Despite what the MSM 'Fake News' is doing in criticizing Donald Trump over his claims of 'Voter Fraud', this looks like another one of those 'things' where it will end up showing that Trump is right once again!

    For example, Politifact has stated:

The U.S. Border Patrol alters statistics involving the apprehension of criminal illegal immigrants to conceal that thousands are being released, a new federal audit reveals. The frontline Homeland Security agency charged with preventing terrorists and weapons—including those of mass destruction—from entering the country also skews figures to drastically deflate the high recidivism rate of aliens caught entering the U.S.

The distressing details of this crucial agency’s crafty record-keeping practices are outlined in a scathing report issued this month by the investigative arm of Congress, the Government Accountability Office (GAO). The probe focuses on a Border Patrol system developed to address a smuggling crisis along the southwest border. It’s officially known as Consequence Delivery System (CDS) and is used to identify the most effective and efficient consequences to deter illegal cross border activity in each of the agency’s sectors. For the system to work, the Border Patrol must report accurate information involving illegal aliens who are apprehended.

Instead, it appears that federal agents on the ground are being ordered to fudge the numbers as part of a broader Obama administration effort to protect illegal immigrants and falsely portray the Mexican border as safe. The GAO report suggests that Border Patrol headquarters directed agents to misclassify criminal illegal aliens, presumably to hide the fact that they were being released instead of prosecuted. Officials interviewed as part of the probe “said that agents received oral direction from headquarters to reclassify criminal aliens who cannot be given a consequence of federal prosecution, and that written data integrity guidance to sectors did not include activities for checking the accuracy of alien classifications,” the GAO report states.

The misclassification of apprehended illegal immigrants resulted in nearly 4,000 criminal aliens being returned to their home country rather than prosecuted between 2013 and 2015, the GAO found. After analyzing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) data, congressional investigators determined that an astounding 94% (109,080) of the 116,409 aliens given a consequence of warrant or notice to appear still had an open case and “may remain in the United States.” Thousands more escaped criminal prosecution because they were not properly classified. “Specifically, of the approximate 15,000 apprehensions of criminal aliens who were not classified according to CDS guidance between fiscal years 2013 and 2015, 8 percent were recommended for criminal prosecution (3,912 apprehensions) compared to 47 percent of all criminal aliens during that timeframe,” the GAO writes.

In some cases, Department of Justice (DOJ) restrictions limit the number of illegal aliens that can be referred for prosecution, the report says. This leaves agents in a bind and hesitant to apply consequences that require referral to federal partners. Here’s an example:
“Rio Grande Valley sector officials said that while agents apprehended over 129,000 aliens in fiscal year 2015, the sector can only refer about 40 immigration-related cases each day to the corresponding USAO District (Southern District of Texas) for prosecution. Once this daily limit is reached, agents must apply an alternative consequence that is not the Most Effective and Efficient as defined by the CDS guide.”
Recidivism numbers are kept down by using an unscrupulous system that only classifies an apprehended illegal alien as recidivist if he or she had been previously caught within a fiscal year. The system doesn’t account for immigrants with no record of removal after apprehension and who may have remained in the United States without the opportunity to recidivate. The Border Patrol guidance also states that a first-time apprehension classification may be used on an alien that has been apprehended by another agency. Congressional investigators determined that the Border Patrol system slashed recidivism numbers in half. In one outrageous case cited in the report an “alien apprehended 54 times in the Rio Grande Valley sector between October 2012 and May 2015 was classified as a First Time Apprehension 6 times.”

    County Warns Employees
    to Protect Illegal Aliens
    Before Trump Inauguration

    JANUARY 23, 2017 | Judicial Watch
A day before the presidential inauguration, a major U.S. county slapped employees with a stern warning about their obligations under local sanctuary policies that protect illegal immigrants. In a two-page memo obtained by Judicial Watch, officials in San Francisco reminded all city and county workers of their duties under the county’s longtime measures shielding illegal aliens from deportation. It appears that the document was issued as a preemptive strike against President Donald Trump’s hardline on illegal immigration.

