I'd drawn the same conclusion a wee while back, but I hadn't until now factored in the Sorathic element. A BIG thanks for supplying the hitherto missing prong in the unholy trifecta/tripod
    Thanks for your thanks!

I was a bit uneasy about publishing; but the fact that this 'trifecta/ tripod' was useful for you, justifies it for me.

So is this a given or can this be combatted Bruce? Are we all just sitting ducks, or what needs to happen to turn this around . . .?

@Miller - This will inevitably be very concise, and therefore sound more cut-and-dried than it really is. On the other hand - the answer may be more detailed than you wanted! (Aside, I've written a lot on this topic on my 'Notions' blog, which can be accessed via my member's profile; and word-searched via the box in the top-left-corner.)

In general, I regard the first and most important thing any individual can do in this era is understand. After which there needs to be a recognition of significance, and a determination of which side we choose.

Beyond that, concerning what to Do - each individual and his unique circumstances mean that guidance of what exactly to do, must be personal.

I myself seek two main sources of individual guidance - 1. personal intuition (which I regard as the evaluations of my real and divine Self), and 2. the external guidance from seeking direct contact with the Holy Ghost (both via meditation and prayer).

I find that these forms of guidance only 'work' reliably when I have formulated the question very exactly and very simply - preferably a Yes/ No question; so it may take a good deal of effort and exploration/ discussion/ reading/ writing etc. - before I can get the question right.

But when I eventually do get the question of 'what to do?' right; I find the answer comes almost instantly - and with a strong conviction!

    Reaper drone incident
From Donbass Devushka Twitter account earlier, citing a subscriber:
    From a subscriber:

Something just didn’t sit well with me about the Reaper Drone story… USA regularly spies on Sevastopol and Russian vessels in the Black Sea with a RQ-4 Global Hawk Surveillance Drone (these drones do not carry munitions/missiles). Reapers do fly surveillance missions, but they also 90% of the time are armed, so why didn’t anyone fire at each other. Russian fighters fired on RC135 reconnaissance over the Black Sea a while back and after that incident, the US started flying FORTE10 Global Hawk missions. I located the flight history, from two sources, that FORTE10 was airborne over the Black Sea Monday night and that it went dark and was last spotted around the time that the Reaper was reported down. As I was getting this information, the sight that I was on scrubbed the data and sent me to a flight history for Jan 30th and clearly stated that FORTE10 had not flown in the past 14 days… I was unable to locate the page with flight record for March 13th into the 14th, but SkyGlass clearly shows that FORTE10 flew within 18 miles of the coast of Russia before it was lost.

Someone is trying to hide what really happened over the Black Sea and I can see multiple reasons for both Russia and the US to lie about what transpired (even though, the Russian MOD only reported that they hand “downed” an “American drone)… whether Russia took down a Reaper, a Global Hawk, or both is unknown, but it appears more likely that the Global Hawk was downed and the Reaper is a limited hangout (CIA/intelligence agency method of releasing some of the truth, “a US drone was downed”, but mixed with lies, “and it was a Reaper”)
    The Russian MoD explanation, here:
    Russian MoD statement:

    - US drone flight was recorded in Russia's Crimean region in direction of the Russian border.

    - Flight of the US drone was carried out with the transponders turned off, violating airspace rules.

    - Russian fighter jets were lifted into the air after discovery of a US drone.

    - Russian fighter jets did not use weapons and did not come into contact with the US drone.

    - As a result of sharp maneuvering, the US drone went into uncontrolled flight with a loss of altitude and collided with the water surface.

Full statement of Ministry of Defense of Russia:

🇷🇺 ✈️🇺🇸 On the morning of March 14 this year, an American MQ-9 unmanned aerial vehicle flew over the Black Sea near the Crimean Peninsula by means of the airspace control of the Russian Aerospace Forces in the direction of the State Border of the Russian Federation.

◽️ The flight of the unmanned aerial vehicle was carried out with the transponders turned off, violating the boundaries of the area of the temporary regime for the use of airspace established for the purpose of conducting a special military operation, communicated to all users of international airspace and published in accordance with international standards.

◽️ In order to identify the violator, fighters from the air defense forces on duty were lifted into the air. As a result of sharp maneuvering around 9.30 (Moscow time), the MQ-9 unmanned aerial vehicle went into an uncontrolled flight with a loss of altitude and collided with the water surface.

