And while on the subject of the Russian language, and touching emotional scenes, this video is actually very lovely to see. (No translation is necessary here. )

Liberated by Russian forces. This does not jive with the western mainstream narrative. Do we know where in the Ukraine this took place and when?

The video was posted today, with three-quarters of a million views already. It's in Mariupol, but (as best as I understand) in one of the outlying parts of the city, certainly not very near the center.

The Russian anthem is being played by the soldiers on loudspeakers when they raise the flag. It's not a video editing overlay. The few citizens there come out as soon as they hear it, overwhelmed with gratitude.

If this is WW3 the USA is divided between a rouge illegal so-called administration
and the real US that is coming soon that is not against Putin.

The sooner it has power, the better. Then the sparks will really begin to fly!!!!!!!!!
Question Everything, always speak truth... Make the best of today, for there may not be a tomorrow!!! But, that's OK because tomorrow never comes, so we have nothing to worry about!!!

...I don't believe these people lost their touch, they've simply done what their forbears have done repeatedly in the past. They've prepared the next bolthole, secured their assets, seeded the way and they are going to morph into their next iteration, whilst the ship goes down on their latest empire. 'The West' is being deliberately steered into the sidings, economically, culturally and eventually militarily and the puppet masters will be long gone when the proverbial hits the fan.

My question is still who are these puppet masters?

We understand how it worked in WW I--II because there is plenty of evidence of international collusion.

We understand the long-running Fabian policy as well as the Chatham House design about infiltrating and eventually vampirizing the U. S.; but unless this turns around and works out to the benefit of someone behind it, then they really have not mastered much.

It seems that "incompetence" is a much stronger explanation than many other reasons.

In my experience, top brass are competent at approximately one thing:

    Telling someone what to do.

    Sometimes orders lead to failure:

"[The downed Mi-8] was heading towards Mariupol for emergency evacuation of the Azov battalion’s leaders, who had abandoned their troops", Defence Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov stated.

I can easily believe it is not hard to train Americans to hate Russians, even though they were once our allies and nothing drastic really ever happened. That kind of thing is relatively easy with some money and time. Just because it is not what I would think of as a "real" reason does not mean it does not work.

I am just still looking for a cui bono as if it were an example where, say, a post-apocalyptic U. S. actually was taken over by Russian or even British forces or something like that. Or if the pillar of wealth represented by Capitalism could now just retire happily in Macau or a Pacific island. So I would like to suggest that the puppet mastery is mostly by the ones we already know and that what is happening these days is more like an incompetent loss of control.

Repetition of what the forebears have done is babbling moronic if there ever was any. Total opposite of learning from history. I can believe someone would be dumb enough to buy a germ factory in the Ukraine. But I am not sure the benefit or to whom it would go, were they in the position to control or demolish the US/UK at will. Where, for example, will be the next major country that would like to host some anti-Russian hate?

I think we are seeing the screaming end of bad plans which may have been assumed to topple order and promote One World Government through the usual channels, but it doesn't work.

    Yes. Here's the BILD article:

    https://bild.de/politik/ausland/poli...0778.bild.html

Translation here: (Although the term in the URL horror-video-ukraine may speak for itself.)

    https://www-bild-de.translate.goog/p...0778.bild.html

    The translation reads:
Gruesome video footage from eastern Ukraine

A five-minute video was published on Sunday on the Telegram messenger service, which is said to show possible war crimes by Ukrainian soldiers and volunteer fighters against Russian prisoners of war.

The video shows about 20 suspected Ukrainians manhandling, interrogating and - particularly badly - shooting about 10 suspected Putin soldiers after they have already surrendered and are tied up. The footage shows a shot aimed at the legs of three Russian prisoners.

About seven other Russians are lying on the ground with gunshot wounds to their legs.

The video made waves on social media. That's another reason why an advisor to the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj (44) commented on the horror recordings just hours later, condemned them and promised an investigation by the military.

In an interview with Russian activist Mark Feygin, Oleksiy Arestovych explains that the video shows “absolutely unacceptable behavior. This is a war crime." Arestovych stressed that "there will be an investigation" and those responsible would be "severely" punished. The promise and certainly also the appeal of the Ukrainian government advisor to his own troops: "We do not mistreat prisoners of war, we are a European army."

I'm not sure most of that stuff recently posted even qualifies as torture. If I torture someone, that would mean I am trying to coerce information out of them. It would be to my advantage to keep them alive for months and just burn them with cigars and so forth. Most of these incidents are a sick form of pleasure like Gilles de Rais. Mayhem and Murder.

If Neocon warhawks irrationally hate Russians, it looks like the Department of Defense has other plans:

"The FY23 President’s Budget allows DoD to develop, procure, and modernize capabilities to ensure combat-credible forces across all domains to address the pacing challenge from the People’s Republic of China and to address acute threats from Russia," the budget document said.

During a press briefing with three Pentagon officials earlier in the day, US Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks said China is the most consequential strategic competitor.

