The Directors of Galilee Medical Center and Ziv Hospital say they have increased the level of supplies at a hospital, with Ziv Hospital requesting staff to prepare to stay at hospitals for an extended duration.

"The level of readiness required from us has been high for almost nine months, but now it seems we will need to elevate it further," Masad Barhoum of the Galilee Medical Center was quoted as saying.

Today we find a noticeable upsurge in demoralization:

Israeli Channel 12 reported that, in 2024, around 900 military officers requested to discharge from the army, adding that the annual average of those requests is less than 150.

The channel considered the sharp increase in the number of officers requesting discharge as a “crisis for the state, not just the army,” describing the situation as “worrying.”

Zionist Channel 12 explained that one of the most challenging issues now is keeping officers in important positions within the “army.” It noted that in recent months, it has become evident that officers are inclined to leave the “army” or are considering doing so.

Regarding the reasons for the increase in the number of officers requesting discharge, Zionist Channel 12 mentioned that October 7 was one of the main reasons, along with incentives and bonuses, as well as the de-legitimization campaigns against the “army” by some Israelis and certain politicians.

Haaretz newspaper indicated that dozens of reserve soldiers have announced that they will not rejoin the army even if they get punished.

Meanwhile, the Israeli defense minister Yoav Gallant said the Israeli army needs 10,000 new soldiers immediately, 4,800 of which can be recruited from the ultra-Orthodox community, according to Israeli Channel 12.

This follows the Israeli High Court’s decision last week that ultra-Orthodox men can be drafted for military service, which sparked protests against conscription.

The Israeli media also reported that the occupation army is going to move into the third phase of its war on Gaza, which implies ground withdrawals in parallel with intensification of aerial attacks in order to avoid more of the losses inflicted by the Palestinian resistance.

On the other hand, the Zionist media reported a stormy cabinet session during which all the conferees including Netanyahu voiced approval of the agreement to restore calm on the northern borders, except the two extremist ministers Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich who opposed it.

Of course, since 2024 is only half over, it will probably finish by exacerbating the six-times-normal level of withdrawees so far. If they make it that far.

However, the same anti-Hezbollah propaganda has insisted on promoting the all-out-war choice in the context of a psychological warfare against the social milieu of the resistance. Facts and field conditions confirm that ‘Israel’ is incapable of confronting Hezbollah arsenal.

And the dubious future:

Iraqi Resistance has declared its readiness to support Lebanon in the event of a war launched by ‘Israel’ and the United States. American interests in Iraq and the region are now considered legitimate targets for the Resistance fighters.

The committee’s statement emphasizes the need for firm stances against countries normalizing relations with the Israeli occupation. The Aqaba-Basra oil pipeline project, connecting Southern Iraq to Jordan through Saudi Arabia, is now under scrutiny for potentially facilitating normalization with ‘Israel’, according to the committee.

This is like a small piece of the capability:

It sounds like Netanyahu does not want the Hezbollah trouncing, but he does want Gaza, and it may be difficult to have the one without the other.

I don't actually like taking objective readings on the destructive firepower of the countries. Unfortunately we will probably be finding out more and more about it.
