    David Cameron was caught humming a little ditty after announcing his immediate departure from Downing Street, probably just massacring some pop tune running through his head like an ‘ear worm’, as it’s called. Suddenly everyone is elaborating wild theories about what it is, each doing what they do best. You even have a serious composer composing a serious piece... and this forum poster (me) making this forum post

    The whole world is totally out of control, which is very bad news for the controllers among us, who particularly hate conspiracy theories. Why? Because they are true? No, precisely because they cover every possible shade of wildly, uncontrollably creative. They would like us to be scared, but are greeted with hilarity. And the laughter is even more infectious than the fear.

    That's just brilliant! Thanks for sharing. Now I have a new ear worm.

    Ive always had an innate fear of gas stations. It dates back to the very first time I put gas in a vehicle. For some reason I was terribly nervous. Back then, at this station anyway, you could pump first and pay after. So thats what I did.. pumped in $5 ( I had very little cash as a 17 yr old ) ..and then approached the man inside the mini mart to pay. Ive never forgotten what he said after I handed him the bill, which was this: "goin on vacation boss?"

    He and 2 of his pals laughed casually. I was too dumb and green to understand I was being made fun of, but I laughed too, mostly out of nervousness. But this wasn't the end of my humiliation...

    After the transaction had taken place I just stood there like a statue, I think expecting change. The guy looked a bit confused and asked if there was anything else I needed. "My change" I said meekly. He said "you pumped $5 worth of gas." "Yes" I said. And he said "you just gave me $5..."

    I stood there frozen, unable to make any sense of the obvious. Then, as if on cue, one of his pals said "so give the kid his change!" They all laughed uproariously. Me, I walked outta there slowly...still unsure of what had just happened.

    I was officially traumitized

    So this brings me up to the present. Ive always liked to pretend gas isnt a real expense...so ive continued my habit of pumping in relatively small amounts. Its a process that only hurts me, but I find it cunning.

    ...so today I go to put $5 of gas in my car (i'm out of work and more or less broke). I approach the attendant and hand him the dough and the guy says to me: "goin on vacation boss?"

    ..here I am, almost 25 years later, still with less than $10 in my pocket and having other grown men call me "boss". And I still get a little nervous when I pay for gas. I havent come very far. To add insult to injury, I actually had a nicer car back then.

    "So give the kid his change!" Ive been driving around all day thinking about this quote, in my decade old car with the broken air conditioning, sweating profusely and laughing my ass off...watching in horror as my gas gauge sinks slowly left..feeling around my pockets for any loose bills I may have forgotten about. This occured to me too: i'm virtually unhireable. Ive been off the books for years...ive either worked for myself or done something under the table. I'm like an antiquated cowboy..running out of places to run and hide. The world has changed - one quick google search will quickly reveal that all my former "jobs" are made up bullsh!t, that my references are nonsense...

    "Goin on vacation boss?"..maybe i'm a little punchy from the stress and the heat, but I can't stop laughing at that

    A professional farrier decided to take his vacation on our island and will be flying in tonight, we put him up in a friends hotel (trade out, she gives us the room for 2 nights, we give her horse tours) & since he's going to be working on our horses all day Wednesday I guess I *HAVE* to take him out to my favorite restaurant tonight...

    such a chore entertaining people.. this is exactly why I get almost no projects done around the .. uhh, ranch? farm?

    Anyway, just a small example of how easy the "greymarket" is; barter your way to a better life!

    I went home at lunch and he's almost done.. he reshaped & cleaned up 21 horses (plus one donkey, that's 88 feet!) in 5 hours. Not bad at all (I'm sure my wife gave him zero breaks... haha)

    we'll have to take him out to another dinner tonight again.... gotta butter him up to make sure he'll come back later and do it again (though he's already said he would)

    We have a dog-pig (normal "pig" that thinks she's a dog since she was raised with them) that runs around our yard, we had to lock her in the house because she wouldn't leave him alone while he was working with the horses... then she got her head stuck in the metal gates on our front door while I was home at lunch... its crazy how loud pigs can get; I'm sure we left at least SOME sort of impression on him just from that.

    The guy who's doing our Fairer work was in a similar situation. His last unemployment ckeck ran out and he looked around at his surroundings and realized there were a LOT of horses around him; took a class for horse foot care and he's been his own employer for the last 5 years.

