I've pretty much lost faith at this point.

Mueller is flipping Trump confidants with threats of prison time.

I don't believe Trump is really guilty of anything, I think this is Mueller abusing his power and making a mockery of the American Justice system, but apparently the deep state are totally committed to an all out war, and Trump's political confidants are continuing to fall by the way side.

At this point it appears that Trump will be impeached and that what ever good he has done will be undone by the President elected next.



At this point I'm beginning to believe the Billy Meier prophecies will come to pass and we will see civil war and worse in the United States.

In the post above, he says impeachment requires a 2/3 vote of the Senate. Not so. The House of Rep. impeaches, or not, the POTUS. If the House impeaches, the Senate holds hearings and votes for conviction, or not, on the impeachment articles as determined by the House. It takes a 2/3 vote of the Senate, or a super majority, to convict the POTUS. Anything less than that does not result in a conviction. Think Clinton and Lewinsky. Clinton was impeached by the House, but not convicted by the Senate.

It is easier to get an article of impeachment in the House, though not that easy, than it is to get a conviction in the Senate. Which party controls the House and/or Senate factors into the equation.

On another point, making the borders and immigration a national security issue, brings the issue under the POTUS' Constitutional powers as Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces and the militia, if the militia of a State is called into duty by the governor of any State of the Union. Exercise of the powers as Commander in Chief could vitiate many civil protections, such as habeas corpus, right to trial by jury...., and trigger military tribunals and the Military Code of Justice, as well as post 9/11 "laws", etc...

True, and I agree.

However the word "impeach" has a second, informal meaning in federal U.S. law, more along the lines of "indict in the House (impeach), convict in the Senate, and remove from office" ... which I trust is the meaning that Q had in mind and expected his readers to understand as such.

Q was speaking more along the lines of, and using the vocabulary of, a twitter poster, not a lawyer writing a legal document or text.

As it says in someone's response at What is the difference between indictment and impeachment? (Quora.com):

In common usage, people sometimes say “impeachment” to mean removal from office, when in fact it’s only the first step of the process. Not all impeachments results in conviction and removal. For instance, Clinton was impeached but then acquitted.

Theoretically the border under discussion and consideration is an external border of the USA, not and internal border within the USA defining the boundaries of each State. But it can be a slippery slope. Much depends on the integrity of those calling the shots. Also, much, if not more, depends on the people being and remaining vigilant and not permitting those in positions of authority, and acting with improper motives to the detriment of the common good, to get away with their crimes and acts of treason.
