A Recurring Dream Provides an After-Life Warning

I am sure some information in this post will upset a few people, particularly the information about suicide and out-of-body experiences (OBE) but keep in mind that this is a dream experience and all I can do is recount the information as it was provided to me each night. This dream did not appear to have a religious component. I consider myself fairly spiritual but the dream did not feel spiritual in any way whatsoever it was more like information was simply being passed along.

Background
I have had the same dream almost every night for the past year. Let me start out by saying that I don't normally attempt to analyze my dreams as a matter of fact I rarely remember my dreams. I have remembered a few of my dreams over the years but normally I just wake up and go on with my life without giving a second thought to the dreams from the night before. That is precisely why this recurring dream seems so significant. I am not sure how much of my sleeping time this dream occupied but I enjoyed it, it was vivid and I found it intriguing. After two weeks this dream did not change, it quickly became boring and monotonous. While I did not dread going to sleep I did not look forward to a replay from the previous 14-15 nights.

The Process
Once I started to think about the dream during my waking hours the dream began to expand each night and take on new importance. Some nights much more information was delivered than normal. I viewed this process as connecting my daytime conscious mind with my nighttime subconscious mind. I started to look forward to my sleeping hours, I never knew if a few pages or a full chapter was going to be delivered. After a few months of having this ever-expanding dream, I started to read about dream interpretation. While I never reached any definitive conclusion about my dream some great psychologists will tell you that dreams are important and should not be ignored. My dream seems to be fairly straightforward without hidden meaning and with a definite warning.

The Dream

• The soul is a physical organ in our body and by far the most important organ.
• The best sense that I received was that our souls are data collection devices and libraries that house all the things that we have been through and the essence of who we currently are and who we are becoming.
• The soul is connected from the base of the brain to the top of our hearts. It is fairly thin, approximately 2-3 feet long and has a soft } shape.
• The soul is protected from harm as long it remains in the body.
• After death, the soul departs the body and it begins to sense (it does not see) an extremely radiant section of the universe which is actually a guiding mechanism to a safe location. It is often referred to as a bright light but it is something that is felt more than seen.
• This new safe location is a collection point for thousands if not millions of souls.
• There are millions of these collection locations scattered throughout the universe and not just being used by souls from the earth.
• Once at the collection point the souls are physically transported to a new safe location.
• At this new location the souls will undergo a process to prepare for another life journey, it may or may not be in human life form.
• It is not uncommon to return to earth nor is it uncommon to go to another part of the universe. You actually have a say in the matter.
  
  The Warning
  
• There are those (I have no idea who or why) that want to gain control over souls and if they cannot get complete control they will attempt to destroy the souls.
• Many if not all suicides are a deception to steal or gain control of a soul.
• Out-of-Body experiences, which I have managed to do in the past are very dangerous and we should understand the risks involved.
• In my dreams, I saw one collection station that has been completely burned and destroyed.

While I still occasionally have remnants of this dream there is no more new information being conveyed.

Very interesting & I have to agree with everything that I have experience of (ie know a bit about).

The warnings are the main interest to me tbh, there definitely is a war for souls & there is also a bid to destroy souls, this is probably the main thing that made me become a practising Catholic at the tender age of 40. I think the clots shots are also a part of this war, they have a dark magic aspect to them.

Suicides are very often people who have fallen prey to entities that work night & day to push them over the edge, and they couldn't do that if the people involved weren't both intelligent & spiritual (whether they know it or not, some might use the word "sensitive"). Which is why I think it's a good idea to pray for the souls of those who have taken their own lives.

OBEs; I can imagine that not going down well with a lot of people but I have to agree, once you can do that you kinda "light up" to these entities, and become a likely target, and in all manner of ways too.

I have never seen any such place burned or destroyed but like everyone my experiences are subjective & limited, I have seen a vast space filled with racks of jars, these contained the souls of atheists*, because they believed in "nothing" that's what they got until reincarnated, I could imagine they could be destroyed if certain forces could get to them.

* I don't mean non - Christians, I mean people devoid of spirituality of any type or creed.

A great verse indeed, and remarkably “relevant” as the jugular vein would indeed connect heart and brain.. so “We [the Divine] are/am nearer to Man, or: approach (aqrabu) Man closer than the jugular vein (the “location“ of the soul)”.