    Regarding Russia:

The budget also says to counter Russia, the Defense Department 2023 request seeks to optimize Joint Force responsiveness to deter challenges in the US European Command area of responsibility through investments that enhance US partners' readiness and capabilities in the region.

The budget specifically requests about $5.1 billion to address security and strategic challenges posed by Russia in Europe.

In other words, you "invest" $5 billion in someone else getting themselves killed, which you merely hope costs Russia $10 billion to do so, and that defangs his acute threats.

Meanwhile a mere $6 billion will "address the pacing challenge" of China, such as:

    construction to enable enhanced posture

Is this to spend the next fourteen thousand years building a wall all the way around the Asian Pacific rim in order to strategically compete? Roll over NATO, Russia is a sandbox, as long as we have this country then there is a permanent and very serious war footing with China. Never mind the lack of "armed conflict", we can deploy generations of "armed observers"! Bragging about how good they are will alone direct all thy tea into my coffers. After all, they are "combat credible", meaning they too can show up and get vaporized in a matter of moments.

Anyway, this seems to be the current US--UK plan. Invest in Ukranians to make a "bog" for Russia like Vietnam. Well, again, you might be able to embolden them for a few weeks, but somehow I do not think eight years from now that Russia will find itself sending home thousands of body bags for no reason.

In Mauriopol, the militias do not even use fortifications, they inhabit multi-level residential buildings. Exactly what kind of idiocy is this? More bad plans that don't work. I wonder if they even have a survival rate.

Here are a couple of recent comments:

I am not sure if you guys have heard about Martin Armstrong who was an economic analyst in the United States for many years and was at one time moving billions of dollars around.

He’s been providing reporting on the current conflict in Ukraine that has been quite refreshing, and let’s just say he has NO love whatsoever for what the western leaders are doing.

He calls this what this is: The opening shots to WWIII. And this is an attempt to have everyone join Klaus Schwab’s Great Reset.

He thinks the real mojo will begin next year with Iran and China joining in on Israel/neighboring Arab nations and Taiwan respectively.

The Aramco strike is particularly interesting in the light of all of this.

    reply:

In private, a few city of london senior old hands who i have known since childhood share the view of MA…more or less. What they note is the desperation unfolding in banking / finanial circles that the western ‘leadership’ have blundered into a massive trap. These are not idealistic people, propaganda absorbers, just hard nosed realists. What they note is that whichever way you turn the board it looks like Russia wins the peace, gaining diplomatic status and economic power. On the way there will be tremendous hardship and upheval leading to a miserable existance for most. How the current crop of european glove puppet ‘leaders’ can grasp the seriousnes of their idiocy from inside the echo chamber of the ‘global order’ is not obvious and seems unlikely.

So, yes, this seems to share the view that there *was* a bad plan about subversion into the Schwabian Reset, *but* confidence in this plan was itself a trap or is at least unsolvable. Western finance and leadership have more or less doomed their entire sphere in such a way that they still believe in the efficacy of their actions.

The "controlled" Aramco fire is still burning after three days.

With regard to the above, I was under the impression that the blue armband signifies Azov or other nationalist battalions, rather than Ukranian Armed Forces....would this be correct?
This report might be helpful — but maybe Malasa can confirm?
Exclusive: Change of colours in Ukraine camp to foil infiltration by Russia's saboteurs
Ukrainian soldiers and citizen volunteers have switched from their distinct yellow armbands to blue to prevent Russians from infiltrating their camps.
The blue band started being used by "volunteers" (mercenaries) and then it turned into anyone who is not "official army", by this i mean, they use it to later claim it wasn't a true Ukrainian soldier the one using a blue band, as in those who are killing innocents but have blue bands can be thrown under the bus if it becomes public, because the blue band was not part of the uniform so this must be a foreigner bad actor and not represents Ukraine real "heroic army"

The other thing about using it to figure out infiltrators is a trick for mass media, this is used so that any crime recorded by Ukrainian soldiers can be excused as "look at the band, we were using blue on the left arm and those are using yellow on the right arm, they are Russian infiltrators" and then this is pushed to social media and other levels of propaganda and crime goes unpunished and blamed on Russia

The idea they push about switching arm sides and colors is dumb, everyone always knows what they'll use on specific locations and times because of the drones and reports by scouts and other intel ways. Intel works a lot faster than that, it leaks easily and specially if the info comes directly from their side

But what do i know, i just read that from the back of my cereal box this morning

This is a short, high quality interview published 3 days ago by Gerald Celente (but I think it was recorded on 22 March), featuring Regis Tremblay, an American film maker now living in Yalta, Crimea.

After an opening rant by Celente , you can start in at 7:10, listening for the next 20 minutes. Tremblay is very grounded and lucid, reporting on his whole experience there. He confirms everything we're already learned about what's really been happening. He talks slowly and clearly, including much about the ongoing American hateful narrative about Russia, and if you're short on time it can be played at 1.25-1.5x speed.

