    ‼️🇺🇦🏴‍☠️The commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine sold the electronic warfare and his fighters were destroyed - radio interception of the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
    ▪️The FPV drone operators of the 132nd brigade of the Russian Armed Forces identified and destroyed a group of infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the settlement of Dzerzhinsk (Toretsk).
    ▪️In the radio interception, the Armed Forces of Ukraine complains that the anti-drone means were sold by the commander and never reached the positions, and now, to cover up this fact, the drone strike is being presented as a mortar attack.
    ▪️Moreover, he fears that those killed by drones may be recorded as "five hundredths", so that this fact does not create problems for the authorities due to the insufficient degree of counteraction to Russian drones. The corruption of the commander, who profited from expensive equipment, led to his subordinates being destroyed by drones of the 132nd brigade of the Russian Armed Forces, which nothing could stop.

    ❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Kursk direction
    Situation as of 17:00 on August 14, 2024

    Localized fighting continues in the Kursk region, no enemy advances are recorded - Ukrainian resources are posting footage from Russian villages that were captured back in the first days of the invasion. There is also a noticeable increase in the number of videos with the defeat of enemy manpower and armored vehicles.

    🔻There are no changes in Korenevo district. Russian troops still hold Korenevo, while the AFU are trying to bypass the settlement from the south and north.

    🔻In Sudzha district the enemy tried to attack near Skrylevka and Kauchuk, but not too successfully.

    In Martynovka, Russian Armed Forces fighters captured a group of enemy infantry, while Mikhailovka appears to remain under enemy control.

    🔻In Belovо district, the situation remains unclear. Footage of strikes on the AFU in the vicinity of Gir'i appeared online, but with a high probability they are archival, and the events depicted there took place in the past day.

    Text:
    What’s known so far about the fighting around Russia’s Kursk region?

    The Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost up to 270 soldiers and 16 armored vehicles in the Kursk region over the past 24 hours, the Russian Ministry of Defense has stated.

    Here are the latest updates on fighting in the area:

    ▪️The losses of the Ukrainian military on August 13 included two tanks, a Stryker armored personnel carrier, 13 armored combat vehicles, as well as 10 vehicles and a 122-mm D-30 howitzer.

    ▪️Russian forces prevented Kiev's attempts to break through in the areas of Skrylevka, Levshinka, Semenovka, Alekseevsky, and Kamyshny.

    ▪️Units of the Russian Armed Forces are in control of the region’s town of Sudzha, with daily clashes there under way, commander of the Akhmat special forces Apti Alaudinov told Russian media.

    ▪️He also said that Kiev planned to seize the Kursk nuclear power plant in Kurchatov on August 11 and use it as an ultimatum to start negotiations with Moscow.

    ▪️The main goal of the Kursk attack was to distract Russian troops from the Donbass and Slobozhanshchina region, a mission that has never been was accomplished, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

    ▪️"The Ukrainian military’s attacks on Russian territory with the complicity of NATO patrons fully confirm the relevance of the goals and objectives of Russia’s special military operation to de-Nazify and demilitarize Ukraine, which will be achieved by all means,” Zakharova stressed.

    ▪️Ukrainian forces indiscriminately fire at civilians trying to evacuate from danger areas, shell residential buildings and civilian infrastructure, and engage in outright looting in the Kursk region, she added.

    ▪️US President Joe Biden has meanwhile commented on the Kiev regime’s aggression for the first time by claiming that it “created a real dilemma” for Russian President Vladimir Putin.

    I have to concur with you Bill, I also think he meant his commanders. He also said he wasnt shooting at anybody and he is practically crying when they tell him he was shooting at civilians. I think he is really remorseful.

