This may or may not be true. It's not been reported anywhere in the Russian mainstream or social media, but a very different ship (a tanker) has been hit, as in post #11458 above.

Yes. The Moon of Alabama did a piece on this yesterday:
Three Polls On Support For The War In Ukraine

There are new polls out which show the changing opinion of U.S. citizens and others about supporting the war in Ukraine.

Newsweek came first, with a very deceiving headline:

U.S. Troops Should be Sent to Ukraine, Third of Americans Say

The text describing the poll does not really support what the headline says:
A total of 31 percent of eligible voters in the U.S. support or strongly support American military forces heading to the battlefields of Ukraine, polling conducted exclusively for Newsweek by Redfield & Wilton Strategies has revealed. A quarter of respondents neither supported nor opposed the idea of sending U.S. soldiers to Ukraine, with 34 percent against the suggestion. Just under one in ten respondents did not know.
Can anyone tell me why one would put the loosing share of the opinion poll into the headline?

What is surprising, at least to me, is the huge difference of opinions between the young and the older voters:
In the poll, those identified as "Millennial," between 27 and 42 years old, were most likely to "strongly support" committing U.S. troops to Ukraine. However, more respondents aged between 18-26 (Gen Z) said they would support the measure overall, 47 percent saying they supported or strongly supported sending U.S. troops. Nearly a third of respondents aged over 59 said they opposed pledging U.S. troops to Ukraine, with a further 25 percent "strongly" opposing the suggestion.
The pro-war Gen-Z-lers should be put through a boot camp to be shipped off to Europe. I have no doubt that it would change their opinion in no time.

In contrast to Newsweek the CNN poll pice is correctly headlined:

CNN Poll: Majority of Americans oppose more US aid for Ukraine in war with Russia
Most Americans oppose Congress authorizing additional funding to support Ukraine in its war with Russia, according to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS, as the public splits over whether the US has already done enough to assist Ukraine.
Overall, 55% say the US Congress should not authorize additional funding to support Ukraine vs. 45% who say Congress should authorize such funding. And 51% say that the US has already done enough to help Ukraine while 48% say it should do more. A poll conducted in the early days of the Russian invasion in late February 2022 found 62% who felt the US should have been doing more.
The CNN poll seem to contradict the one by Newsweek on the most important question:
When asked specifically about types of assistance the US could provide to Ukraine, there is broader support for help with intelligence gathering (63%) and military training (53%) than for providing weapons (43%), alongside very slim backing for US military forces to participate in combat operations (17%).
There is a strong partisan divide about supporting the war:
Within both parties, there are splits by ideology. On providing additional funding, liberal Democrats are far and away the most supportive, 74% back it compared with 51% of moderate or conservative Democrats. Among Republicans, about three-quarters of conservatives oppose new funding (76%) compared with 61% of moderate or liberal Republicans. Independents mostly say the US has done enough to help Ukraine (56%) and that they oppose additional funding (55%).
The progressives in the U.S., like the Greens in Europe, are now the fringe that is most eager to pursue the war. They are, of course, also those who are the least eager to serve in the military.

It is interesting to compare that with a change in opinion of young Poles, aged 16-34:
There has been a fundamental shift when it comes to the stance that young Poles think their government should adopt in the war in Ukraine. In 2022, an overwhelming majority of 83% argued that the government should support Ukraine – but this number has changed drastically. Now, 65% of respondents back continuous support for Ukraine, whereas the remaining 34% wish for Poland to stay neutral. Clearly, more than one and a half years into the current phase of the conflict and amid fears of other countries being pulled into the war, young people have become more cautious.
Those numbers are a month old. It is likely that the support has sunk further and will no longer be in a majority by the end of this year.

While no poll can be trusted fully they show in aggregate that the general opinion is moving away from supporting the war.

That gives some hope that any unnecessary prolonging of the war, which some neoconservative circles seem to wish, will be met by a strong opposition.

A Ukrainian Unit commander notice issued July 28th, 2023 to take effect August 1st, in Kherson City. Of course this a translation, not the original in the Ukrainian language.

    • Very Very Dangerous! The Russians Will NOT Tolerate It:

Colonel Douglas Macgregor Straight Calls - Analysis of breaking news and in-depth discussion of current geopolitical events in the United States of America and the world.