He's made several films about the ceaseless military attacks by Ukraine on the people of Donbass, and one of the documentaries he made is called Who are these Russians, and why do we hate them?I've also posted that below. I've not watched it yet, but I certainly will do. It might even deserve its own thread — because the question he poses and addresses is an excellent one.

This might be interesting, coming up in 70 minutes from now. Here's the video text, from Consortium News:
Economists Michael Hudson and Richard Wolff join CN Live! to discuss the economic war against Russia, its boomerang effect on the West and the threat to extend the war to China. Is globalization over?

This new Russia Today report (a very brief one) might just possibly be significant:
Russia to ‘drastically’ cut military activity near Kiev

Moscow said the move was for the sake of successful peace negotiations

Russia has “drastically” reduced its military activity near Kiev and Chernigov as talks with Ukraine enter the “practical” stage, the deputy minister of defense Alexander Fomin announced on Tuesday.

Speaking to the press following the talks with the Ukrainian delegation, Fomin said that “a decision was made to drastically, in several times, reduce the military activity on the approaches to Kiev and Chernigov.”

“We expect that relevant key decisions will be taken in Kiev and the conditions for further normal work will be created,” he said.

Fomin called on Ukraine “to fully abide by the Geneva Conventions, including with regard to the humane treatment of prisoners of war.”

    My own comment:

Putin will be well aware of the obvious American agenda to expand and prolong the war. Without losing face or appearing to back down, he'll very likely want to stop that in its tracks while maintaining full control over Donbass and Crimea. (Re Donbass, he'll likely insist on a citizens' referendum, which may be hard for anyone to criticize or refuse.)

It's possible that 90% of the deNazification has been achieved already, but the remaining 10% could still be a problem depending on where the remaining Nazis are located and what they're doing. And I suspect that Putin will want Zelensky to remain as President (which will help Ukraine to recover, but in a strictly neutral capacity), though with far reduced influence and surrounded by Russian advisers.

I don't think people realized what just happened over the past few days, so I'm going to try to explain what I'm seeing:

The Russian central bank pegged 1 gram of gold to 5000 Rubles (currently, about 50 bucks).

At the same time, Putin made it so that Russian gas and oil can only be purchased in Rubles.

Meaning: Putin basically just pegged Russian oil and gas to gold, using paper rubles as a proxy.

Meaning: Europe will need to either buy Rubles from Putin in gold, in order to buy gas and oil, or they will have to buy directly in gold. Which means, there will soon be a lot more demand for rubles.

Currently, the forex rate for rubles to dollars is about 100:1.

But... with 5000 rubles now equaling 1 gram of gold, and oil being priced directly in gold - you're going to see a massive price disruption in these FOREX markets, in terms of how much gold a dollar can actually still buy.

Foreign countries holding our dollar debt notes in reserve will see less of a use for them, and will want to start dumping them, in order to get something more stable, something which holds its value.

Basically any currency pegged to gold now will fit the bill. Which means those countries - countries like Japan - will be dumping their dollar debt as fast as they can. They're are NOT going to go down with the ship. And they will move into more stable currencies - like the Ruble.

Which will have a deflationary effect on the Ruble, making it more valuable over time.

Which means Putin will be able to re-peg the Ruble to Gold at whatever rate he wants, down the line. It's 5000 rubles today. Tomorrow, it might be 500. And then 100. And then 10.

This also means all those excess dollars being dumped by foreign nations are about to come home and cause even worse hyperinflation than we're seeing.

Is it any wonder Biden is up on stage pleading with Europeans for regime change in Russia? He's about to have masses of angry and starving people marching through the streets here at home, demanding answers.

    • Media Ignores These Complexities of Ukraine War (Pt. 1) | Jordan Belfort:

Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report” talks to Jordan Belfort, the real wolf of Wall Street, about the mass brainwashing propaganda pushed by the media concerning COVID, the simplistic narrative of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and his one regret from his crazy wolf of Wall Street days. In this clip Jordan explains why the media has chosen to brainwash their viewers on major events like COVID and Ukraine instead of trusting them with facts. He shares why it’s clearer than ever that the mainstream media manipulates us with its distorted narratives. He sees the middle class decline as a big indicator that something has gone wrong with the American economy. He admits the rich and very ambitious will continue to thrive as the shrinking middle class feels more and more of the squeeze. He sees this and our inability to have honest conversations about the unfairness of Lia Thomas winning the women’s NCAA swimming championship as signs that America has lost its moral compass.
No need to follow anyone, only consider broadening (y)our horizon of possibilities ...

Ignore Kiev, ignore Kharkov (where I am), ignore the rest of Ukraine — THIS is the important bit, this is where THE battle is taking place: The eastern Ukraine cauldron, around Kramatorsk.

60,000 fighters are caught here. They have no chance of resupply or reinforcements, and they have run out of gasoline. Once they have been neutralized (one way or the other), everything else in Ukraine will fall, and the war will end.

Yes I posted this in 2 other threads, did not include in this one, though it's quite relevant here.