    Take a look around, maybe there's a need that you can fill

    Hey TargeT, now you know why I favor the basic income!. Yes, some selfish motivation there...I.confess

    Oddly enough, there are horses everywhere here in central NY as well. Horse foot care, eh? I'm going to look into that right now. Seriously. Thx for the tip.

    he said he loves it, makes his own hours and regularly takes trips down the Caribbean, which he wasn't able to do before... see if there are any farriers advertising in your area and maybe stop and ask a horse owner who does their shoe work.. it's a constantly needed thing & if you get good at it you can correct issues with gait and all other things; plus market your self right in the "better areas" of NY and you'll make INSANE $$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

    Did you know there are horse CHIROPRACTORS? yeah I was shocked too... but we had one come down and adjust some of our horses (she was here on vacation already).

    Horses aren't cheap to own, not everyone who does has money but a L O T do.

    System change is happening. Dual processes are at work, those of disintegration, and the formation of new communities.
    I guess we all can agree here that bloddy revolutions don't work. Nor does Dennis advocate such.
    But he does say to remove all members of the elite from power.
    How is that going to happen if they are the ones controlling the biggest guns?

    The Bahai Faith was the 19th century equivalent of the Reset Button Movement, and Baha'is were forming small communities in as many countries as possible, no clergy allowed, with the aim of later forming enough National Spiritual Assemblies to be able to hold the first election of the International administrative body, The Universal House of Justice.
    It was first elected in 1963, in London. It's seat is on Mount Carmel in Haifa, Israel. Elections are via secret ballot, and anyone over 21 years of age can vote. Should vote. A brilliant system, to replace the current sets of governing systems.
    Introduced in Iran, in the form of religious revelation.

    So why did I drop out? Same reason why I won't try and set up a Reset Button movement here in Costa Rica...
    Not that it isnt needed.

    But none of this will work until a completely new set of humanity has come about.
    Where all individuals are caring enough to take part in community life, without leading some sort of secret double existence.
    To get to that level will take a little longer, Im afraid.
    Lots and lots of local meetings, with meditation sessions and potlucks and dance, even.

    To suggest that only the elite is corrupt, and all others are innocent, as we often see implied here at Avalon, is naive.
    I admit that the effects of elite corruption is more widespread, as they hold more power over the masses, via media deception games, police brutality, and distraction games, but I would not want to see some animal torturing kid nor plastic surgery obsessed female replacing anyone in Washington overnight.
    Ulli, playing the waiting game.

    I mentioned back June 30th some of the things I tossed such as alternative healing apparatus. I had a RE-mind that it’s within and it’s what I put in, i.e, food, movement and beliefs.

    Too, I made a decision to stop buying into the alt-community drama. It programs. I follow some to keep abreast. I don’t loose sleep over the things I cannot change. That’s the best way I help humanity.

    I RE-membered I alway land on my feet because I follow through with the creative flashes no matter how crazy to the outside world.

    Still tossing out stuff since that June 30th post.

    lots of “I’s up there

    Pluto square is a real run down....

    As for horses, they can be like 1200lb wallflowers, so I hope you can keep them calm. It usually takes some time to develop the correct mentality to be around many different horses.

