It has been a couple of hard days hearing about lots of people dying left and right from covid19. Yesterday night the hardest with a 70 something friend dying in Miami after fighting for his life for 3 weeks. But this morning I woke up with a helicopter flying on top of my home giving blessings by the archbishop all over my city. From 8 am to 10 am it flew all over and it was wonderful following the live feed. I do not know whose idea it was, but it was genius. It had been done all over the world in other cities during this Holy Week. I am not a practicing catholic, but a blessing is a blessing and very welcomed !

Tragedy seems everywhere almost....... Lucky here i think with only about 15 cases so far in my region. Au government has come down hard with lockdown; seems to be working so far.

Recently realised it’s been 8 years since I joined the forum. What a worthwhile journey.

I’ve learned so much. The community here is much like a real family – in that some people feel like they find long-lost friends, some act like they wish they weren’t related at all, and some show their face only on special occasions.

But we are connected by what we have in common, which, apart from a few potential trolls now and then, is a search for truth. And a place to feel supported in navigating that journey.

Thought I’d celebrate by making a little donation (thanks for keeping this place going Bill), and... also... supplying vegan carrot cake.

Don’t be dismayed by the picture. I made enough for everyone, and placed it in a cosy log cabin in the dream realm - which to the best of my knowledge is not on lockdown. Accessible by password, which may be brought to you by a benign, furry spirit animal at your deepest level of sleeping. Possibly a wide-eyed loris wrapped in moonlight.