Difficult is mâ tuwaswisu bihi nafsuhu: nafsuhu is mostly translated as "his soul" but it more accurately means either "his Self" ("what his Self whispers to him") or "his lower soul" ("what his lower soul whispers to him") – the higher soul being rûH) – , and to this last interpretation also points the verb waswasa (“whisper“) which refers to the whispering of Iblîs, the dia-bolos (->"devil") litterally the Interjector: the one who wishes to get in between, interrupt, blockade the love of God for Man and of Adam for Allah.

When we die, the mitachondria in all our cells don't immediately die. Instead, they'll normally get destroyed as a result of cremation or burial. But some rare individuals do claim to successfully resurrect themselves in a new physical body formed out of the mitachondria. Individuals who can do this belong to a group (apparently mostly Indians and Tibetans) that calls itself the Council of the Immortals. Apparently some of them seem to meet occasionally somewhere near Mt Kailash, which is on the border between India and Tibet, though I expect some might also favour the area around Rishikesh.

No-one has taught me (that I know of), but I've worked out that there are twenty-six stages one needs to go through to get to immortality (as in resurrecting from the mitachondria). I believe I'm currently at stage 17 or 18, and don't even know if I'll be able to get any further in this lifetime.

However, I don't believe it's a scary situation like the OP strongly implies. People get scared about anything they don't understand and that they apparently have no power to control. Death isn't scary. When I was younger I didn't know how to turn away individuals who had recently died. Virtually every one of them would tell me (without my asking) that they were now already in a much happier place. That included all the ones that had gone to the earthbound region -- call it "hell" if you like. Not even that was so bad, for them.

the best way to deal with entities and overcome fear of them is to routinely exorcise them when encountered. Ask "truth: who are you?" "who were you before that?" ...before that, etc. until they leave. Sometimes you have no idea what something is, so "what are you?" "what are you really?" "what were you before that?" etc. "thank you very much, you may now leave."after awhile, you'll feel dangerous to entities and they will leave you alone.

Interesting recurring dream. Your account of the souls going to a “safe location” and from there being “scattered” out into the Universe is very similar to the sense I’ve had that when we die our soul, spirit, or the essence of what animates us, goes back into “the” (not “a”) great pool of energy that is out there; call it Universe, Cosmos, whatever. And from there our spirit, which is ours and unique to each of us and that we never lose, is sent back out, “scattered” as you say, or returned at some time, to some where, and in some form, in the Universe.

Honestly, I just know that everyone who is 'awakening' are experiencing this in their own way, of how they understand it. Every one of us who experience this, thinks differently.. it's never the same, even though we do agree on things together or disagree on things together.

As an response to your statement, it is of my opinion that we should replace the word 'soul' with 'host' instead. The word 'soul' is a very old word, based upon on how people understood it at the time. The more technology advances, the more these things will become clear.

There is one part of your statement that hits pretty hard:

This is very true. In my opinion, anyone who practices meditation, in order to achieve an out of body experience, should be warned of untold dangers out there. I have visited many youtube sites, and many others, on meditation practices, and NOT one of them ever say anything about potential dangers... :O

I do consider myself a host, because I have experienced OOBE, and so much more, probably far beyond most people could ever achieve.

Because the limitation of my eyes, I thought I was the body. But the truth is we are all living being or non-material spiritual structure in the universe. It is also called Tathāgata in Buddism.

No matter how I feel about my soul, I know only by working hard for all human beings can make my soul upgrade to high level. I am also thinking that in our traditional family, only two, three, four or several people together and all of us are not perfect and we need to deal with all those earthly stuff to live every day. Do I know what my disadvantage is? Do I have the method to improve myself? How? Only by those people who don't know how either?
I know it is not easy for me to live in the collective life because I have to be harmonious with every one around me. And the more people I am living with, the more difficulties I need to overcome. But only by doing this can I perfect my soul.

BTW... dream is good but it is not true in most time. Dream may include our past, present and future life. It belongs to another space.

As far as historical linguistics, or language history if you prefer, knows, "soul" and "host" are equally old, or one may be older than the other, like "host" being older than "soul", but which is older than which is impossible to decide: we do not have datable recordings of when people said these words for the first time. (Caveat: we cannot just date back the origin of "host" to the Middle Ages and then declare that it is younger, "host" is the Middle English version of the Latin "hospes" which dates back to proto-Indo-European times, as "soul" does.)

