we end war).

Quote During the 1950s, macaques on the island of Koshima learned to wash sweet potatoes and explicitly passed this skill onto younger members of the group.
According to Watson and Blair, this behaviour then spread and was observed on neighbouring islands among groups of macaques who had never seemingly come into contact with each other.
They chalked this up to the monkeys sharing a collective consciousness, often referred to as a ‘shared mind’ or ‘hive mind’, in which the practices were shared telepathically.
A similar practice was more recently observed among blue tits. This time the skill the birds taught themselves was to break into milk bottles and drink the cream from the top.

Blue tits are said to have a collective consciousness. Birds in the UK taught themselves to break into milk bottles and drink the cream from the top, pictured. Similar groups of the same species exhibited the same skills in other countries throughout Europe and Asia. This was despite the groups never meeting
Although the practice was first observed in Southampton in 2011, similar groups of the same species exhibited the same skills in other countries throughout Europe and Asia. This was despite the groups never meeting and the birds being non-migratory.
A science journal in 2010 published claims made by Professor Daryl Bem, a physicist from Cornell University, that he had proved humans have similar psychic abilities supposedly seen in the birds and monkeys.

Take Gripreaper for example. Clearly a very smart man. A funny man. A warm man. But, and i'll say this as delicately as possible, not the most stable of fellows emotionally. You might even say delusional. Not too long ago, on this very thread, he was declaring himself the go between, between humanity and the lost city of Atlantis..he knew where the lost crystals were, and he'd bring them forth when commissioned by the dead spirits of atlantis etc etc (I'm paraphrasing). Anyway, total nonsense. It was disappointing, but the bigger disappoinment was this: NO ONE SAID A WORD ABOUT IT. Not only that, but some people actually "thanked" it. I sat back and hoped someone would say something, anything, to restore my waning faith in humaity...but no, it didnt happen. I considered writing a post myself, but coming from me it would hardly matter, it would just be another case of the doubting thomas "not getting it" or something. And even more than that, I like Grip and I didnt want to hurt his feelings. And i'll bet a few others felt the same, which makes me wonder:
Quote NO ONE SAID A WORD ABOUT IT.
You covered a lot of ground there, Mike. There’s probably more misses than hits in my response. And damn, re-reading your post, I see I'm more off the mark. I'll post anyway. Cuz I don't want to not say a word.

Many people, many realities. Fortunately, I’ve had enough weird (and welcomed) experience to know it’s possible that what others perceive may be true or at the very least is true for them.

Where I am today on the whole, “Was I Jesus or was I not?” All past/present/future experience is power-packed right here and right now. My journey is to tap it.

I’ve only had one past life regression. It was with an inexperienced person. In present life, I stammered when I was young and it lessen by my early 20’s as long as I wasn’t stressed.

The past life took place in the 1800’s. I was a young boy who lived on a farm with his mom. He was deaf and mute. There was no connection between he and his mom. Partly because of his disabilities and partly because she shouldered all of the responsibility for the chores. The mom in that life is the same mom in this one.

It wasn’t long after that discovery, the stammer lessened to the point of nonexistence. One other note was that the boy looked like my son, blonde, blue-eyed. And that past live regression took place before he was born.

Lastly, as for the outside interferences? There’s two points:

In terms of the AI and dark energies, I was happy to have a name for what I experience when that wave infiltrates at family gatherings, particularly when two siblings are present. The part of me that pays attention sees and feels that wave blanket us. I ward-off the ickies as best I can.

The second point is as part of my journey it is my responsibility to walk with awareness. Ideally, I chuck the straight-jacket beliefs and stay open to new thought and ideas. What I’m noticing is it’s mostly about nixing the limiting beliefs.

I’d like to believe I don’t create many dramas, but I still get pulled into them. Here comes the damn disclaimer...

Had a busy day and could only skim araucaria's essay.
A ton of stuff came to mind but without taking notes were quickly forgotten.
All I can recall now is that he mentioned the Skolnick Reports, which I used to read years before I found Avalon.
Court reporter from Chicago and a brave man. Brilliant, in fact.
And warned the world about Rahm Emanuel.
Will read your epistle again tonight, araucaria.

You brought up a good point here, transiten.
Personally, I have nothing against people bringing up delicate issues in the Village living room.
Even if they are no longer ok for discussion outside in the rest of the forum.
That is because I know that us Villagers are pretty cool headed people.
Also, most of us are hermits, used to operating alone, and don't form intense codependent relationships.

What I believe Bill has experienced in person is the triggering of preprogrammed people, and how such people can then infect the rest of the forum. So he and his team are believers in quarantine measures.

I myself have over the years of investigating Internet sites become at times infected by false info.
And in my ignorance of the consequences shared those false ideas with family members.
I can't tell you how much I now regret doing that.

An example, what type of explosives were used to bring down the WTC towers? There was so much disinformation planted there, that the final answer is still pending. One theory after the other was debunked.
I lost all credibility in the eyes of my son. This is the outcome of such debates, when false stuff is being spouted.