Interview with Ron Paul on August 2, 2023

Former senior advisor to President Trump's Secretary of Defense and decorated war hero Col. Douglas Macgregor joins today's Liberty Report to discuss the state of the US/NATO proxy war with Russia through Ukraine. Is there danger of further escalation from the Biden Administration and what might that look like? When and how does this war end?
    • Make Peace, You Fools!
America’s proxy war with Russia has transformed Ukraine into a graveyard.

Incrementalism—the tendency to inch forward rather than to take bold steps—is usually preferred by political and military leaders in warfare, because the introduction of a few forces into action puts fewer personnel at risk, and, in theory, promises a series of improvements over time, often through attrition.

In 1950, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, led by the then-chairman General J. Lawton Collins, recommended short envelopments along the Korean coastline that were designed to gradually increase the size of the U.S. and Allied enclave known as the Pusan Perimeter. The idea was to buy time to assemble enough forces to launch a breakout on the Normandy model. But General of the Army Douglas MacArthur disagreed. He argued for a daring, deep envelopment that promised to cut off the North Korean Forces south of the 38th Parallel that were encircling Pusan.

As it turned out, MacArthur was right. Today, we know that the short envelopments were exactly what the North Korean command was prepared to defeat. In retrospect, it is certain that along with their Chinese allies, the North Koreans were familiar with the operational employment of U.S. and Allied forces during WWII. Eisenhower’s insistence on a broad front strategy that moved millions of troops in multiple armies in parallel across France and Germany to Central Europe conformed to the low-risk formula.
In light of this history, it was reasonable for the North Koreans to believe that MacArthur would never split his forces and launch an amphibious assault far behind North Korean lines. It was simply too risky. And the operational concept for Inchon was also inconsistent with the way U.S. forces were employed during the Civil War and World War I—wars won through attrition, not maneuver.

In February 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin opted for incrementalism in his approach to the “Special Military Operation” in Ukraine. Putin committed fewer than 100,000 Russian troops to a shallow penetration attack on a broad front into a country the size of Texas. Having failed over a period of nearly 15 years to persuade Washington and the collective West of Moscow’s opposition to NATO’s advance to the east, Putin seems to have concluded that Washington and its NATO allies would prefer immediate negotiations to a destructive regional war with unknowable potential for escalation to the nuclear level.

Putin was wrong. He made a false assumption based on rational choice theory. Rational choice theory attempts to predict human behavior based on the assumption that individuals habitually make choices in economics, politics, and daily life that align with their personal best interest.

The problem with the theory is that human beings are not rational. In fact, the human mind is like a black box. It is possible to observe what goes into the black box and the decisions that come out of it, but the actual decision-making process that unfolds inside the black box is opaque.

In international relations and war, the defining features of human identity—history, geography, culture, religion, language, race, or ethnicity—must also figure prominently in any strategic assessment. For reasons of culture, experience, and innate character, MacArthur was a risk-taker. As Peter Drucker reminds his readers, culture is the foundation for human capital. These realities routinely defeat the unrealistic expectations that rational choice theory creates.

Instead of approaching the negotiating table, Washington discarded the caution, given Russia’s nuclear arsenal, that had guided previous American dealings with Moscow. Washington’s political class, with no real understanding of Russia or Eastern Europe, subscribed to the late Senator John McCain’s notion that Russia was a “gas station with nuclear weapons.”

Putin is not a risk-taker. But he abandoned incrementalism, and rapidly reoriented Russian forces to the strategic defense, an economy of force measure designed to minimize Russian losses while maximizing Ukrainian losses until Russian Forces could return to offensive operations. The Russian change in strategy has worked. Despite the unprecedented infusion of modern weaponry, cash, foreign fighters, and critical intelligence to Ukrainian forces, Washington’s proxy is shattered. Ukraine’s hospitals are brimming with broken human beings and Ukrainian dead litter the battlefield. Kiev is a heart patient on life support.

Russia’s attrition strategy has achieved remarkable success, but the success is making the conflict currently more dangerous than at any point since it began in February 2022. Why? Defensive operations do not win wars, and Washington continues to believe Ukraine can win.

Washington discounts Ukrainian losses and exaggerates Russian losses. Officers present at meetings in the Pentagon tell me that minor Ukrainian battlefield successes (that are almost instantly reversed) loom large in the discussions held in four-star headquarters, the White House, and Foggy Bottom. These reports are treated as incontrovertible evidence of inevitable Ukrainian victory. In this climate, staff officers are reluctant to highlight effective Russian military performance or the impact of Russia’s expanding military power.