    In his video update for yesterday, Alexander Mercouris makes a very smart guess as to how come the Kursk incursion came about. Starting at 37:09, he suggests the following‚ which seems entirely plausible and maybe even likely:
    1. The Russians learned about this Ukrainian plan as far back as 2 months ago.
    2. They contacted the US straight away, and the US gave firm assurances that this would not happen.
    3. Of course, the US immediately told the Ukrainians about the Russians' foreknowledge.
    4. This reassured the Russians that this planned incursion would not take place.
    5. But some Russian military commanders decided (or were ordered) to take precautions nonetheless, even though they felt this might not be necessary.
    6. The Ukrainians launched their incursion anyway.
    7. This would fully explain Putin's anger, and also the Chinese anger (who would also have been told by the Ukrainians that no such thing was planned.)

    General Alaudinov: So much enemy equipment has been destroyed that the enemy soldiers remaining in the Kursk region have no opportunity to go back

    According to General Alaudinov, in total, about 12 thousand Ukrainian military personnel and foreign mercenaries invaded the Kursk region. The Akhmat commander emphasizes that it was difficult on the first day of the operation, primarily due to the fact that it was difficult to determine where our units were located, where the enemy had managed to advance, and what the number of personnel and equipment the Ukrainian Armed Forces had. No less confusion was caused in the actions of our forces by numerous fakes that spread across the Internet.
    Apti Alaudinov:

    However, later the situation stabilized. Already on the first day, together with special operations forces units in the area near Martynovka, we destroyed 32 units of equipment, on the second - more than twenty, on the third - 12.

    The commander of the special forces "Akhmat" emphasizes that the enemy who invaded the territory of the Kursk region loses so much equipment that our soldiers have already stopped trying to determine in which country it was produced.

    General Alaudinov:

    This equipment burns so well... Just from the technology alone, it is clear that the operation was discussed and prepared collectively, by the entire NATO bloc. And today there is so much destroyed enemy equipment that the Ukrainian military remaining in the Kursk region are losing the opportunity to even go back with it.

    The Hero of Russia emphasizes that the destruction of both equipment and manpower of the Ukrainian Armed Forces continues:

    Against the backdrop of our destruction of their weapons, they stopped traveling in herds. They try to move in small groups - up to 20 people. They appear on pickup trucks; they even snatched someone’s GAZelle. That is, our own equipment is no longer enough.

    The general noted that the military goal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces operation was to capture the Kursk region, a number of strategic objects, and enter the territory of the Belgorod region with its partial capture:

    But it is already clear that the planned blitzkrieg of the enemy failed.

    Vicus comment:

    First at all we must understand that right now trough the fog of war there is another war too:
    Information war, like in this video stayed ukros are using old videos from the beginning their invasion...
    and the Russian are suspicious silent...and then the fortification defense line...
    That seam to me like similar defense lines where the ukros were crushed last year...
    Under the motto "let them come and when they are all together"...

    • Ukraine Has LOST Against Russia, NATO is About to be in a BIG CRISIS- Ex-UN Asst. Secretary-General & Current EU-MEP Michael von der Schulenburg:
    On this episode of Going Underground, we speak to the ex-Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations and current Member of the European Parliament Michael von der Schulenburg. He discusses Olaf Scholz’ foreign policy and his conduct in the Russia-NATO proxy war in Ukraine and why Germany will pay the price for its failed policy, why the European political elite is ‘detached from reality’ with its unrealistic goal of Ukraine and NATO winning against Russia, the US’ stationing of long-range missiles in Germany and why this is a sign of weakness instead of strength, why a big crisis looks for NATO at the end of the proxy war in Ukraine, the extreme pro-war stance of the European Union and complete rejection of any possibility of peace, Europe’s increasing international isolation and delusional mentality that it is still a great power, and the dominance of the Western white world coming to an end. In the second half of the interview, he discusses Germany’s refusal to release the results of its investigation into the Nordstream pipeline sabotage, the decline of the US as a superpower along with Western power, the new extreme anti-Russia EU Foreign Minister Kaja Kallas and why the European Union is doomed to uselessness, the endless economic crisis EU countries are experiencing and the failure of sanctions, and much more.

    Yes Bill, I get the same meaning, he was expressing disgust with his commanding officers with shooting at civilians, you can tell he is sincere, not simply deflecting blame...I think so anyway!