What do you mean by "the more technology advances, the more these things will become clear”? Which things? And what do you mean when you write "technology" – what sort of it? And why/how would that technology be helpful in "understanding" — "these things"?

What made you select the word "host"? Considering that a "host" is a host to "guests", who or what are the "guests" of a "host"?

Maybe you could describe in more detail why you consider yourself a "host"?

Before joining this forum in 2015, I spent 23 years writing and publishing a book about souls, which has since been translated into one other language. So I have a bit of a background with this subject. While researching 'souls' I found out that modern philosophers generally don't believe in the existence of 'souls', treating that concept as antiquated, and belonging more with ancient Greek, Egyptian, and Judeo-Christian philosophy. (I wrote a whole chapter about this issue.)

Well, I interact with all types of souls on a fairly regular basis, and can usually identify their source in the universe, their mission, or purpose for being on this planet, and frequently they tell me their individual story. As just one example, our current mixed-breed dog was never any kind of animal in previous incarnations, and spent his last life as a vegetable. He arrived to us as a 10-week old puppy, and was so alert to the slightest noise and movement, because all was so new to his consciousness. He loved being in a moving body in this lifetime, so that when he was a few months old he would dash up very steep cliffs, and jump from unseemly heights without a care for his own safety. He was completely fearless because of never before having a body to worry about, or the memory of such.

Thus some of the contents of rgray222's recurring dreams ring true, some do not. The most important aspect that rings true for me, however, is the idea that out-of-body experiences are dangerous. Maharishi Mahesh Yogi confirmed that for me and my fellow teachers many years ago, when he emphasized that not only was it dangerous, but it wasn't even desirable as a step towards enlightenment. He said the goal is mind-body integration, not mind-body disintegration.

The part of rgray222's recurring dream that doesn't ring true for me is the idea that the soul is a small physical object, located between the brain and the heart. I have written many pages in my book on this subject, and for brevity's sake don't wish to discuss that here at this time.

Refering to recent dreams, I remember one from a night or two back. I was facing a group of youngish looking people and one of them said that because of love that I was winning. I have recently been facing a few difficulties and have found that facing them with love in my heart always made things easier, and the outcomes more successful.

I want to be sure to make it back to this thread to comment further than what I am about to, but for now it just seems like a good place for me to posit this-- an out of body experience is an expansion of consciousness, which I would put to all reading is a purely natural process and not dangerous in the slightest. I think what people may mean when making reference to the OBE is the content of the OBE, not what it is at its basis. Aim at the proverbial "ghost in the machine", meaning the thing unto itself - out of body experience / consciousness expansion itself - and there is no difficulty, its contents are fully malleable, manageable by the fully aware/expanded mind. <-- not many aim in this way.

The contents of the OBE, the data it contains, its "stuff" is like all stuff presenting for processing. It is not easy to make a whole gradient ( ie: paradigm ) shift from directly within a life experience ( most will do it at an end of life juncture but I would not guess it to be any easier from there ). I will agree it comes with a great challenge. Those questing to serve in this way are assigned to bringing additional energy and information into a system whose control is designed to keep it what it is. So there will be push back. In duality systems the poles are in play and multi-level players can have much pitted against them. It is all the more reason to give the thing your all, the WHOLE of your attention. Once birthed into such an incarnation there is no backing out. You are who are and you have X across your back the whole while. You are gone after from the moment of inception. Let this help inspire you to be alert beyond the usual. Grow love, reduce entropy ( fear ). It will help the dust to fall from your eyes.

People have all manner of meanings for the word : soul.

For me soul = consciousness. A soul is an individuated unit of consciousness *not a physical thing **but this does not mean it cannot in some way be represented "physically". Some of the characteristics of rgray222's description of soul bring to mind the Vedic concept of Hridaya, "the cavern in the heart", where the soul is said to reside. It has a physical proximity within the body but itself is not physical.

It is also interesting to hear about news of transmigration (from vegetable to animal to human). My experience is that we communicate with all life forms in pictures and not words; at least we have been given that in common, to speak to each other in love and understanding. The counter argument I guess is there's quite a lot of material around this realm being a trap of some kind and a reincarnation trap being used with a 'false light' that recycles souls back into the realm at the end of life. I think Wes Penre (avalon member I think) may have covered the 'don't go into the light' argument but not sure where it lies in his site now.

Anyway, don't want to sidetrack this discussion, but that was the concept that I thought of when I read your account.