The Western media reinforce these attitudes, arguing that the Russian generals and their forces are dysfunctional, mired in corruption and sloth, and that Ukraine can win if it gets more support. As a result, it is a good bet that Washington and its allies will continue to provide equipment and ammunition, though probably not in the quantities and of the quality they did in the recent past.

Warsaw, whose leadership of NATO’s anti-Russian crusade is prized in Washington, finds comfort in the Beltway’s belief in Russian military weakness. So much so, that Warsaw seems willing to risk direct confrontation with Moscow. According to French sources in Warsaw, if Ukrainian forces are driven back, “the Poles may introduce the first division this year, which will include the Poles, the Balts, and a certain number of Ukrainians.”

Now, Washington is misjudging Moscow. The Russian national command authorities may well think that Warsaw’s actions align with Washington’s intentions. President Biden’s executive order to extend hazard pay to American soldiers currently serving in Ukraine (who are not supposed to be there) no doubt reinforces this opinion.

But it is far more likely that the Polish tail wants to wag the American dog. The Poles know their military intervention in historic Galician Ukraine will provoke a military response from both Belarus and Russia, but Warsaw also reasons that Washington’s air and ground forces in Europe are unlikely to sit quietly in Ukraine, Romania, and the Baltic littoral while Polish forces fight a losing battle.

America’s proxy war with Russia has transformed Ukraine into a graveyard. Indulging Poland’s passion for war with Russia encourages Poland to follow the Ukrainian example. The very idea must leave Moscow no choice but to bring all of Russia’s military power to bear simultaneously against Ukraine, before the collective West stumbles into regional war. Make peace, you fools, before it’s too late.

    Youth Movement of whatever nationality.

Same thing goes on at the WEF gathering.

I would describe almost the exact same thing as happening to me when I was young. At first I would have gone to any Antifa-type mob to make any kind of disorganized vandalistic attacks on anything that smelled like The Establishment. Then I thought I became more civilized by "cooperating" with the then-newish Green Nazi policies of the Clinton era. It gives you the crusaders' mentality that your oh-so-wonderful ideas should be enforced around the world by someone else. That is the "American way" compared to someone like Young Turks trying to clean up their own yard.

In my view, Clinton wiped my slate with bombing Yugoslavia, and then I noticed none of those greenish campaign promises had done a damn thing. So I snapped out of it, which was probably easier because I had not gotten sucked in to a serious organization like WEF, and I did not live on a cell phone with a steady slew of millions of buddies repeating the same formula.

It has a lot to do with young minds, and so when I see China clamping down on time spent with phones and games, I kind of wish that had happened here.

Words can easily lead you astray, which is why for example when four years old, Alexandra David-Neel's father made her look at corpses lying around the Paris Communes. Then you become a lot harder to manipulate by politicians. Economics is the science of keeping the corpses out of sight, so British and American people have been particularly easy to steer into supporting foreign military intervention.

    Text:
In total, three series of missile strikes were carried out at the Starokonstantinov airbase today: in the morning by cruise missiles and Kinzhals, at night by Geraniums and Kalibr, and now they have added Kh-101 air-launched cruise missiles. This is the most massive missile attack on a single air base during the entire war; previously, no airfield has received so much attention and means of destruction. What's the matter?

Firstly, it is from this air base that Ukrainian Su-24 bombers take off, which are carriers of the British Storm Shadow cruise missiles. At the moment, these cruise missiles are the most dangerous and long-range missile armament of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which the enemy army does not disdain to hit bridges, ammunition depots and command posts. Destruction of Shtorm carriers and their bases is the highest priority task for the RF Armed Forces.

Secondly, Ukrainian Su-24s do not stand close to each other on the ground like some do , but are hidden in concrete arched shelters, of which there are as many as 40 on the AB. Starokonstantinov's satellite imagery shows the scale of the Soviet approach to airbases and air defense against weapons, a legacy that now serves the Air Force. In order to get Ukrainian aviation, you first have to "drill" these bulk hangars, which requires a large number of cruise and ballistic missiles.

The result of today's activities will be known over time, but do not forget about the enemy's high awareness of all our missile movements, so it is possible that the Su-24 was relocated to reserve airfields at the time of the strike, we wrote about this in detail. Nevertheless, the trend towards an increase in missile strikes against Ukrainian air bases pleases, we should not stop.