    RUSSIAN ARMY REPELS MORE UKRAINIAN ATTACKS IN KURSK (VIDEOS)

    The Russian military had repelled several attacks by Kiev forces in the direction of Kursk, the Ministry of Defense announced on August 15.

    In a briefing, the ministry said that the Sever Group of Forces repelled an attack by Ukraine’s 115th Mechanized Brigade near the settlement of Kremyanoye.

    It added that more attacks were thwarted when the group launched strikes against the 82nd Air Assault Brigade south of Kremyanoye and of the 80th Air Assault Brigade west of the settlement Russkaya Konopelka. Ukrainian losses amounted to 90 troops, five American-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicles and six armored fighting vehicles.

    The Sever Group of Forces also routed the Ukrainian formations and restored the control over the settlement of Krupets, pre the ministry.

    In addition, a series of strikes by warplanes and drones foiled Ukrainian attempts to break through to the Russian territory close to the settlements of Varvarovka, Safonovka, Sheptukhovka, Kauchuk, Alekseyevskoye and Matveyevka.

    Other strikes strikes hit gatherings of the 22nd, 61st mechanized, 92nd assault brigades, 95th Air Assault Brigade, the 1st National Guard Brigade and the 129th Territorial Defence Brigade close to the settlements of Olgovka, Snagost, Pogrebki, Mirnoye, Aleshenka, Uspenovka and Yuzhnoye.

    The ministry also said that a strike with an Iskander-M tactical ballistic missile destroyed a convoy of 15 fuel supply vehicles close to the settlement of Lubny in the neighboring Ukrainian region of Sumy.

    Exclamation Re: WW3? Ukraine/US vs. Donbass/Russia

    As Ukraine's offensive in Russia's Kursk region enters its second week, Moscow has escalated its defense by deploying powerful glide bombs, previously used for deep strikes in Ukraine. Now, facing mounting pressure, Russia's Air Force has unleashed massive 3,000 kg FAB-3000 Aerial Bombs from Su-34 fighter-bombers, targeting Ukrainian forces in the Sumy region. Russian state media claims these strikes inflicted heavy damage and that Ukrainian troops are retreating. Could this be the turning point in the conflict, or is it just another phase in the ongoing battle? Stay tuned to explore the details!

    “I would have killed them myself.”
    ~~~
    I paused when the translation said he'd said that, but I'm certain he was talking about killing his own commanders rather than obeying an order to kill civilians. The man was in distress.
    Yes Bill, I get the same meaning, he was expressing disgust with his commanding officers with shooting at civilians, you can tell he is sincere, not simply deflecting blame...I think so anyway!
    I have just now read your posts. Thank you all.
    I regret highly my post.
    Your interpretation, fellow members, had occurred to me.. I discounted it.
    I do not want to justify my comment – how could I – I can understand neither spoken Russian nor Ukrainian.
    But he point is that I judged Stepan Andreevich – what I have always wanted not to do, and what I did. May the Russian military not be as shallow as I was. May my remorse help his remorse.
    First at all we must understand that right now trough the fog of war there is another war too:
    Information war, like in this video stayed ukros are using old videos from the beginning their invasion...
    and the Russian are suspicious silent...
    I'm not sure Russia is playing "information war".
    There are far better reasons *not* to say anything for three days or a week. The results will speak for themselves.
    It is like the lack of an "instant" attack by Iran in the wake of what happened to Haniyeh.
    Nothing is really there for us to grab onto what's happening on the spur of the moment.
    Ukraine is like CNN, "fast and first, not true" It is the strategy I call "say something". Russia and most Islamic speakers don't have this twitch. In fact, it has always seemed to me one of the strongest signs of immaturity.
    The very idea that Ukraine amounts to any significant invasion of Russia is dust of the brain. Cross-border skirmishes, yes, of course, they can inflict some damage, but in the military sense, they can't do anything. Soil the diapers maybe.