◽️ The Russian fighters did not use airborne weapons, did not come into contact with the unmanned aerial vehicle and returned safely to the home airfield.

    About drone incident...

    U.S. tale:

Moscow’s comment came after the US European Command (EUCOM) accused the Russian jets of “an unsafe and unprofessional intercept” of the drone. The Americans claimed their spy drone was operating in international airspace when a pair of Su-27 jets appeared, sprayed it with fuel, and “struck the propeller” of the UAV, which caused it to crash into the sea. EUCOM waited almost 12 hours after the incident to comment on it.

Here's a Rudolf Steiner passage that is I think directly relevant:

Source: The Great Rudolf Steiner Quotes site
There are beings in the spiritual realms for whom anxiety and fear emanating from human beings offer welcome food. When humans have no anxiety and fear, then these creatures starve. People not yet sufficiently convinced of this statement could understand it to be meant comparatively only. But for those who are familiar with this phenomenon, it is a reality.

If fear and anxiety radiate from people and they break out in panic, then these creatures find welcome nutrition and they become more and more powerful. These beings are hostile towards humanity. Everything that feeds on negative feelings, on anxiety, fear and superstition, despair or doubt, are in reality hostile forces in supersensible worlds, launching cruel attacks on human beings, while they are being fed.

Therefore, it is above all necessary to begin with that the person who enters the spiritual world overcome fear, feelings of helplessness, despair and anxiety. But these are exactly the feelings that belong to contemporary culture and materialism; because it estranges people from the spiritual world, it is especially suited to evoke hopelessness and fear of the unknown in people, thereby calling up the above mentioned hostile forces against them.

Yes, I highly recommend the comments. Here's one of many:
This drone is a mirror image of the failing USA... and their banks, and rail roads and their president...just falling deep, nose diving...fast!
The entire thing is hilarious, as is the American "it's not fair!!" upset reaction. This was very clever and skillful Su-27 piloting. Top Gun's 'Maverick' would have been proud, exactly what he would have done.

Of course, they never touched the propeller. They didn't have to... spraying jet fuel into the Reaper's air intake was likely to have wrecked its engine, and the dive into the Black Sea was because the remote pilot lost control. And now the Russians have a salvaged US Reaper drone to send to Iran to be back-engineered.

More seriously, this is a strong signal sent to the US and NATO by the Russians. These flights happen all the time, of course, providing all kinds of intel to the Ukraine military. The Russians are now saying NO MORE.

@Tintin - Excellent Steiner quote. I learned from the work of David Icke that fear (particularly in the sense of chronic, dominating angst) is one of the worst of sins* - in many ways the opposite of the primary virtue of Love. This insight explains a lot in terms of global strategies and national policies and tactics; and is also a valuable lesson for everyone in how Not to respond to mainstream narratives.

*Note: For a Christian; to consent to live in fear, or worse to embrace fear - as seen in the recent pseudo-pandemic, is to demonstrate one's lack of faith in the love of God. Fear is therefore something to be repented, not lived-by.

    Visit to Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant

During his working trip to the Republic of Buryatia, the President learned about the activities of the Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant, visited the unit assembly and final assembly shops and inspected the finished products.

    March 14, 2023

Together with Deputy Prime Minister – Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev and Head of the Republic Alexei Tsydenov, Vladimir Putin examined information stands about the history of the plant. The plant’s managing director, Alexei Kozlov, led the tour.

The President was shown helicopter units and airframes for new models: a modification of the civilian Mi-171AZ helicopter and a modification of the Ka-226 – Ka-226.54 helicopter. The President also visited the final assembly shop and talked to the plant workers.

Vladimir Putin was also shown samples of finished products the plant manufactures, while in the training centre, he admired a Mi-171A2 helicopter simulator. Apart from aircraft manufacturing, the plant provides aircraft service support and upgrading and also trains aircrews and maintenance personnel.

The Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant (U-UAZ) is a leading Russian helicopter manufacturer and a key enterprise in the capital of Buryatia. It is a subsidiary of Russian Helicopters.

The company was founded in 1939, and today it has an integrated technological complex for manufacturing both helicopters and aircraft.