Russia is disabling "sophisticated" missiles that Ukraine's Western allies provided by scrambling their GPS coordinates, according to reports.

Russian technologies were able to jam missiles' GPS coordinates, disable Ukrainian drones, and suppress Russian radar signals that were used by Ukraine to identify targets to attack.

One such system, the R-330Zh Zhitel, is able to suppress satellite signals. It's not the first time concerns have been raised about the effectiveness of Joint Direct Attack Munition, or JDAMs, in Ukraine, with the UK think tank The Royal United Services Institute in January citing leaked US documents in which officials expressed concern that Russia was jamming JDAM GPS coordinates.

Russian defenses have proven resilient against Western-supplied weapons, with Western tanks largely ineffective in the face of the huge minefields Russia has created to defend its positions in south and east Ukraine. Western offensive tactics have so far not secured Ukraine a decisive breakthrough.

    I've got something to sell.

All you have to do is figure out the right URL!

I don't know it, and if I told you, I'd have to kill me.

Usually they are not really hidden by much. Just something like a picture within a picture, or, someone will text it to you.

January 1-December 31, Third Millenium of Our Lord:

The organs of the fallen soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were reportedly found on the website of one of the largest stores in the darknet. According to the advertisement, there you can buy any organs from €5,000 apiece.

The seller asks from 5 thousand euros for one organ, in particular, 25 thousand euros for prompt delivery of a heart and 12 thousand euros for a kidney. The items are transferred exclusively to the EU in a special medical box in 48 to 60 hours. The parcel can be picked up at the agreed place after full prepayment or handed over personally after an advance payment of 35% of the purchase.

It’s no secret that organs of Ukrainian servicemen are cut out, from newly deceased wounded soldiers in hospitals. However, black transplantologists can easily take organs of servicemen who could be saved. Amid the huge losses of the Ukrainian Army, their crimes remain unnoticed.

The seller also provides support to the Ukrainians willing to escape from the country to the EU for €8,000. Ukrainians can move abroad with fake documents. This is a very lucrative business in the war-torn country where men are captured on the streets and are taken to the frontlines without any necessary procedures and training.

According to some reports, the Kosovo Liberation Army may be involved in the activities of the trading platform. One of their leaders is a suspect in the case of organ trafficking of dead Serbian servicemen and civilians during the Yugoslav War. The Army is reportedly still functioning under a different name and its fighters can take part in hostilities in Ukraine as mercenaries.

The black market is flourishing in Ukraine, where the Kiev regime is in no hurry to stop the dangerous activities since it is covering the criminals and pleases its patrons in the EU.

This next one is twistier, it's what happens when you drop out of one of those special schools I mentioned earlier:

The great mass of Western readership is completely befuddled by the blandishments of mainstream propaganda. Putin is evil, Russia is the aggressor, the United States and the EU are the lands flowing with milk and honey, the corrupt Kiev regime is a wonderful democracy. Everyone knows that the International Criminal Court in The Hague issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin, accusing him of forcibly moving people, primarily children, from the territory that Ukraine daily bombards with NATO shells.

However, no clear evidence was presented. We cannot consider as such the ardent speeches of Ukrainian “individuals” of draft age “without vaginas,” or those of young “individuals with vaginas,” who stand in the public squares of European cities, pouring red paint on themselves and shaking their breasts – and intimidating the families of respectable Europeans.

This worries Kiev, and to an even greater extent it worries Washington and Brussels. But there is a way out. If there is no evidence, then it must be created. This requires human material to work with, and preferably that of children – whether alive or dead.

On April 19, 2023, a four-hour hearing was held at the US House Committee on Foreign Affairs under the dramatic heading “Exposing Putin’s Crimes: Evidence of Russian War Crimes and Other Atrocities in Ukraine”. The chairman stated that they were going to consider cases of Russian crimes against TWO civilians (think again about the scale of the “evidence”), a woman and a teenager. At the beginning of the hearing, the chairman played the video (most likely a forgery). The video contains footage of the war and allegedly eyewitness testimony. An attentive viewer will see the following: one man says that he was slapped on the head and legs several times (which is very far from the definition of “beaten”). A woman speaking in Russian describes how she saw a beaten man – not the one who was shown before, but another. Someone had told her about torture. In addition, other people talk about the horrors of the war against the background of staged footage, bodies laid out. Staged footage from Bucha, was also included.

