Here's what really made me think things over and it happened when I was 16......my whole family is catholic, but I don't judge them.

When I was in Catholic Sunday school, getting prepared for baptism and first communion I asked the priest "Can you please explain to me how is it that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit can all be the same thing?" and his response to me was "It just is"....well to say the least, that didn't satisfy me one bit and it was then when I started my quest for higher knowledge as I knew right then and there that something was being hidden from humanity and I wanted to find out the "What and Why?"....I now know better!

    Just my 2 cents!

    Blessings,

Maybe wiki can answer your question about the holy spirit:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holy_Spirit

I read it and i'm still confused. lol

In the end though, all 3 are one and the same.

Yes, you can tell I consider myself a Christian, a spiritual Christian not quite in sync with the earthly organized institution organized by men. It hurts me and others when the common assumption is that my or your brand of faith led to murder, wars and miss deeds. But, it did not from its own precepts and Truths. Evil self serving men did those deeds and atrocities under its name. Spiritual Muslims probably feel the same way. So, let's be kind to each other’s point of reference and pray that we all find God and truly develop a relationship of responsible love with Him/Her/IT. “You’ll know them by the fruits of their labor.”

    Peace & Love,
    -R-
    Thank-you Revere

In my own way, that is exactly what i was trying to do. I do understand
now that i did a very poor job of getting my point across and i do apologize.
actually you did the perfect thing by questioning the way you did...

I've seen many comments on other forums about us that are completely untrue so for you to come out to open this discussion it answers many coming in from those boards...

Avalon is a place of healing where all beliefs come together in harmony.

If outsiders don't understand, that's ok, we aren't ever going to try to convert anyone to any belief...

but when one of us is hurting enough to ask the hard questions like you did, it draws out the best of everyone who steps forward to help you...

Avalon will never be accused of not having a heart...
Thank-you so very much. That means a lot to me.....

It's obvious that i ruffled a few feathers in here but please
believe me that this wasn't my intent. I'm not here acting
as a forum disruptor as some of you may think. Just because
i say something you don't like, are you always going to put
    that label on me?

I do see some of your points of view though and i will admit
that i made a couple of statements that i should have never
made and i do deeply apologize for it. I didn't mean to hurt
anyone's feelings here so please forgive me.

I'm fighting a personal battle inside me right now and it's
tearing me apart. I was brought up to believe in God and i
even read the bible, twice. In my later teen years and on
up to present, i've been reading alot about ufo's and aliens
and i was willing to accept the fact that maybe God created
more than just humans in this universe. After all, we can
possibly know every thing God has ever done, just like you
all can't possibly know everything that your parents have
ever done in their lifetime. There-fore i accepted aliens as
    one of Gods many creations.

As i studied more and more about them, i started hearing the
stories about many different alien races making a claim that
they are the ones that created human life. At this point, the
battle for my soul began, although i didn't know it yet.

After a little battle with-in, i was finally willing to give it a second
thought and start thinking that maybe we are in a sense, all alien
to this planet. Maybe we all, do have some sort of special abilities
that were put into our dna by the aliens and now they are here trying
to get us to unleash these hidden talents.

As i did further study of aliens, i began finding stories about our creation
that i was just getting to be to much to believe. For instance:

One story i read a few years back, was saying that and alien race, "can't
remember the species right now", were saying that all human life came
from a machine that they built. They just program the machine to any type
of human they wanted and started it up and out the back end, a human would
pop out. That has got to be one of the most ridiculous stories i have ever read.

Anyway, to make a long story short, i've ran across a lot of stories that just totally
make no sense at all and are a total insult to everyones intelligence.

After reading all these stories and the ones that are currently coming out, my
God complex starts coming out and fighting with me and every fiber of my being
is saying that God is the way to go. It's the only thing that make sense to me.

Now that i have shown you a little portion of myself to you, maybe now, you
can understand where i am coming from and also understand that i am not
here as a forum disruptor. I'm just trying to find out why some of you believe
the way you do sense God makes so much more sense to me.

Before i forget, someone here wanted to know why my name is humanalien.

As a teenager, i used to live by a set of railroad tracks. I used to walk these
tracks a lot and just think to myself about many things. I had enough friends
as a teen but i always felt that i never belonged with them or fit in. I used to
walk those tracks and think to myself that i don't belong here "referring to planet
earth". Although i had friends, i just didn't fit in with the crowd. I knew that i
    didn't belong with them.

