The Pentagon recently admitted to the existence of a special program that
investigated reports of UFOs. The Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification
Program which began as part of the Defense Intelligence agency in 2007,
apparently ended in 2012.

Its not just TAX DOLLARS that are the big issue, what about all the WASTED LIVES and suffering people have been put through? that would have to be addressed. Think an amnesty should be called for, then it might actually start to see some light.

This is exciting to me. Not because this is news to any of us, but because this is a step in the right direction. I noticed that a few months ago the msm started slowly trickling in a noticeable increase in (vaguely) ET-related info. I should have bookmarked them all, as they came up every week. Started with little things, like how the possibility of interstellar travel isn't as impossoble as scientists admitted, or that there are more and more habitable planets being discovered, or how the unjverse is way bigger than we thought nit even a year ago. Then they upped the ante slightly, with that 'alien' comet, or the discovery of exotic bacteria on I believe the SS, and now, this...

I would agree that these ufo stories are unusual at the least. Both CNN and the ny times are carrying these articles citing a navy pilot's testimony, and not in a ridiculing nor condescending manner. Reminds me of bigelow himself recently saying in a sixty minutes interview that he KNOWS aliens are here. I share concerns that this could all be a setup for falseflag of some sort.

Certainly the dribble feed disclosure seems to be picking up speed. We will have to see how they try to spin this.

One thing that stood out to me in the CNN piece; they now identify the unknown as "threats" and then later they quote a pentagon spokesman as saying "...there were other, higher priority issues that merited funding."

So, they tell the public that they are something to be afraid of and then say that they are not paying attention to them anymore. They are manipulating the public to want the DODs to get involved in saving us from the unidentified threats.

The Pentagon has reportedly recovered metal alloys from unidentified flying objects that scientists "do not recognise”.

Materials, which are alleged to have “amazing properties”, are being stored in modified buildings in Las Vegas, the New York Times reports.

The US Department of Defence (DoD) has admitted to a secret $22m (£15m) programme, which ran between 2007 and 2012, that was tasked with investigating reports of UFOs.

“They have some material from these objects that is being studied, so that scientists can try to figure out what accounts for their amazing properties,” Ralf Blumenthal, one of the authors of the New York Times report, told MSNBC.

Mr Blumenthal said the DoD “do not know” what the materials are made of.

“It’s some sort of compound they do not recognise,” he added.

The Pentagon refused to comment when contacted by The Independent.

Researchers also studied people who claimed they had experienced physical effects from encounters with unidentified aerial phenomena, according to the New York Times.

A previously classified video released by the DoD shows Navy pilots reacting with astonishment after being sent to investigate a mysterious flying object as it hovered off the coast of San Diego.

This, and this most recent update, regarding Elizondo's statement that we may not be alone, support this disconcerting possibility.

Get a load of this :

"These aircraft — we'll call them aircraft — are displaying characteristics that are not currently within the U.S. inventory nor in any foreign inventory that we are aware of.. [...] Now does that mean it's 'out there'? Whether or not it's Russian or Chinese inside, or little green men from Mars, or frankly, your neighbor's dog, I wanted to purposely steer away from that [speculation], because I wanted to focus on truly the raw science: What were we seeing, and did it pose a threat to national security?"

Furthermore, later on in the article, there's a subheader that says the following :

"E.T. hunts by governments (and pop culture)"

I find the usage of the the word 'hunt' to raise the eyebrows. Interesting choice. To me, there's an almost subliminal message there, implying yet again that ETs are a threat, dangerous.

What does hunting make you think of ? Death. Killing. A hunter stalking his helpless prey, leaping in for the inevitable.

I mean, frankly, this article is teeming with concerning little tidbits peppered here and there. Secret government files we, until now, were ridiculed and labeled as crazy conspiratards for even entertaining are not only mentioned, but spoken about here.

And the final paragraph, to me, is also eerie.

"Alien life has also resurged in popular culture lately. The "Star Trek" and "Star Wars" franchises each premiered several movies in theaters in the past few years. In 2017 alone, "Star Wars" fans got to see "The Last Jedi"while Trekkies got an entire new TV series called "Star Trek Discovery." I nearly fell off my chair yesterday afternoon and evening when I heard CBC radio's program "The Current" actually treating UFO's, Aliens and the Pentagon Papers as something that was news worthy. They had Nick Pope (former British researcher for the defense department) and other notables on sharing information.

Maybe disclosure is going mainstream!