This video was used to create a context for the ostensible subject of the hearings; children who were evacuated by the Russian side from the combat zone. The full video of the hearings shows the attempts of American congressmen and representatives of Kiev “to pound a square peg into a round hole”.

We decided to help our American colleagues with their investigation. We have studied the question in detail, using plentiful open-source material, and evidence provided by journalists. Some journalists had been approached by the family of Bogdan Yermokhin, a boy evacuated from Mariupol. According to Kiev, Yermokhin had been forcibly detained by the Russian special services on the territory of the Russian Federation.

The controversy over the plight of orphans such as Bogdan Yermokhin began as a result of the battle for the city of Mariupol, located on the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). In 2014, his mother died and soon his father was killed by unidentified men. Bogdan had been given away to a local Ukrainian family after being left an orphan. However, after the outbreak of hostilities in 2022, his Ukrainian adoptive parents abandoned him and another girl (Bogdan’s adoptive sister), running off to the West.

Until June 2022, some abandoned teenagers (4 underage boys and 2 girls, all orphans) hid in the basement of the college they had attended as students. After fighting for the city began, the college administration left the orphans to an uncertain fate, and fled with all their documents.

The children suffered an acute shortage of food. The Ukrainian military, who controlled this territory at that time, did not share anything with them.

At the end of June 2022, the Russian military evacuated children to the city of Donetsk. This group, together with other children who were left without parental care, were later evacuated to the Moscow region and adoptive families were found for them. In the Russian Federation, as in Ukraine, there is legislation according to which the priority is to raise orphans in families, rather than in boarding schools.

From that moment on, these children became the occasion for the Ukrainian special services to falsify evidence, in order to accuse the Russian Federation of forcibly moving children.

In November 2022, one of this group of children, a boy named Sergei, disappeared from his foster family, and after a short time re-emerged on Ukrainian territory. With his participation, videos were recorded where he claimed that he wanted to return to the territory of Ukraine, which he did. It is known that when Sergei was on the territory of the Russian Federation, work was actively carried out with him from the Ukrainian side through social networks, that is, he was persuaded to relocate to the territory of Ukraine. Apparently, this work was carried out by Ekaterina Bobrovskaya, the same Ukrainian woman who was invited to a hearing in the US House of Representatives Committee.

At the end of November 2022, Sergei, contacted Bogdan from his home in Ukraine, through Telegram. He wrote that he had successfully reached Ukraine and tried to persuade Bogdan to follow his example. Bogdan wrote in response: “I will think about it”, and “I am not ready yet”, but he expressed a desire to meet with Sergei as a friend and showed interest in how he was able to get to Ukraine. Bogdan did not initiate communication with Sergei, but answered him when he sent messages. Communication between them did not bring results in the form of any actual actions on the part of Bogdan. Subsequently, Sergei did not get in touch with Bogdan anymore.

In March 2023, a woman calling herself ‘Catherine’ contacted Bogdan, posing as a lawyer allegedly acting on behalf of Bogdan’s sister. However, she did not specify from which sister. It is known that Bogdan has two close relatives left: a full sister who lives in Italy and a cousin, Valeria, who lives in Ukraine. His blood sister had maintained communication with Bogdan and even with his Russian adoptive mother, Irina Rudnitskaya. She also informed him that she wanted to save money and come to Russia to visit her brother. She never urged him to return to Ukraine and did not say that she had engaged a lawyer to assist him in this. A cousin, Valeria, with whom Bogdan had rarely been in contact, lives in the western region of Ukraine. According to Bogdan, he called her, on March 9, to congratulate her on the annual women’s holiday (March 8). In the conversation, she also did not ask Bogdan to return to Ukraine and did not mention anything about a “lawyer”.

Ekaterina Bobrovskaya, the so-called Ukrainian “lawyer,” although more likely an SBU agent, began to put pressure on Bogdan after establishing contact. Realizing that persuasion would not work, she began to threaten the teenager. According to Bogdan, she told him: “If you do not come, your sisters will not live happily ever after”. She steadily increased the pressure, moving on to direct blackmail: “Your Russian adoptive family will have a hard time”. Ekaterina stated the exact address in Russia, where Bogdan’s adoptive family lives. Bogdan’s foster mom has 10 young children, mainly girls aged from 3 to 17 years.

