To my surprise (I confess!), Jimmy Dore was featured in this video a couple of days ago with Alexander Mercouris, hosted by Glenn Diesen. It's excellent, and I was impressed with Jimmy Dore to the extent that my opinion of him has changed significantly.

His detailed grasp of global affairs, and his sober articulacy about everything he understands, is something I now appreciate far more than I did.

Yes, Jimmy has the guts to recognize the overwhelming cons he had once accepted as real. He is a great example of the power alive in reading, a comedic scientist who looks at life with an open mind, a challenged intellect and a heart aware enough of its duties to humanity to see the world as it is and to use his creative insights to show us another way of seeing...and listening...sharing primers on understanding context.

Years ago I saw him on an episode of First Nations "Comedy Experience". Way back then his humor was what I'd call shooting fish in a barrel. It was too easy for someone with his depth of honesty to use as his own prose. His words have become the enlightened writings of a man with a lot to say. Well worth the time to listen...

Why do some posters seem to favour posting videos of Jimmy Dore running through a story when simply finding the news item link would save everyone a whole heap of time.

I can read an article in one to three minutes, depending on length/complexity. From there I can investigate further if I am sufficiently interested/concerned/doubtful etc.

I'm certainly not about to sit through 15 - 30 minutes waiting to find out what Jimmy Dore thinks of it all.

I'm with you! I almost always pull up a video and pause it and immediately go to show more and click it to open it up and then I scroll right down to the transcript and click that to pull it up so I can read. If I get through any or part of the reading that catches my interest I note and and how many and gauge as to if the video is worthy or not! Saves me a lot of otherwise wasted video time. I guess that is why I prefer texts over any other way of communicating because the phone and a video chat tie you down where I can answer quickly a text, stay on topic and get right back to what I was doing or had going on in seconds. Just makes sense!

Re the points about Israel:

Israel is killing many, many more people. But it is losing, if not lost. Israel is destroying much more property and displacing thousands of Palestinians and others. Yet it’s losing, if not lost. It’s losing because it’s lost the information war. (Hat tip to Alex Jones and people of his ilk.)

In times past the public was not timely provided information, in those days reasonably more accurate, about what was happening here or there, about this or that. However, due to modern technology information, true or false, good or bad, flows much faster as well as far and wide. Opinions are formed and influence spreads from the grass roots upwards much, much faster, further and farther.

That is a serious problem for the criminal cabals.

Hence, we are being attacked by means of many vectors. Politically, socially, economically, spiritually….

I applaud those who stand up to and shine light on the darkness we have been and are experiencing.

I believe (as best I know) that this is very inaccurate. My words and my analogy here, but Musk realized that he was using a teaspoon to drain a bath that still had the taps full on. And he saw that the whole DC government apparatus would NOT turn off the taps. (The Pentagon budget this year was upped to a whole trillion dollars. To Musk, that was like a slap the face for his efforts.)

He could devote his whole life to this, but it would make no difference.

He very likely also had the door slammed in his face when he stated he wanted to audit the Pentagon (where up 20 trillion dollars or more have gone missing over the years), and also Fort Knox.

Neither will ever happen, but that was not because of any decision of Musk. He had few on his side, maybe (partially) not even Trump, who, backed into a corner, had to do deals with the Deep State.

The final straw was what Musk saw in the 'Big Beautiful' Bill'. That alone placed a fire hose into the bath that Musk and his team was trying to drain.

He's given up. That's why he's moving to Mars.

And my reply was "Your assessment doesn't sound that different from what was said in the video".
Musk is clearly disillusioned and fed up with D.C. but I expect moving to Mars is going to be even more disillusioning because according to Ben Davidson (who knows his stuff), the 12,000 year solar cycle is going to have even more of an impact on Mars than on Earth.
I doubt very much the veracity of the claims the DUMBS were built because of the public's coming reaction to how much AI is going to affect the economy and living standard, as was reported in the video.
