Judge Arrested After FBI Descends on Texas District Court

The Federal Bureau of Investigation along with numerous law enforcement agencies including the Texas Rangers and the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office has now arrested a Democratic State District Judge in Texas in what's being described as a culmination of several month-long investigations into the Democratic Party's elite.

93rd State District Judge Rodolfo "Rudy" Delgado has been arrested as per a widespread investigation into the Democratic Party, and his offices in Hidalgo County.


Authorities also said they sent a strike team to Judge Rodolfo Delgado's home in Edinburg, Texas near the intersection of Schunior Street and Depot Road.

Local media outlet The Monitor reported that "dozens of FBI Special Agents descended upon the Judge's offices," included the 93rd State District Court in a scene that locals claim looks as if it were the climax to a mobster movie.

Texas Rangers and Hidalgo County Sheriff's Deputies can be seen alongside the Federal Bureau of Investigation removing trash bags full of evidence and plastic bins from both Delgado's home and the Judge's office.

Local media says that Delgado's office at the Hidalgo County Courthouse will require further warrants to seize any evidence.



FBI spokeswoman Michelle Lee confirmed agents were conducting law enforcement activity at the courthouse and said one person had been arrested.

"We are only confirming that an arrest has been made and not releasing additional details," Lee said.

Al Alvarez, who said he will be representing Delgado as his attorney in the case says the Judge had been arrested.

"Well, I think that's pretty obvious," Alvarez said when asked if the Judge had been taken into custody.

Hidalgo County Sheriff Eddie Guerra said further details about the case will be released on Monday, presumably after a warrant has been served at the courthouse to seize evidence in the criminal conspiracy.



The Texas Department of Public Safety has also confirmed they are assisting the FBI in the case, according to CBS 4.

The Brownsville Herald says that for months, rumors of a state judge facing a federal indictment had swirled around the courthouse's hallways and throughout the county.

Currently, Delgado is running for a place on the 13th Court of Appeals, and multiple sources close to the investigation said the judge was detained at the Falfurrias checkpoint while on his way to a campaign event outside the Rio Grande Valley.

Back in February of 2017, Delgado's son, former Hidalgo County Assistant District Attorney Ricco Diaman Delgado, was found dead in an Austin creek.

Before his death, the Judge's son had several run-ins with law enforcement as well, in what appears to be a crime family tied to Mafia dealings across Texas.

Although little has been confirmed, according to Breitbart Texas, it appears as of Monday we will know the full spectrum of charges laid out against the Democratic Party of Texas' Judge Rodolfo "Rudy" Delgado.

The sanctuary cities are a disgrace to the country! The full force of the DOJ should come down on them and cut off all federal funds to cities and states that want their own definition of ”following the law.” State officials who encourage these law breaking people to come to the state should be held accountable violating their oath of office.

Via The Daily Wire: “On Tuesday, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen told the Senate Judiciary Committee that she would be asking the Department of Justice to look into prosecuting officials in sanctuary cities. “The Department of Justice is reviewing what avenues may be available,” Ms. Nielsen told the Senate Judiciary Committee. President Trump has already threatened to withhold funding from sanctuary cities.

This strategy could actually bear legal fruit, according to Jessica Vaughan of the Center for Immigration Studies. She told The Daily Caller that, “a criminal case against a sanctuary official or government is possible, although probably as a last resort, after they have exhausted other options, and when the facts of the case are particularly egregious or concerning.” The governing statutes are typically used to prosecute human traffickers who hide illegal immigrants from federal detention; that law could theoretically be applied against local officials who refuse to detain illegal immigrants after a request from the federal government.”


Her confirmation came after California’s new sanctuary law went into effect Jan. 1, severely restricting cooperation the state or any of its localities could offer.

Sanctuary Cities needs to be put out of commission. They are outside the rule of Law and those officials making them possible should be rounded up and arrested. Shut down sanctuary cities and charge government, state and local officials who harbor illegals and turn a blind eye to the laws on illegal immigrants.