Under this pressure, Bogdan began to become depressed and anxious, which manifested itself in apathy, behavioural changes, and loss of appetite. The boy, who had already endured many upheavals in his life, had become fearful for the fate of his loved ones, both his sisters and his newfound family. Imagine the incongruity of a 16 year-old boy who had survived severe hunger, then going on to lose his appetite. This would be impossible in a normal situation. The level of pressure and blackmail on him from Bobrovskaya was beyond any norms of morality and law.

As a result, Bogdan decided that the best way to take the pressure off his family and close relatives, and to stop the blackmail, was to fake an “escape”. The logic of his subsequent actions was to allegedly begin to follow the instructions of the kidnappers, but in such a way that the abduction did not take place, for reasons seemingly beyond his control. He was confident that he and his family were being spied on. He repeatedly stated this in an interview, where he described the motives for his actions.

Bogdan’s Russian adoptive mother, a professional psychologist, Irina Rudnitskaya, later explained that two weeks before Bogdan left in the direction of the border with Belarus, he seemingly became severely depressed. Later, on April 4, 2023, two media reports on this situation were released on Russian television. This is the air of the NTV channel at 13:20 (Moscow time) and the air of the Russia24 TV channel at 21:30 (Moscow time). Both reports are available on the Internet.

On March 21-22, 2023, Bogdan decided that he had enough. He told Ekaterina that he was ready to follow her instructions. She gave him detailed, step-by-step instructions to follow, and 20,000 rubles (about $280 at that time) was transferred to his personal bank card to facilitate his escape.

Ekaterina told the teenager: “In the morning, when you go to college, make sure you take your Russian passport with you. Then take a bus from your village to a particular stop in the city of Ruza (Bogdan’s college is in Ruza). When you get off, leave your mobile on the bus”.

It is worth pointing out that in Bogdan’s adoptive family’s house, his passport was easily accessible to him. It was simply kept in a cupboard, in a package with the rest of his documents. No obstacles were put in the way of the teenager to simply take his documents.

On March 24, Bogdan began to implement his plan. He wanted to give the impression of strictly following the instructions, whilst at the same time ensuring that his ‘escape’ would not succeed. Firstly, he did NOT take his passport with him. Moreover, and contrary to Ekaterina’s instructions, he only withdrew 10,000 rubles from his card, rather than 20,000.

“From Ruza, you need to get to Smolensk by taxi”, Ekaterina had instructed him. Bogdan did just that. He paid the driver the 10,000 rubles that he had withdrawn in cash from an ATM. The cost of a trip from Ruza to Smolensk, through the largest Russian online service, is 6,400 rubles, but Bogdan used a local private carrier, which charged about 10,000 rubles.

The distance from Ruza to Smolensk is 316 km, about 4 hours of travel. On the way to Smolensk, the taxi stopped several times, at a gas station and at a roadside cafe, where Bogdan paid for small purchases with his own card, deliberately leaving an electronic “trail”. The boy knew perfectly well that all his bank card transactions are visible and available to his adoptive mother, through a banking application that allows you to control the expenses of minors. This is common practice in Russia.

He finally reached Smolensk, a large regional center near the border of Belarus. There, in accordance with Bobrovskaya’s instructions, Bogdan boarded a shuttle passenger bus to the “Pochinki” border crossing, between Russia and Belarus. After crossing the border, Ekaterina was supposed to pick him up and take him to the consulate of Ukraine, where Ukrainian documents were already waiting for him, the very ones that the director of his college in Mariupol had fled with. They had told him, however, that after crossing the border he had to be seen to spend at least one night on his own, anywhere on the territory of Belarus, even in a ditch.

Bogdan continued to implement his plan to simulate fulfilling the requirements of the kidnappers. He arrives at the border crossing “Pochinki”, and calmly approached the passport control window, saying that he wanted to cross the border, but did not not have any documents.

The bewildered border control officer called his supervisor. He asked Bogdan why he did not have any documents and why he wanted to cross the state border. The boy told the officer the whole story, that is, that he had been coerced into trying to get to Belarus, where he was to be picked up by a certain Ekaterina. Bogdan, from memory, told the border guards the phone number of his adoptive mother Irina, so they could contact her (as we have seen, he had left his mobile with his address book on the bus on the way to Ruza).

The surprised border guards contacted Irina. She immediately drove to the “Pochinki” crossing, where Bogdan was being fed and cared for in the rest room.

No one had forcibly detained or interrogated the child. He had willingly asked the border guards for help. Later, when talking to journalists, the boy described with enthusiasm how kind and helpful they had been.

