Under federal law, foreign governments seeking State Department clearance to buy American-made arms are barred from making campaign contributions – a prohibition aimed at preventing foreign interests from using cash to influence national security policy.

But nothing prevents them from contributing to a philanthropic foundation controlled by policymakers.

Just before Hillary Clinton became Secretary of State, the Clinton Foundation signed an agreement generally obligating it to disclose to the State Department increases in contributions from its existing foreign government donors and any new foreign government donors.

Under Clinton's leadership, the State Department approved $165 billion worth of commercial arms sales to 20 nations whose governments have given money to the Clinton Foundation, according to an IBTimes analysis of State Department and foundation data.

That figure – derived from the three full fiscal years of Clinton’s term as Secretary of State (from October 2010 to September 2012) – represented nearly double the value of American arms sales made to the those countries and approved by the State Department during the same period of President George W. Bush’s second term.

The Clinton-led State Department also authorized $151 billion of separate Pentagon-brokered deals for 16 of the countries that donated to the Clinton Foundation, resulting in a 143 percent increase in completed sales to those nations over the same time frame during the Bush administration.

These extra sales were part of a broad increase in American military exports that accompanied Obama’s arrival in the White House.

Victor Orbán’s has not pulled Hungary out of the European Union. Personally, I thought this was a mistake, but now, I think Orbán was right and I was wrong.

On Friday, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Romania blocked an EU motion condemning President Trump’s decision to move the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.

The three countries, part of the Zisegrad group of conservative, pro-nationalism, anti-globalist nations stood against a statement put forward by France designed to embarrass and isolate President Trump’s decision.

The move of the embassy to Israel takes place tomorrow morning. At 11 am this morning, Israel time, an honor convoy of Israeli bikers brought the American flag from the old embally in Tel-Aviv to Jerusalem.

I felt strong appreciation for reading this. Really irritated me when I read that support for Gina because folks were protesting her, earlier in the thread.

Support for Bolton, Gina, and total support for anything Israel wants are all red-flags for me. The Mossad's involvement in 9/11, along with neocons, seems pretty clear to me. And yet they all are still getting away with it.

Delaying JKF releases also.

Yet I still see some potential truth and some positive developments in the Q reportage, so I continue to watch and read with interest.

Just hoping that this Q-reported swamp-draining eventually results in a lot deeper draining than just the current focus on the FBI, Clinton, and the Dems while seemingly glorifying all things Trump, who may be good for business but for the environment and regulations to protect it, not so much.

I don't consider myself addicted. I, in fact, spend a tiny fraction of my day on the thread. I don't wake up in the morning and rush to the thread to see what I've missed.

I see the Q thread as a collaboration. I come into it every day to either share what I have found or to read/watch what others have shared. Oftentimes, Q drops send me into less-related research areas, like tracking the names of the actors entering and exiting the stage. (I'm always looking at the bigger picture.)

I've held jobs that involved long-term projects requiring collaboration with remote team members. As a team member on those projects, I was very dedicated, always giving 150% (working on it off the clock). Is that an addiction?

But I do understand and appreciate the concern.