I've had this female friend of mine that i've known almost, all of my life. We
grew up together. I know here family very well and most of her friends and we
all get along just fine. My friend use to have me over to her house all the time
for cook-outs with her and her family. Probably starting around ten years ago,
that feeling of not belonging began hitting me real hard. My last cook-out with
her was about five years ago and it was a bad experience. It was such a very hot
day that the picnic tables were placed inside of her large garage. For me though,
that feeling of not belonging was so strong that i choose to sit outside, up against
the garage wall where the sun was beating down real hard. One woman there must
have realized that something was wrong with me and came out to try and talk with
me but that didn't help at all. A few minutes later, i left. I haven't been back since.

Still believing in aliens and seeing that my outward appearance is human and the
fact that i believe that i am not from this planet, originally, i put the names human
and alien together to sum up what i thought i really was or am. Still deciding on that
one. But anyway, that name stuck with me.

If you don't understand where i'm coming from yet, let me know.
Apology accepted. A point I would like to make, it sounds to me that you have enough faith that your soul will never be in peril.

What if we're not only humans, but also multidimensional light beings?

What if because we're eternal beings decided to entertain, and created some holographic games -- just because we can?

What if one of the many interactive 3D games we call life on Earth is actually a 'fun place' to experience duality and learn?

What if each one of us chooses what role to play in advance according to their individual progress achieved (points)?

What if some forgot who they are by losing their 'higher self' connection, and by identifying themselves with physical (material world/ego), -- got stuck in the game (karma).

What if everything exists as a dream in 'the mind' of the Creator (Source/Great Consciousness), because of the unconditional love desire to experience everything thru us?

This is just some 'food for thought'.

Please add your own 'what ifs'...

Those are some pretty big if's but i know where you are coming from.
I to read somewhere that everything in the universe, including all life
forms are nothing more than protons of light and that we as individuals
create our own life here on earth. A lot of it does sound pretty interesting.

lol! absolutely not... just in response to your tithing post. I think you were contemplating the virtues of giving to a church.

While I'm at it and in response to ...Father, Son, Holy Spirit...

In regards to the bible I will say this...

Research who Paul (Saul) of the new testament was. IMO, he was an idiot. He was a fanatical, ambitious, jealous fool. An outsider, but used by the insiders to twist meanings and to create religion.

Quote Why are the people at the top of the ladder warlocks and witches?
*cough* if you dont mind...........witches!!!! Perhaps its time I took a stand.

If I achieve nothing else on this forum let it be that I opened the eyes of all members on what can only be described as largest brainwashing and prejudice against women since the inception of the Church.

I state categorically that witches can only be bringers of the light, through understanding the love of God and using the mystical nature of the relationship with the almighty one creator to benefit all mankind.

There are NO satanic witches. If they follow the dark path they cannot be a witch - they are something else (that I do not have words for)

    *****************
If I could humbly ask if you have a spare 10 minutes that you all take some time to read this excellent article to assist in understanding the power of the patriachal church and how they have deliberatly and successfully brought about the down fall of women since its inception.
    http://atheism.about.com/od/christia...atan-Court.htm

Starting as early as 906 the Canon Episocopi, a church law, declared that belief in the existence and operation of witchcraft was heresy.
Pope Gregory IX authorized the killing of witches in the 1200's but it didnt catch on
Pope Innocent VIII declared in 1484 that witches did exist and it was heresy to believe otherwise.

    In part:

Women were regarded as impediments to true spirituality and union with God...The church had a long-standing prejudice against women and this was given vent when the doctrine of devil worship was emphasized as an enemy which the church had to confront and destroy. This animus hasn't entirely disappeared even today.

People typically fear that which they don't understand, so witches were doubly damned: they were feared because they were allegedly agents of Satan seeking to undermine Christian society and they were feared because no one really knew what witches did or how. In the place of real knowledge or information, Christian leaders made things up and created stories which were certain to cause people to hate and fear witches even more.

The persecution of witches reached its zenith at a time when Christianity's attitudes against sex had long since turned into full-blown misogyny. It is amazing how celibate men became obsessed with the sexuality of women. As it is stated in Malleus Maleficarum: "All witchcraft comes from carnal lust, which is in women insatiable." Another section describes how witches were known to ................ (addit by me - read the article)

Joan of Arc is one famous example of a woman who achieved a great deal but was then burned as a witch for her trouble. (later absolved)

    On the trials:
Voluntary testimony from someone as young as two could be admitted despite it not being treated as valid in other cases. This was a sign of just how serious the threat of witches was perceived to be. Witches and witchcraft, both of which were in the service of Satan, threatened the very existence of Christian society, the Christian church, and Christians themselves

....The threats of witchcraft are magnified to such a degree that people no longer feel bound by traditional standards of justice or morality in order to confront their enemies. The consequences are almost always violence and suffering pursued in the name of good and God.
..................but witchcraft in particular was punished by death on the basis of Exodus 22:18: "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live" and Leviticus 20:27: "A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death........