Soon his adoptive mother arrived and they drove home together. It would appear that this is a story with a happy ending. Yet Ekaterina (the same Ukrainian alleged “lawyer”) continued to write and call Bogdan.

In response, Bogdan told her that he was unable to get to Belarus due to circumstances beyond his control. Ekaterina began to demand that he record a video message for her, saying that he wanted to go to Ukraine. Bogdan would not do this.

At this time, between March 25-26 and April 2-3, 2023, Bogdan and Irina began to notice that their house was being spied on. They were being shadowed by a car that did not belong to anyone in the village. Bogdan’s adoptive mother decided that the only way to keep her family safe was to seek some publicity. She contacted the leading Russian television channels Russia24 and NTV, as well as the Commissioner for Children’s Rights, Maria Lvova-Belova.

It should be noted that the International Criminal Court in The Hague issued an arrest warrant for Maria Lvova-Belova, on March 17, 2023. According to the court, Lviv-Belova “is allegedly responsible for a war crime” – the illegal deportation of Ukrainian children from the occupied territories of Ukraine to the Russian Federation.

On April 4, and with the NTV cameras rolling, Bogdan called Ekaterina Bobrovskaya and asked her what exactly he needed to record in the message. She told him that his video message should state that he was not allowed to go outside, that he was not allowed to play music, and that he wanted to return to Ukraine. She again tried to manipulate him with faux empathy: “You need to write it down, I’m worried about you! I contacted Valeria, your sister, she is also worried (Valeria is Bogdan’s cousin, with whom he maintained only formal relations). Record a video message so that I can become your lawyer… ” It should be noted that Ekaterina had earlier introduced herself to Bogdan as already being his lawyer.

This was another lie. If Ekaterina had really been in contact with Bogdan’s cousin Valeria, the latter could have already applied to the state authorities of Ukraine to be recognized as his legal guardian. Yet Valeria had never done this, despite having had many months to act.

Ekaterina decided to try another tactic, reminding Bogdan of his friend Sergei. She suggested: “Come on, I’ll send you his new contact details. He now lives in a hostel, he is doing well, contact him”.

All this was recorded by Russian journalists on cameras. This coercive behaviour unambiguously falls under the criminal clause “attempted abduction of a minor by deception, psychological pressure and blackmail”, regardless of whether it is the continental or Anglo-Saxon system of law.

The question arises, why make such efforts to take this particular teenager out of Russia? After all, according to the US authorities and the court in The Hague, thousands of Ukrainian children were “forcibly” taken to Russia from under Ukrainian shelling. Why exactly Bogdan?

The answer is simple. Everything was done for only one purpose – to fabricate at least some evidence of the “forcible export” of minors from the former territory of Ukraine. The Ukrainian side thought that of all the “thousands of children” they had managed to effectively blackmail Bogdan. He became the number one target.

Bogdan’s adoptive mother, Irina Rudnitskaya, and Ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova report that this attempt was far from the only one. In the same period of time, the Russian side recorded similar attempts to kidnap children aged 14-17 years. The tactic was always the same – alternating persuasion and threats. From the point of view of the Kiev special services, children of this age are ideal goals for their efforts. They are independent enough to be mobile, are highly impressionable, and are minors at the time of the alleged “escape”.

Bogdan is now 17 years old, and in less than a year he will become an adult. At that point, no one will be able to limit his freedom of movement. He will be able to go to Ukraine, or to China, or the United States. His adoptive sister, who was also abandoned in Mariupol, is now 18. She is located on the territory of Russia. Obviously, the Ukrainian special services are not interested in those who have crossed the formal age threshold. Apparently, in their opinion, these young people will be difficult to use as examples of the “crimes” of the Putin regime.

This is another example of a joint operation of the Ukrainian and American special services. They are targeting both underage boys and girls. The latter are at a particular risk of violence if they succumb to persuasion and threats. The idea is that if one in ten can be successfully nobbled, then the rest are not important.

The purpose is to fabricate evidence to support the far-fetched accusations against Russia. The hearing in the US Congress Committee has been convened to marshal outright fakes and fabrications for the legal charade in The Hague. Yet the Internet is full of videos detailing the atrocities of Ukrainian Nazis against Russian-speaking residents of the former Ukraine. It is clear that the guiding principle of Western leaders and their fawning media is: “If our statements contradict the facts, then the worse for the facts”. Whilst the myth of the ‘infallibility of the forces of good and democracy’ is crumbling, they are ready to take any steps to delay the inevitable reckoning.