    ~~~~~~~~~
    Of course, my experiences involved being around a trained wildcat, essentially. A western riding champion horse. Like a retired prizefighter spiraling out of control, with none of his old boundaries and workouts to bleed off the energy. Probably the toughest first horse to possibly deal with (the most wrong first horse you could ever arrive at), but I had no idea of that at the time. His idea of a normal day was to lock'n'load.... and go out there... and beat the crap out of the world --with all the dials turned to 11.
    My life tends to be like that, in everything.
    Interestingly enough, approximately 150-200 years ago I would have more likely seen it as being given the gift of the best damn biological car in the frikin' universe, one so awesome that money could not buy it, as they came in lots of custom built singles. Single unit unique perfections of the highest order. Like dealing with an Arabian sheik with a stable of 500-1000 horses...and he comes up to you and says, 'this is my finest horse', and he gifts it to you.
    To suggest that only the elite is corrupt, and all others are innocent, as we often see implied here at Avalon, is naive.
    I admit that the effects of elite corruption is more widespread, as they hold more power over the masses, via media deception games, police brutality, and distraction games, but I would not want to see some animal torturing kid nor plastic surgery obsessed female replacing anyone in Washington overnight.
    Ulli, playing the waiting game.
    Funny, I woke up this morning thinking about what's the allegory for these tales of bloodsucking critters like Dracula infecting other individual into their bloodsucking habits by contagion... ? Psychopaths and their minions! You know... "like-minded" individuals... mass "hysteria"... as long as such phenomena are left without remedy, good luck with improving the "human condition."
    Quite a Rubik's polyhedron (8+ sides) to solve while waiting... because, as Carmody summarizes, it's a quest of finding a definite set of tests to detect with 100% certainty that an individual is a die hard psychopath to, first, remove such individuals from power positions; second, prevent any such arrivistes to even be able to access such positions and, third, "rehabilitating" any of them into being a "human being."
    Sabres and swords wieldings, firing squads, guillotines (Bastille Day, here and now) applied to the "elite" only displace/postpone the problem into sending those individuals on a quest for new bodies to incarnate into and continue their unfinished business... hence the "rehabilitation" conundrum: how to "reform" a free-willed, sovereign being into a social, "human" frame of mind?
    That brings up the topic of, first, how to "trap" such individuals long enough for rehabilitation and, second how to rehabilitate such? (keeping in mind that these individuals consider it is "humans" who are in need of being rehabilitated into bloodsucking creatures...)
    For the jailable ones (trapped into a body) there are all sorts of "mind control" techniques available... the problem is that mind-control is usually short term and wears out after a number of years or lifetimes. Hence, the problem of researching and finding a true and effective, efficient deprogramming method remains.
    For the non-jailable ones (departed, discarnated, out of body), it seems some "ETs" have mastered such art of trapping/abducting free floating beings and submit them to their brand of "rehabilitation"/mind control. From statistics, it seems that most "humans" are most unhappy with such enforced programming and a true, effective and efficient deprogramming method is still in dire need of discovery and implementation...
    So: How to deprogram a programmed individual without resorting to another, additional, enforced programming?
    Not an easy question to solve on a planet where "life" as it is expressed in living organisms is built around a "digestive system" of one sort or another and which is designed to promote the survival of its particular brand of "digestion" (AKA "Food Chains").
    Time to get up and be well, letting our own body do the healing, the way it was designed.
    I mentioned back June 30th some of the things I tossed such as alternative healing apparatus. I had a RE-mind that it’s within and it’s what I put in, i.e, food, movement and beliefs.
    Too, I made a decision to stop buying into the alt-community drama. It programs. I follow some to keep abreast. I don’t loose sleep over the things I cannot change. That’s the best way I help humanity.
    I RE-membered I alway land on my feet because I follow through with the creative flashes no matter how crazy to the outside world.
    Still tossing out stuff since that June 30th post.
    lots of “I’s up there
    "Lots of Is up there, means you are on the right track. To me, anyway.
    The right track means you know how to speak for yourself.
    Sure, sometimes it is appropriate to say "we", but in the alt community it is too often overdone. Also this is what is wrong with the various New Age philosophies.
    The hardest part to get people to understand is that 'we' (humanity) are moving to a common identity WITHOUT giving up our individual identity.
    The human body serves as a good metaphor, with its trillion cells, each one fulfilling specific functions. If all those cells started speaking as a whole, or on behalf of the whole, the body would turn into mush, or jello.
    Or simpler still, the tree, with its trunk, branches, twigs, leaves, blossoms, fruits, seeds.
    One tree, yet separate parts, all connected.
    Thank you Paula, I shall correct the link in my first post.
    It was an attempt at humor of course, but after watching the Tour de France for about 35 years, it was quite surreal to see the yellow jersey, running up the mountain.
    Especially since we did not see what happened leading up to the running (the accident that caused him to loose the bike).
    It kind of fits in my overall impression of what is happening in the world lately. ..... Surreal.
    Surreal and brilliant.
    It's that kind of thinking outside the box that demonstrates an alternative to lamenting, "Why, oh why, me?"
    My answer to this is to teach all kids the Golden Rule, and also the idea of Common Sense.
    And by teachers I mean parents, school teachers, neighbors, extended family members.
    Because at the core those two teachings allow for both- individual development progressing alongside community development.
    BOTH.
    The desire for freedom has meant that societal elements which wish to entrap people are working overtime, and by using people's ignorance of how their own body/mind/soul combo works, are being rather successful.
    As long as people remain stuck in the belief that their lower instincts are their the dominant driver, their real identity, and carry on with that path, and disregard morality as being a construct of the religious teachings which they are rejecting, the future of mankind looks rather grim.