The church's creation of witchcraft and devil worship has exacted a heavy and bloody toll on humanity which still has not yet been fully paid.

....the witch trials have become a symbol of what can go wrong when mobs of ignorant people go crazy, especially when egged on by just as ignorant and/or power hungry leaders.

    *****************

It is not your fault that you believe witches are demon worshiping, shapeshifting technicians, of black magic who can fly thru the air on a broom. That is what you are meant to believe according to the Church and society has perpetuated the myth instilled since childhood - note fairy stories of Hansel and Gretel, Snow White etc. There seems often to be a wicked witch somewhere.

Is it any wonder we still operate under the cloak of secrecy given the prejudices are still clearly alive and well.

    Witchy

PS, I apologise that I am off topic, however the question was asked here. I have kept quiet, ignoring the odd post attesting to the perceived evils that we do and I forgive them their ignorance.

Pehaps we do need a thread to discuss the virtues of the witch and dispel these current beliefs.

Please remember that demonization of Witches is nothing more that brainwashing simply to prevent any matriacial society from ever forming

    Please - no more persecution

    Love and Light

Thank you for the link to the documentary. I have just finished viewing it. It is very enlightening and frightening, too. I feel there still a 'divide and conquer' control on us humans here on earth by 'them'. I am hoping we will discover who 'them' is on this Avalon site.

I state categorically that witches can only be bringers of the light, through understanding the love of God and using the mystical nature of the relationship with the almighty one creator to benefit all mankind.

There are NO satanic witches. If they follow the dark path they cannot be a witch - they are something else (that I do not have words for)

It is like saying that christians, jews, muslims or freemasons can only be good... I am talking about the psychopaths at the top of the ladder not the people at the bottom...

Anton Lavey called them Satanic Witches http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Satanic_Witch

If I could humbly ask if you have a spare 10 minutes that you all take some time to read this excellent article to assist in understanding the power of the patriachal church and how they have deliberatly and successfully brought about the down fall of women since its inception.

It is not your fault that you believe witches are demon worshiping,

This is not a belief... and I am not talking about "all" those who call themselves witches...

beyond denominations it is about the manipulation, control, debasement, perversion of humans by on this plane by entities who wish to create a negative polarity universe by going to the point of pure potentiality...

PS: I don't agree with everything that is said in this video but his point about "chosen ones" and organized and networking covens is accurate

these last couple of centuries have seen the consolidation of power by the PTB while plunging the public into chaos and confusion

if a minority is to rule by secrecy then it's important to debilitate divide and deceive the minds of the masses

the PTB has messed up the minds of most of us so much so that many are not yet aware of the extent of it

many can see through some of the lies and some can see through many of the lies

at this point in time we are all somewhere on this scale of successful discernment between facts and fantasy

it is tragic that so many at the lower end of the discernment skill think themselves at the top of it

still truth is truth no matter what we think it is and it will eventually ablaze itself to those that are truthful - for truth is an intrinsic part of being like love and light

when truth is alight then it's easy to see through the lies

this latest craze about ET is just a propaganda perpetrated by PTB to deny God and the angels

the PTB knows it isn't true but they are up against them and want to take us down with them

Jesus Christ gave God a Name and a Form and He said that we are gods too

but we will never realize this if we don't start to act like gods

if one thinks that a god does not observe God's statutes then one will never raise above speck of dust status

    Hi RedeZra,

When you say that Jesus gave God a form, are you referring to human form? (Luke 17:20-21)

    Please elaborate... Thanks!

    Hi Dan

it is extremly rare for men to realize God within without some help

so God presents Himself as an ideal Man among men so that man can raise to realize God

    Godspeed ; )

Hope that you don't really believe that God is just a male...

What help are you talking about here?

humanalien, give in a light heart, to what brings you joy. No rules... only yours.
Are you calling me a trouble maker?
lol! absolutely not... just in response to your tithing post.

Sorry about the mix up. I wasn't sure what you meant by that post.

As for the tithing thing. It really isn't meant to go to the church pastor
or to the church itself. It was only meant to feed the people after service
was over or maybe even during service jesus did with the fishes and loafs.

I don't have all the answers that you are seeking. If i did, i would be God
and i'm not. If your having touble understanding something biblical, then
please consult your religious book of choice.

I can only tell you what i have read and to some point, maybe even understand
but i can't tell you everything. Sometimes, one just has to do their own homework.

If you don't believe in God or any other religion then that is fine. I don't and won't
hold that against you for any reason and would be proud to call you friend...