Returning to the story of Bogdan, we would like to note that at the time of writing this article, the boy is still in the Russian Federation, lives in the same Russian family and is again making plans for the future. The boy still remembers the atrocities of Ukrainian militants in Mariupol, and repeatedly declares his support for Russia. Bogdan social media posts reveal his support for the Russian army. His adoptive mother, Irina Rudnitskaya, notes that the young man continues to study as an auto mechanic, and composes music.

We hope that this terrible event in the boy’s life will prove the final ordeal for him, and that everything will be fine for Bogdan in the future!

I've only just heard about the Gruinard Island explosion and fire ( just off the coast of Scotland ). It was the British anthrax experiments island, apparently.

It may have been mentioned here on this forum before.

The fire happened in March 2022, just as this Ukraine affair was getting going. I may be jumping in the wrong direction to reach for dots to join, but the first thing I thought of when I heard about it was the Ukraine special operation and it's inevitable uncovering of bio weapons labs in Ukraine.

If this is correct (and it might not be), this may be an important and potentially escalatory development. It's been reported that the Russian Air Force has used an ODAB-500 thermobaric bomb for the first time at Novgordskoe (New York, its unlikely actual name) in the Donetsk region. Thermobaric (air fuel bombs) are the most powerful non-nuclear explosive weapons.

    https://twitter.com/i/web/status/1687897312301920256

Below is a 4-second video of a thermobaric bomb deployed in Syria in 2019. (The video shown in the Twitter report is this one, not one from Ukraine.) We may need to await confirmation if this report is true.

    Edit to add:

I'm pretty sure now this is fake news. There's no other confirmation that I can find.

But I'll keep the post up because the short video is fearsome to see. The Russians certainly do have these weapons (and much larger ones, too), but they haven't used them yet in Ukraine. It may be something to bookmark in case things really do escalate in Europe.

    • Ex CIA Analyst’s Warning To Biden - ‘Russia’s NOT Gonna Lose’:

Former CIA analyst Ray McGovern makes a clear cut message to Biden. Ray uses his decades of experience to explain why Russia can't lose, and why we are only harming Ukraine in this conflict.

Ray McGovern is a former CIA analyst turned activist. He headed the CIA branch analyzing Russian foreign policy in the 70s. From 1981 to 1985, he presented, in person, the early morning briefings of The President’s Daily Brief. Ray was awarded the Intelligence Commendation Medallion at retirement; in an act of conscience in early 2006 Ray returned the Medallion, explaining, “I do not want to be associated, however remotely, with an agency engaged in torture.” In January 2003, two months before the U.S. attacked Iraq, he co-founded Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity to warn the President that the “intelligence” on Iraq was fraudulent.

Imagine you know how much of all critical reports worldwide "exposing Ukraine" are actually (partly) DELIBERATE dis-info/mis-info/(partly) fake news (ESPECIALLY VIRAL MEMES!) to be used by so-called: "fact-checkers" sites to have the appearance they are doing a "good job" and are "necessary" fighting and combating "fake news" ... I would not be surprised if they are part of the same scheme!
    • Now, why is this insight very important to fully comprehend how psychological warfare (psyops) works and WHY it is so effective to the vast majority of "neutral" people?
Easy: As long as "neutral" people have an excuse NOT to investigate what is claimed by real (mostly honest) reporting of what happened in Ukraine they WILL use any excuse to "not get involved" in any controversial topic, just to be sure they are not labeled as: "spreading ('dangerous') fake news" blah blah ... even if it can be proven that "fact-checkers" sites were on many occasions super biased and proven to be incorrect , even blatantly lied so many times EXCEPT the ones they "exposed" that were part of the same scheme (psyop) I just explained to you!
    • Do I make sense, or is it "too difficult" to comprehend how psyops may work?
    • If true, it is a really sad world we live in!
    • At the same time, this type of psyop is helped by some of the so-called "conspiracy researchers" spreading all kinds of memes and/or short Twitter/YT/TikTok videos without checking the sources!
    • If I had a say in translating the word "psyop" (psychological operations/warfare) more accurately in any (online) dictionary, I would suggest adding "perception wars" to make more sense of what is happening on a massive scale connected to "Mass Formation Psychosis"!