“All people seeking or receiving City services must be treated with equal dignity, respect for human rights, and due process under the law, regardless of immigration status,” the memo states. “This includes informing them of their rights and access to services, as well as giving out general and/or translated information on services and programs that is timely, accurate and complete.” The memo, issued on official City and County of San Francisco letterhead and disseminated by Human Resources Director Micki Callahan, acknowledges that federal law prohibits local government entities or officials from restricting information regarding the citizenship or immigration status of any individual.

Nevertheless, the Bay Area government document states that city and county employees acting in their official capacities may not use city funds or resources to assist or cooperate with any investigation, detention, or arrest procedures conducted by federal immigration authorities and relating to alleged violations of the civil provisions of federal immigration law. The new memo further outlines the other provisions of the county’s sanctuary statute, including forbidding workers from denying illegal aliens city or county benefits on the condition of immigration status and banning them from requesting or giving out information regarding the release status of an immigrant. San Francisco public employees are also prohibited from responding to a federal immigration officer’s request for notification of an individual’s release, presumably because they have been earmarked for removal.

“It’s important to make sure all City employees are aware of these rules,” the memo, which is dated January 19, 2017, states. “Departments may include education on the City’s sanctuary city laws in regular employee trainings and orientations based on templates that will be established by the Office of Civil Engagement and Immigrant Affairs (OCEIA).” San Francisco officials end the document by conceding that it’s not a substitute for legal advice and that “state and federal law may impose additional obligations.”

Just days before the memo was distributed an illegal immigrant with a drunk-driving conviction sued San Francisco city police and county sheriff for turning him into immigration authorities after his car got stolen. The man, Pedro Figueroa Zarceno, was convicted of driving drunk in 2012, a local newspaper reports, and has an outstanding warrant for his deportation from more than 10 years ago. In his lawsuit, Zarceno claims that he plans to file for asylum, citing violence in his native El Salvador. In the article his pro bono attorney said that Zarceno was the victim of a crime who should have been protected by San Francisco’s sanctuary ordinance. “With an incoming federal administration threatening mass deportations and targeting sanctuary cities,” the attorney, Saira Hussain said, “we must hold SFPD and the Sheriff’s Department accountable and ensure that every single officer is following the city’s due process protections.”

    I've seen many executive orders.

    A simple question.

Who is the oversight, who looks after those who implement, activate, carry out, who watches them?

I know some have said Trump "fascist" Trump "Hitler-esque". I can see that point of view ONLY being even remotely possible IF IF IF, there is no oversight of those carrying out the executive orders.. Lack of oversight, and it just seems to me, there could be some pretty strong ego's "acting out" being the "police force" let's say to enforce the border rules.. Who watches them, those police that they are not doing something excessively? Given ultimate authority to enforce, just how will that appear? Checks and balances?

Just asking who and what exactly will be the "oversight", and who watches those who are doing the over-sight-ing? What reporting mechanism exists if "something goes wrong"? Will the reports actually make it to President Trump, up the "chain of command?" President Trump assured the American public they will not be ignored, their voices heard. Will that happen with oversight - will that happen if there are let's say "police" that feel they have ultimate enforcement ability?

Same question could be asked to each executive order.. who is the oversight, and what methods do they have to actually accomplish, report "issues", and then get them resolved? IS it a smooth well oiled machine?

Just asking what keeps niggling at me..

Trump's only using the precedents set by presidents before him.

When we were bitching about what Obama and Bush were doing, what happened? Nothing. Obama "legalized" assassinating anyone, anywhere, for God's sake. Wikileaks even warned that Trump is taking that over now.

If people don't like what happens now then maybe they should have thought twice when they let Obama and Bush get away with the same powers.

Well lots of things should have happened that didn't. It doesn't mean we can't work towards making things better now. As long as we are allowed to have a voice, which with this new rulership doesn't look like something they like.

