The first half hour of this is an excellent and detailed summary of Putin's new major speech, which is the Russian equivalent of the American State of the Union address — the difference being that it's primarily forward-focused rather than retrospective, and of course, as we could expect from Putin, highly articulate and full of hard information and statistics.

As Mercouris points out, however, the parts of this of primary interest to western politicians and military specialists are his statements about Russian military readiness and capacity, including that about new weapons, now tested and about to be entered into service.

And, as has already been much discussed in western media (rather hysterically!), his statement of deterrence (not a 'threat') in the form of a reminder that Russia has the ability and willingness, if ever necessary, to strike accurately and with devastating force at any target in the world.

Here for another condescendingly polite explanation of failure:

The main success of the Russian army was the blistering advance west of Avdeevka. After completing the mop up operations in Lastochkino, Severnoe and Stepovoe, the Russian military broke through the main line of Ukrainian defense in the region and almost took the full control of it. The Ukrainian military has no chance to regain the initiative and is already retreating across the steppes under heavy Russian artillery fire.

NATO warmongers clearly understand the failure of their bid for Kiev in this war, and no longer hide their plans to enter the battles on the ground. In response, the Russian political elites, as well as its military-industrial complex, demonstrate their full readiness for any development of the conflict. Despite all the efforts by Western leaders to hide it, Russia has been fighting with a NATO military contingent in Ukraine for years. Russian soldiers have already gained successful experience in confronting the Western military machine on the battlefield. While European and American soldiers are nurtured by Western propaganda about this war and have little idea what they may face in the Ukrainian steppes.

That really dangerous regrouping outside of the last Big Fortress looks like this:






It might be fair to say that Ukraine still has a handful of places maybe like a half-strength Avdivka. The net result seems to be Russian momentum everywhere.

It is what I would call a Point of Diminishing Return, a crumbling shell game, perhaps to follow its late backer from England.

I looked into Tom Bearden's book "Gravitobiology" yesterday. It seems the Russians had highly advanced EM weapons in the 1950s and 60s. So this modern today war seems to be fought mainly with kindergarden tech, compared to what must be available. Makes one wonder why.

Maybe because if they did/do use it, it would/could trigger others to do the same (eventually) ... meaning they may not have the exact same tech but what if it gets leaked or copied through other means?

Yes, I agree, and I've often thought exactly the same thing. I wonder why as well, and I can't see any simple answers.

I just remember some comments from Gonzalo Lira:

"Germans excel at technology, Italians at design,Russia at WAR..."

Russia was/is permanent attacked through centuries...that created a pool of alpha men/woman... to be or not to be, be the victor or face extermination from face of the Earth! This country soil is fertilized with the blood from uncountable generations...

For them that actual battlefield is just something like WW2 replay with better weapons... who ever thought Russia could lose against Ukraine plus whatever help is just deluded/ignorant and need to educated himself with a gigantic library of FACTS... beginning from Geography (they no need to transport troops/equipment across the planet...)

Like his principal opponent (the wannabe Empire of the world) always attacking third world countries without air defense/powerful air force ...

This forum is full to the rim with supposed advance technology humans/ET that the Empire of Lies poses...well... do you think for a second that Russia was sleeping?

Just what they show in this conflict is already wayyyyy....advance as whatever the west has to play... Supersonic weapons anybody?, EMP already used on the Black sea in 2015 against "Donald Cook" destroyer? and...U.S.nuclear arsenal attack/defense is obsolete...

you can bet your life that Russia too posses another advance technology but they are for the FINAL WAR, against humans or not...no need to show them right now...
