Good job Bill.

This type of drama happens with every single tight-knit online community I've ever been a part of.

Spending all day every day doing pretty much anything is self-destructive and will usually blow up in your face eventually. That's what happened to Celine and Richard in my view.

I hope they learned their lesson and balance their lives a little better in the future.

I am a member of another forum where this never ever happens.

We have so many safety valves, nothing like this can happen.

We are so tightly knit and have been together for over a decade, that any rant is laughed away, sure members get banned, but the level of forgiveness among the members is astounding. Within a week every member is calling for the reinstatement of the banned individual.

Oh yes......ADMIN IS HIGHLY RECEPTIVE TO THE VOICE OF THE MEMBERSHIP. THEY ARE ONE OF US.......NOT ALOOF GODS.

This is a key to the success of this other forum.

In many years there has been no blow up which has been the bane of the Avalon saga from the go get.

We allow egos to flourish. There is NEVER disrespect or antagonism toward any view, unless its laughter which is gracefully accepted in a spirit of comradeship.

Anyone can hold any view and can say anything they want. No speech is taboo or edited out. Freedom of speech is paramount.

WE RESPECT EACH OTHER IMPLICITLY. And we forgive our human frailties without talking down or assuming some god like position.

Oh yes again, WE HAVE NO RULES, but one, no material that is associated with children in any way. You cannot post a pic of a child on that forum or you will be banned.

No rules prevents members from leveraging against other members to get them banned. No member can call a foul. You live and die by your posts and the members rule.

We are few, maybe 50 of us. We are mostly older men and women. Most are military veterans. No subject is taboo.

So, there are forums that do not experience what happens on most forums. But it is rare.

Just a thought, but could all of this be a deliberately manufactured distraction to divert our attention away from something else really important?

Maybe it's just a coincidence, or maybe I have a swollen head (ego), but it was shortly after I started the thread "United People - an alternative world order" that all this disharmony was suddenly unleashed.

The thought just crossed my mind....

I thought I had better throw it out there, even at the risk of becoming a laughing stock or being tarred and feathered. It could be important.

The distraction is deliberate if unconscious. The manipulation of drama addicted people is very easy for 4th dimensional STS entities. Uplifting threads like yours provide no food or "loosh for them. Threads like this are virtual farms for their hunger. The manipulated ones generating a steady stream. The attackers and word benders are of particular value to them.

I give these links again in the hope of curtailing their next meal.

The young man who pushed Celine and Richards buttons was in touch with me at the time all this was going on last night,
He was greatly influenced by Gypsy Woman.
I pointed out some things to him, ie that she tended to create problems and was a bit paranoid though I liked her.
I asked him to stop provoking the situation, I warned him that perusing what he believed to be true could be to the cost of many.
That it could lead to the end of Avalon.
I told him that he only had part of the picture. Who has the whole picture here?
His nose was out of joint as he felt he has significant information regarding Charles which had been ignored by Bill and the Mods.
He told me had given the info to admin. I dont know what the information is,

He persisted in baiting Celine inspite of my advice and see the end result.
Now here was a person who as far as I know had only been here a short time bringing down on purpose two people who have served Avalon for years.
Every one has a weak spot and if you know that weakness it is easy to provoke a response and further more when you know what the response will be it is irresponsible to continue. He did

Charles is very astute, he said that people of integrity are the easiest to manipulate as they follow set rules of behavior.
He also said that divisive thing tend to happen around him.
I like Charles, I would not follow him, but his appearance here was miss handled.
Since that video was released on u tube and here we have seen turmoil like never before.

I dont take sides though I care about Avalon, Bill, Richard and Celine. (in no particular order)

Thank you so much for your comments Chris. As I saw the thread developping yesterday, I got involved when I saw Lee directly provoking Richard and then laughing at his reaction. However, I do not blame Lee either, the thread should have been closed earlier.

Some people snappped, as we all did somewhere in our life and yes, forgiveness is necessary when this happens.

Richard working 40 hours per week more on the forum over and above his regular job (I presume), Celine raising the kids alone her husband being overworked, and being bipolar (which is very difficult to live with), Lee coming from somewhere I am not aware of and Bill urgently closing the thread,

Foregiveness is required here as well as communication and clarification between the snappers. From their heart and mind (the mind alone won`t suffice).

i seem to be sat in the midst of a critical mass.

IF we perpetuate this, and allow this thing to pass from person to person, it will destroy everything.
i dont want this to sound anti bill. the truth is, ordinarely i wouldnt post it,
with much appreciation to bill, HE isnt the be all and end all. WE ARE.
we are the 'thriving' in a thriving forum, we are the fabric.
if we all left tommorow what would avalon be then?.

about a week after i first came here i nearly left
i could go into details, but its really nothing much, and i ended up staying anyway.
i just felt disillusioned. and as i rated this site quite highly,
i went on to become disillusioned with the alternative scene generally.
and made the decision to give it all up.

over the years ive got so much from the alternative scene.
out there... or in here!, there most of the answers to every question you might think of asking.
(though my experience is, at the very moment i finish asking myself the question correctly, the answer appears.)
once you get on a path, and you find a source of information, and like minded people, its very hard to put it down,
and the more you find out, the more you imerse yourself into it.

