(NaturalNews) Bill Gates is promoting a plan to use wireless technology to register every newborn on the planet in a vaccine database.

In a keynote address to the mHealth Summit, which focuses on using mobile technology to improve health care, Gates said that improving survival rates among children under the age of 5 would benefit not just individual families, but societies and the planet as a whole.

"The key thing, the most important fact that people should know and make sure other people know: As you save children under 5, that is the thing that reduces population growth," he said. "That sounds paradoxical. The fact is that within a decade of improving health outcomes, parents decide to have less children."

The number of children who die before their fifth birthday has already dropped from 20 million in 1960 to 8.5 million today, a statistic Gates attributes mostly to vaccination.

"About one-third [of that improvement] is by increasing income," Gates said. "The majority has been through vaccines. Vaccines will be the key. If you could register every birth on a cell phone -- get fingerprints, get a location -- then you could [set up] systems to make sure the immunizations happen."

Gates suggested using cell phones to record each birth and send the information, including biometric identifiers, to a central database. This database would then send reminders to parents' phones when it was time to come in for vaccines or other treatments. He said a prime location to implement such programs would be northern Nigeria or northern India, where vaccination rates are less than 50 percent.

Acknowledging that registering every single birth has never been done before, Gates called for "1,000 new ideas" to "blossom" in order to make it happen.

Such ideas could conceivably involve using the GPS devices inside phones to physically track parents who do not bring their children in for vaccines.

Gates also called for use of mobile technology to implement more continuous monitoring of vaccine supply chains.

Well isnt that website a ray of joy! From what I have read it seems very skewed, not surprisingly having its own agenda.

But how many of us would not be here had it not been for vaccines? In this modern world we have become ignorant to the cured diseases of the past and spared the great suffering of infant mortality.

Yes, they've gotten to him. No one gets that much money, or gets to the highest offices of corporate or government power, unless those more powerful can control them.

rubella. measles, mumps, chickenpox - had them all... you get sick, then you get well. If you dont get well, then perhaps it was meant to be. I would rather die or lose a child to illness, than to being part in pumping it full of **** chemicals and then seeing/feeling the suffering. I remember when my younger siblings had one of the above, mothers with young kids would come visit, so that thier kids could get the illness. it was in the 60's and very usual practice.

You get bitten by a rabbid dog, its teeth have punctured your arm and you are bleeding. Do you seek medical help and the vaccine or do you let yourself succomb to rabies and die a slow, painful death putting your family, friends and the public at risk from the same fate?

Are you saying as a parent you would you rather lose your child to illness? As a parent I believe I am qualified to talk about being a responsible parent and if my daughter contracted a terminal or severely debilitating illness, there is nothing I wouldnt do to prevent that. What would you do?

You missed the point.

And I guess you missed mine. Could be an issue with language, since i´m from another part of the world.
Bottom line is, that in most cases the medcine offered makes peoples condition even worse. Take cancer treatment for instance, its really the stoneage there. Vaccines is a trojan horse at worst. I reread your post, and understand it better now BTW.

Have children at home.. Affidavit of birth filed at county seat... Thats what I did. No birth certificate to be traded on the stock market, no social security number, and not responsible for imagined debt.
Tough way to go, I admit, but will be worth it.. If the child grows up wanting to "join the club" its not because I "commited" him into it..
Decide what vaccines if any needed. Choose only those the child could benefit from. I haven't needed to do any yet. No need for one size fits all.