    Source: President of Russia website

[Extracted] from a conversation with one of the factory employees:
Maxim Shatov: We believe that all the decisions made in the capital were well-considered and calculated. So please tell us, how can we, ordinary citizens, aircraft plant workers, help our country win and bring peace to every home?

Vladimir Putin: You know, to try to answer your question, I will still have to start with the reasons for what is happening. I will try not to go into too much history here, but still, without this, a complete answer will not be possible.

Indeed, all the problems began after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Why? Because a world order had been created – the world order we continue to live in was established after WWII by the countries that won WWII, primarily the United States and the Soviet Union. They built their respective zones of influence, and honestly, they never interfered in each other’s spaces too much. They did have problems, sometimes as big as the Caribbean crisis, and yet, they coexisted.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, this bipolar world system began to fall apart, right? And frankly, for people of my generation – I know there are people my age in this room, or maybe a little younger – it seemed to us then, and it seemed to me too that, well, the Soviet Union collapsed, whether we missed it or not, but any reasons for confrontation between the former Soviet Union (and the new Russia) with the Western world ended, too, that we had no ideological grounds for confrontation. It seemed things would be bright and clear from then on.

It turned out that we were wrong. It turned out that, as I said earlier, our so-called partners’ geopolitical interests were far more important to them than any ideological contradictions with the former Soviet Union. And immediately – you are perfectly aware of this – they started putting pressure on us, rocking Russia’s boat. They tried to create a “fifth column” in Russia to destabilise internal politics and sent hordes of international terrorists to attack us; these groups began to operate in various regions of the country, including, and above all, in the North Caucasus. We have seen it all. Terrorist attacks in Russia happened before our eyes. And they also began to be more active along the perimeter [of our borders].

But Ukraine was given a special role. Why? For historical reasons. I will not go into detail why it happened this way, but nationalism has been growing fast there since the 19th century, fuelled from the western side: first by Poland, later by Austria-Hungary, and so on. Shortly before WWI, they began tearing Russia apart, trying to weaken it. These roots ran fairly deep.

After World War II, those who collaborated with Hitler and the Nazis fled to Europe, and most Ukrainians fled to the United States and Canada. It was sort of an anti-Russia base. They started feeding and expanding it in order to gradually turn Ukraine into an anti-Russia. For our part, we have been patiently trying for decades to establish proper relations with the modern Ukrainian state.

The situation changed drastically in 2014, when the coup d’état took place at the behest of the West. We relied not only on the Russian-speaking people there – that whole country is Russian-speaking, in fact – we relied on the people who considered themselves part of the greater Russian world, our culture, language environment and our common traditions. We relied on those people. Of course, they lived and continue to live compactly in southeastern Ukraine.

The year 2014 and onwards saw the physical extermination of everyone in Ukraine who was in favour of normal relations with Russia. Public figures and journalists were killed in the streets. Let's think back to what happened at the House of Trade Unions in Odessa, where people were burned alive. Then, came the issue of Crimea, and we could not help but support its people. Then, came the issue of Donbass. We have been trying for eight years to talk our so-called partners into resolving the Donbass issue peacefully. Now it turns out they were giving us the run around, deceiving us. They are saying this publicly without mincing the words. All of that led to where we are today.

You know, for me to answer your question, here is what I would like to say in this regard and to make clear why I went deep into history. If for our so-called Western partners, our today's adversary – we can be direct about this now – the point is about improving their geopolitical position, for us, I mean the events of the last eight to ten years, everything that is happening is not just about improving our geopolitical position.

For us, this is primarily about fighting for our people who live in these territories. You see, we are a multi-ethnic country; this is the Russian world after all. If you talk with the people who come from there – I have met some of them – they are no different from us, not a bit. They are the same as us. They are one of us, part of our nation. How can we leave them behind? This is my first point.

Second, for us this is not a fight to achieve some geopolitical status. For us, it is about a fight for the survival of Russian statehood, because our adversary or, as I referred to them previously, our partners, have one goal – and we know this from previous decades – which is to destabilise us and pull our country apart. That’s the point. So, for us, this is not a geopolitical goal, but a matter of survival of Russian statehood and the creation of proper conditions for further development of our country and our children. This is what is at stake for us.

In this regard – I am about to give a straight answer to your question – I would say that in order for us to bring peace and stability closer, we need to consolidate as a society and get our act together. To reiterate, only when the adversary sees that our society is strong, composed and consolidated, then, without a doubt, what we are striving for and what you mentioned, success and victory, will come to pass in each of the areas that we are working in today. This is my first point.

