    I've seen numerous memes now showcasing 'pumpkin spice'. It's not a UK thing, so I'm stumped. Can someone explain what it is, why it's suddenly relevant (to memes), and why/how it's funny?

    Guess it's because in the US, "pumpkin spice" has become a quite commercial, seasonal thing every fall season. They bring out "pumpkin spice" donuts, lattes, ice cream, shakes, etc. at all the chains for a couple of months, maybe to stir up old warm memories of ma's pumpkin pies which were a staple of the Thanksgiving and Holiday season.

    Funny that you should mention this. Whilst waiting for a train today I saw an advertisement offering a Pumpkin Spice coffee. I'd never heard of this before and decided that it wouldn't be something I would like to try.
    The outlet was, I think, Greggs....