Corey lost credibility here in a similar way. He may well have been fed such a lethal mix of truth and falsehood that he really became a human weapon. And we all know that DW is not too concerned with absolute truth, but with statistics of his fame expansion.
The second argument I have with the Corey case ...his reaction to being questioned by Bill. I read his and his wife's stuff after that and must say they both were incredibly outraged, and went all over the Internet bitching against Avalon. Massive over-reaction.
Although later on, when Avalon discovered that the Ruiner was not for real either, he (Ruiner) managed to keep going a bit longer, simply _because_ he was so calm and polite.
Yet it was all lies, stuff he had been reading and presented as real, then admitted none was real, then presented it again as real- typical of someone who wants to confuse the masses, and thinks it's all a big joke.
Is this right, in view of the seriousness of what is happening on our planet?

And all those lies are out there now, being lapped up by young awakening souls who are now coming under fire by their spouses and family members, and as a result untold disunity is growing all over the world.

So I see it as a good sign that the Avalon management are being more careful in their attempts of containing the disinformation virus. And since it has already spread so far that even our best members are showing signs of losing their reasoning power, of surprise attacks against Bill and the mods, of incredible anger tantrums, we are really in an emergency situation.
    Don't you agree?

    Some solid wisdom here...

ive got a delicate topic(s) to broach. It has to do with externalizing (a word I got from you Ulli..so thanks!). And it has to do with delusion. And also, as Transiten says "the elephant in the room". And then it has to do with Gripreaper...and finally it has to do with all of us as a group.

I'm not sure how literally to take your term 'disinformation virus', but to me it suggests a deliberate and malevolent movement by an outside force to confuse and antagonize us..or anyone seeking the truth. Perhaps this type of thing exists. Perhaps it doesnt. I often wonder about the damage we might be doing by externalizing these issues...and the issue we have now, which you referred to above, is this thing with Bill and Christine of course, and also how certain members are reacting, namely, Gripreaper.

It seems to me, that whenever there is some drama on the forum, we usually find a way to blame some outside force or forces. Its black ops, archons, star positions and so forth. I'm not disregarding these things entirely, theres validity there on occasion...but it's as if, at times, we all go suddenly blind to the simple, true explanation staring us right in the face...

How much damage are we doing to ourselves and the forum at large when we let respected members carry on with their fiction without calling them out on it? This whole Grip thing doesnt surprise me at all. I wasnt caught off guard, and I don't consider it a surprise attack....because ive been reading his posts for years and something is just a little off there...

But it's hard to say that to people we like...the plain truth. In this example I gave, I couldnt bring myself to do it. So we go on blaming archons or A.I. or whatever. It's easier in the short term and doesnt hurt anyones feelings...but in the long run, enabling and even encouraging these fictions acts as a cancer, the beginning of a tumor or something, and gets us in the long run...tenfold!

to me, these obvious fictions are the "elephant in the room", the cancers that could kill the forum. Delusions can be fun and serve short term purpose, but are deadly in the long run. If we decide to tolerate them, we have no outside source to blame for the consequences. If we continue to blame fiction for the fiction we ourselves create or tolerate, then there is no hope at all. What we're seeing on the forum now is simply a symptom of that, in my opinion.
Tolerating means that there is the chance of reaching a limit, unlike approval or appreciation.

But each of us have different tolerance thresholds and at certain times more than others.
So who is to say when that limit is reached?

Some people post under the influence of drink or drugs and if it happens only once in a while one lets it go.
After the second or third incidence one might raise an eyebrow, after the fifth the first remark.
Then the lecturing, then reporting to mods, and finally comes the straw that breaks the camel's back.
I just like to give a long leash, the way Bill does.
I also have read some of Paul's raised eyebrow comments and am trying to emulate him.

Epistle’s a good word. I took araucaria’s advice and make a document. It’s 10 pages in length in a font size of 14 pt, and a word count of 4,738.

Still reading. Cuz, I add purty hi-light colors and font sizes.

As for what grip said, I had no idea what to make of it either. But I left it for something that might be more clear later. The initial impression... was as if he touched cloth while in a church elevator, and everyone studiously avoided the whole episode. (just trying to make Mike spit his beer on the monitor)

I do note it was a response to my released practical information on the basics behind making a dimensional gating crystal.

Here comes the damn disclaimer...

sure, but there was also the time he claimed to have walked with jesus....claimed to be a holy bodhisattva of some sort etc. i mean the list goes on here

i can see youre softening the blow here a little, and its out of your innate kindness no doubt...which is a wonderful quality you have that i admire but can't quit emulate..

yes, different people, different realities...but when those realities become increasingly ego based and frequent and outlandish, don't we have some sort of responsibility here to say something? thats not a rhetorical question, by the way...i'm interested in your thoughts.

its not just Grip, either. there are others. we all know who they are.

is it their realities, as you say..or are they just flat out lying? or are they delusional? and if so, how far should we allow them to go before we say "enough"...as their previously harmless fantasies begin to water down and damage the structural integrity of the forum?

once in a while we get a thread here, something like 'how can we improve avalon?' but its always a little vague and lacking in detail. well, in my opinion, this is whats wrong with it - too many people spewing fiction. and how do we know the difference between harmless realities and flat out lies or delusion? for me, the latter is soaked in ego...

i'm a work in progress too. we all are. but does that excuse us from just inventing sh!t and presenting it as the truth? again, not a rhetorical question.....interested in your thoughts, as i know they will cause me to see this from another, probably deeper angle..

p.s. regarding drama, i think thats why we came to this earth plane...for a little action! i really do. my guess is that theres very little mixing it up on the other side(s), and we tend to miss it a little
