Are you afraid to speak out?
This is the era of technological advances beyond what we could have imagined 30 years ago. Personal information is available to anyone with a little curiosity, a few bucks and a PC.
I was shopping for Auto Insurance a while back and was blown away that a perfect stranger I talked to on the phone about an insurance quote had immediate access to my credit score, home address and names of others living in the household, a list of accidents and tickets on my record and probably a lot more.
A while back I went to the ER . I had never been there before, I was surprised that they had a computer program that exchanged medical information with pharmacies, doctors and other hospitals. So much for confidentiality.
The amount of personal information that is readily available for the masses to see is mind blowing, imagine what is available to the government with a little help from AI. If an individual draws attention from the government in any way, it would be very easy to mine for more details.
I am wondering if my observation is correct. It seems to me that there is more apprehension to participate in discussions online that may involve speaking out against the government.
In a nutshell, I am curious to hear if PA members do any self censoring or if they curtail involvement in conversations that could raise red flags. I would like a little soul searching before you answer, really think about it.