i bet as what passes for time progresses they will tell us the absolute truth about who we are and the meaning of everything.
but it will be delivered in the same old format. and the truth is, we dont have to be just 'recipients' who have our experience,
detrmined for us by someone else, actually WE are the ones with all the power here, whatever happened to a bit of self determination?

get this truth seekers, the truth is exclusive of all other things.
you cant be 50% true, or even 99% the truth is 100%.
if you really seek it, then getting wrapped up in anything else is a waste of time and effort.

i'm glad ive stayed because ive learned a few good things, my favourite is tuning instruments down to 432hz.
i read here somewhere that there are two types of person, those who build things, those who break them.
i'm one of those who builds things. the idea destroying good things is offensive to me.
and generally i will meet it with resistance when i encounter it.
which is why those with a like mind, can spot the opposite a mile off.
you will get out of an experience what you put into it.

Well I'm just gutted...

Even as I'm relatively new here, I've made acquaintances/friends on ALL sides of this issue (think what you will about that). It's been very painful to watch this drama (HERE of all places!) for a variety of reasons. The following is a (probably incomplete) casualty list from my point view.

Lost members...
Celine
Richard
Beth
Lee-B
Gypsy Woman
...maybe others to come

Wounded principles:
Peace
Civility
Cooperation
Trust
Silence
Attention to matters of higher priority
Unity

The piece of this that really gets under my skin the most is the part where Richard loses his cool defending Celine. What this reminds me of is something that should be known to most of you as an example from Bill's interview with Charles. Charles say that (paraphrasing) "a good/honorable man is the easiest target b/c you can always predict how he will act."

How easy is it to provoke an explosive, emotional reaction by insulting a man's wife from halfway around the world? How hard is it to recover from that reaction with your dignity, integrity, etc. in tact when your reaction was essentially public?

This was an easy and successful op in my opinion, not worthy of the score it racked up... And WE all lose, again. Nothing new under the sun...

I want to add that Bill's reaction was as predictive as Richard's reaction had been. And for the same "good men with integrity" reasons.

Permit me to add an observation I’ve just said to another member here:

There’s undoubtedly a back door on this site that ‘someone outside’ can access to read PM’s and then relay the info to another smurf/agent or to innocent members that the outsider wishes to entangle. The recipient never knows who really hacked the PM’s.

It’s the perfect plot: Leave everyone supposedly ‘involved’ here feeling rightfully abused but actually blameless since they did not, in fact, read anyone else’s mail and therefore, let them start swinging wildly at each other, blaming the other guy.... Yup. Sit back and let them destroy each other as the real miscreant watches from, oh, back at Langley.

I trust that cooler heads here will eventually prevail. Richard, Celine and Bill all deserve another chance here. I think they’ve been played.

If you were head for TPTW/TPTB who would you contact?

You might not even have to be a hacker. The backdoors maybe are there from the beginning.

Anyway, there still are backdoors everywhere. Somtimes you need a key, sometimes you need explosives.

It's a matter of who has the most glitches, my "software vehicle", the software creation, or the software of the programmers.

I've been reading these posts all day, and believe me, I've been pondering the whole thing, starting with the events of yesterday that seem to be the catalyst. This is my conclusion-

Ever feel like you're being swept away by a raging river, and even though you know you could take some drastic, (or not so drastic) measure, and free yourself of the power that's controlling you, for some reason you just know there's something way bigger at play, so you do nothing and just go with it?

From what I've seen since I became a member, Celine, Richard, and Bill are all intelligent people, so none of them went into this blindly. It's almost as if some huge hand reached down from the sky, like some puppet-master, and manipulated these three, and I will go a step further and purpose that there's a way bigger picture. (No, I don't mean trolls sneaking around, or evil agents whose sole purpose is to disrupt.)

Celine knew that if she put it out there, in the open, the comments she made about Bill not keeping his word with her, and how he's a different person in the public then he is in private, and how the mods have been putting up with a lot behind the scenes, that she was opening herself up to criticism and ridicule, but also calling upon herself the wrath of Bill. And yet she forged ahead.

Richard, the man who always represented to me the epitome of calmness, loses his professionalism with the one thing that I, frankly, was shocked to see him do, and with very little provocation...he cursed and banished a member who was provoking his wife.

And Bill...usually cool, calm, and collected, the master of balance, keeping the peace, giving all but the most hardened violators the boot...he, banishes Richard who has volunteered way beyond what any normal person would do, giving his best to running Avalon in a professional way, for how many years?

I don't know about anybody else, but this just doesn't make any sense to me, and that's why I couldn't even figure out how I felt about this.

Confused to say the least.

It's like someone put a script into each of their hands, and by some sub-conscious plan, they all just played their parts, like actors/actress on some stage.

I know that in my life there have been situations just like this, where some unseen force took me by the hand and led me down the path, and in my zone, I actually felt safe and secure that if I played the part, all would eventually end up in the exact place it needed to be.

That's the only conclusion I can come up with.

This is meant to be.

Bill will find himself, in one month's time (or there-abouts), in a different place then he was right before this happened, and of course, so will Richard and Celine.

In that time frame in the future, when it becomes all too apparent where the end result of this exercise has taken us, let us remember March 1st and 2nd, 2011.