In the US, the most powerful voice is the vote. Along with this is the format for which these votes elect the officials who are supposed to carry out the will of the people as expressed by their votes. These officials are elected along the guidelines of this US Constitutional Republic. On November 8, 2016, these voices were not just heard, but were acted upon.

As for "voices" being heard since November 8, 2016... I have witnessed a plethora of "voices" being invited to converse with DJT and this has continued to this day on a pace that perhaps has never been equaled in history. I feel it is important that all voices be heard. I also feel that it is important that what voices have to say is effective. And its my opinion that for the "what" of what voices have to say, this "what" should be factual, detailed, pragmatic, realistic, goal oriented... with those goals well defined, priced out (budgeted) and that when all this has occurred, that this is all honestly reported to the public such that the public can then vote on it and that our politicians are held accountable for following through on the will of the people within the framework provided by the US Constitution that happens to protect these very voices in its very first amendment.

    Great Post and great questions.

As I read the post, I had this strange feeling about the implied underlying premise. That premise (assumption) is a theme that implies all and everything should be watched.

So I ask the question, where do we draw that line? However that line was created, it would be created by folks who then impose that line on everyone else (as long as they could and as long as that were their intention).

So here's what I am getting at... that which I believe to be of much greater importance with regards to "our experience."

Just in the simple two word phrase does an all important question arise. Who/what would make up the set described by the word "our?" I can only answer this for myself and that answer is - "all manifestation of life." I then consider the commonly known from my own perspective. What I perceive to be "commonly known" is that Earth born human beings are (at this time) the primary determiner of what happens on Earth which includes what happens to all life. If one perceives that all matter "is alive" then you include all physical manifestation that can be influenced by Earth human activity as within that simple three letter word "our."

Does anyone see the overwhelming amount of responsibility humans on Earth at this time possess? Think about this.

Now... think about the wants and desires of a single individual... perhaps think about yourself as an example. Think about your ideologies, think about what you feel is practical. Think about your ability to reconcile what is practical with your ideals. Think about how many times you felt you fell short in meeting your idealistic goals. Think of how many times you wished you had been more practical, "realistic" with regards to your own survival, your own physical wants and desires, your own emotional wants and desires.

Now, going back to the point with regards to the obvious and tremendous (yes... even overwhelming) responsibility a single human being has. During my process of self reflection the last several years I thought about all this. I then realized in practicality, I had to start somewhere. And that somewhere turned out to be, and to remain practical... pretty much in this order, my family, my loved ones, my friends, my community, my country, my world and then along these lines... those I pass on the street and those I may never meet.

Now (and I am still speaking only for myself), I had to ask myself in all honesty, what was my most important "possession" in relation to the word "experience" in the above cited two-word phrase, "our experience?" That answer for me is - Freedom.

So I could see that life was about a balance between freedom and responsibility. I cannot tell another something I am saying that essentially boils down to philosophy (and political philosophy) is universally right or universally true. All I can do is voice my opinions. Yet I also see that unless there is some sort of agreed upon framework through which opinions become guidelines within which a society that agrees upon its own boundaries creates and then tries to enforce, all we'll have (at least with this current batch of Earth humans of which I am one) is a bunch of voices that eventually scream at each other and I doubt anyone would disagree that a format such as that will accomplish nothing other than our own mutual self destruction.

So back to the point about freedom. Where do the boundaries of freedom and the boundary of protection of one's freedom to live, to do good for others (and one's self), to make mistakes... all to fulfill what for me is the very most rewarding aspect of the human experience, to feel good about myself that I do good for my family, my loved ones, my friends, my community, my country, my world, those I pass on the street and those I may never meet... where do we draw a line with regards to that boundary?

If the soul is to grow, how can it grow in an environment where every single aspect of one's life is massively regulated? And this statement doesn't even touch the question of "how is a soul to grow if one does not even have access to much of their own, independent, individuated mind?" Which is a question I would be happy to address albeit in a different post as I am sure this one is already far too long.