As regards your team, we started out with this. Yours is a special company that has been manufacturing non-defence and defence products since 1939. So, your role in ensuring victory is special and very important.

I look forward to our joint and effective work.

Ukrainian Official: 'We Don't Have The Resources For Counteroffensive'

A senior Ukrainian government official told The Washington Post that Kyiv doesn’t have the resources to pull off a big counteroffensive in the coming months as Ukraine is lacking skilled troops, munitions, and other equipment.

“If you have more resources, you more actively attack,” said the official, who spoke to the Post on the condition of anonymity. “If you have fewer resources, you defend more. We’re going to defend. That’s why if you ask me personally, I don’t believe in a big counteroffensive for us. I’d like to believe in it, but I’m looking at the resources and asking, ‘With what?’ Maybe we’ll have some localized breakthroughs.”

The official said Ukraine doesn’t have “the people or weapons” to pull off a counteroffensive. “And you know the ratio: When you’re on the offensive, you lose twice or three times as many people. We can’t afford to lose that many people,” the official said.

The Post also spoke with a Ukrainian battalion commander who went by the name of Kupol and detailed the grim situation on the frontlines. Kupol said his battalion previously withdrew from the town of Soledar, which is near the eastern city of Bakhmut, and came under Russian control in January.

Kupol said of his battalion of 500 troops, 100 were killed, and about 400 were wounded, leading to a complete turnover. He’s now being sent soldiers with no combat experience and very little training. “I get 100 new soldiers,” Kupol said. “They don’t give me any time to prepare them. They say, ‘Take them into the battle.’ They just drop everything and run. That’s it.”

“Do you understand why? Because the soldier doesn’t shoot. I ask him why, and he says, ‘I’m afraid of the sound of the shot,’” he added. The Post report said that Ukraine has sent in an influx of draftees to replace more experienced soldiers who have been killed or wounded. It said that as more Ukrainian men who didn’t volunteer fear they will get called to battle, Ukraine’s security services shut down Telegram accounts that were helping Ukrainians avoid locations where authorities were handing out draft slips.

EUCOM waited almost 12 hours after the incident to comment on it.

if you read people comments about this "play", it will make your day!

    https://www.rt.com/russia/572980-russia-us-drone-down/
Yes, I highly recommend the comments.

What's really embarrassing is that US pilots used a million dollar missile to take down a glorified weather balloon, while the Russian pilot just unloads some fuel on the billion dollar drone, and down it goes!

Today marks the 9th anniversary of the referendum in Crimea:

    Text:
🗓 Today is the 9th anniversary of the Crimean status referendum.

On March 16, 2014, Crimeans made their historic choice on the basis of universal suffrage.

✅ The absolute majority of the peninsula’s residents, or 96.77 % with a turnout of 83 %, voted FOR the reunification with the Russian Federation.

🇷🇺 Based on that free expression of will by the regions' population, Crimea and Sevastopol were acceded to the Russian Federation as its integral parts.

🗳 The referendum was held according to international law and became the ultimate triumph of democracy.

As many as 135 international observers from 23 countries as well as 1,240 representatives of local organisations were present during the vote and praised the preparations for and the implementation of the Crimean referendum.

◾Today, March 16, Latvia arranges a procession of Waffen SS legionnaires and their followers. More than 100 people will take part in the event, which has already become a tradition for Riga.

◾Former SS men and their sympathizers will march from the Church of St. John to the Freedom Monument, where a flower laying ceremony is planned.

◾On this occasion, the President of Latvia, Egils Levits, decided once again to recall the role of the Latvian legionnaires "in the struggle for the independence of Latvia."

◾“The hope for an independent Latvia was the common basis that connected the various participants in the national resistance in time and space, various currents of resistance, such as school youth, the Central Council of Latvia, Latvian national partisans and other heroes of the resistance,” the President said.

Do you know what? I'm really glad you're here

Bruce, I deeply appreciated your explanation as well, as a student of Rudolph Steiner, and not an organized student of his work I have really only gone as far as Ahriman. But what we are seeing now is absolute insanity, a force that seeks destruction of everything. I would love to hear more from you. Welcome to the forum.
