650 Chilean lawyers drag 'Israel' to ICC court for Gaza genocide
Around 650 Chilean attorneys have filed a formal complaint with the International Criminal Court (ICC) against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for perpetrating genocide in the besieged Gaza Strip.
In the case, "Israel" is accused of crimes against humanity, genocide, and war crimes against Palestinians in Gaza and the occupied West Bank, including East al-Quds.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported today that the number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli occupation forces since October 7 has risen to 31,272, in addition to 73,024 injured.
The IOF committed 10 massacres against families in Gaza in 24 hours only, killing 88 Palestinians and injuring 135 others, it added.
The complainants are seeking an arrest warrant for Netanyahu and other officials involved in the aggression.
The attorneys noted the indiscriminate bombardment of Palestinians since October 7, as well as the demolition of residential communities without regard for people or fighters.
Nelson Haddad, a Chilean lawyer, said attorneys from different Latin American nations are likely to join the case, detailing that “all countries must denounce war criminals, ensuring they are held accountable, assume their responsibilities, face punishment according to the penalties of the Rome Statute, and provide reparations for victims."
Shawan Jabarin, Vice President of the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH), and Professor Rodolfo Marcone-Lo Presti of Chile are among the attorneys who filed the lawsuit.
In December 2023, about 100 Chilean attorneys filed a complaint with the ICC citing the same conviction.
On January 26, the International Court of Justice(ICJ) released a decision in which it admitted that there was a reasonable suspicion that "Israel" was violating its responsibilities under the Genocide Convention by conducting armed operations in Gaza from October 7, 2023.
Meanwhile, Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor accused the ICC prosecutor of a "clear double standard" in dealing with "Israel's" atrocities against Palestinians in Gaza.
The Geneva-based group stated that Israeli crimes extend far beyond the destruction of civilian infrastructure and property.
Concurrently, a Rafah press source told Al Mayadeen that the IOF targeted a vehicle just outside the UNRWA gate at a time when dozens of Palestinians had crowded there.
Four were reportedly killed in the attack and several others were injured.
'Israel' not complying with ICJ orders: Ramaphosa
South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa, confirmed on Monday that "Israel has not been complying with the orders issued by the [ICJ] court."
He continued to assert that South Africa sees "it fit to approach the court on an urgent basis, particularly with the view of addressing the challenges in the Rafah area," as he referred to the massacres being committed in the region by "Israel".
He concluded that further action must be taken as the "people in Gaza are now starving."
South Africa's Foreign Minister Naledi Pandor highlighted earlier how Israeli occupation forces directly killed hundreds of Palestinian civilians just days after and in spite of the ICJ ruling.
“I can’t be dishonest. I believe the rulings of the court have been ignored. Hundreds of people have been killed in the last three or four days. And clearly, Israel believes it has the license to do as it wishes,” she told reporters in Pretoria, deriving parallels between Gaza and Rwanda amid the silence of the world on the Palestinian death toll.
Moreover, Pandor also highlighted how the International Criminal Court treated Benjamin Netanyahu and Vladimir Putin differently in their respective cases. Reportedly, it seemed significantly easier for the ICC to charge Putin for war crimes, but Netanyahu has been let off the hook.

Sayyed Nasrallah: Israeli army fatigued, support to Gaza unwavering
The Islamic Resistance Movement - Hamas is negotiating on behalf of Palestinian Resistance and the entire Axis of Resistance, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, revealed in a talk he held on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan on Wednesday.
Sayyed Nasrallah reiterated in the address that the operations by all supporting fronts are ongoing and will until the Israeli aggression on Gaza is stopped.
"We are entering the sixth month in confronting the aggression on Gaza and on the supportive fronts in Lebanon and Yemen," Sayyed Nasrallah said, highlighting the fact that, in this period, "Israel" has failed to achieve any of its declared goals in the Gaza Strip.
"Gaza, which resists, fights, and perseveres in a scene closer to a miracle [has] astonished the world, representing the culture of the [holy] Quran," the Resistance leader underlined.
"Senior enemy experts acknowledge the strategic losses [of Israel], and today in the sixth month, Netanyahu stands to say if we do not go to Rafah, we have lost the war," he said.
Shedding light on Netanyhu's persistent efforts to invade Rafah, paralleled by Israeli mires in the Gaza Strip and the Northern Front, Sayyed Nasrallah stressed, "We say to Netanyahu, even if you go to Rafah, you have already lost the war, and you cannot abolish Hamas or the Resistance in Gaza despite all the massacres."

We stand with Hamas
He also affirmed the rightfulness of the Resistance's demands of a permanent ceasefire and the complete withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from the Gaza Strip, announcing Hezbollah's support of the decision of Hamas' leadership.
"We affirm our support for the Palestinian Resistance factions, especially the leadership of Hamas, which negotiates on behalf of everyone."
On US President Joe Biden's failure to secure an end to the aggression on Gaza and Lebanon, Hezbollah's Secretary-General said, "With a stroke of a pen, President Joe Biden can stop the aggression on Gaza and Lebanon."
Supporting front steadfast on principles
"Neither the Americans nor the British or any Europeans managed to prevent the Yemeni brothers from striking ships heading to occupied Palestine," he added.
He also highlighted the role of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, which continues to launch missiles and drones at the Israeli occupation's sites.
Israeli military fatigued
"The Israeli army, after 5 months, suffers shortages in many aspects and wants to recruit 14,500 officers and soldiers, even from the Haredim," Sayyed Nasrallah highlighted, adding that the war on Gaza has taken a heavy toll on Israeli society that targets the most sensitive and contended aspects of the entity's structure, such as the recruitment of Ultra-Orthodox Jews to military service.
"The Israeli army today is exhausted and drained on all fronts, and the number of its [casualties] is very large and much greater than declared."
"On the northern front, there is severe secrecy regarding losses in terms of soldiers, military vehicles, and others," he said.
The Secretary-General pointed out that the economic losses in South Lebanon cannot be compared to the significant losses of the occupation in northern occupied territories, which constitute a significant portion of income for the Israeli regime.
"Those who want to assess what the Resistance is doing on the Lebanese front should see the deterrence the Resistance has achieved against the enemy, preventing it from waging a war on Lebanon," Sayyed Nasrallah explained.
"It takes some time, and the Israeli society is showing signs of fatigue, also [reflected on] its army and economy," he added.
"The natural and logical choice in these battles on the fronts of the Resistance [is to be patient]," Sayyed Nasrallah said, promising that "victory belongs to those who endure."
"Our job and responsibility are to [promote] perseverance and resilience [and place] the Axis of Resistance in a position of strength and the enemy in a position of weakness," he explained.
Sayyed Nasrallah concluded his speech by sending a message of gratitude to protesters in the United States demanding an end to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, saying that their continued efforts might "open a door for hope."
