Research by the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, ASPI shows

In 20 years, China has swapped places with the United States, which once reigned supreme in the technology sector.

In 2003–2007, China was the leader in just three of 64 technologies, but is now the leader in 57 of 64 technologies (for the period 2019–2023), increasing its lead compared to the 2018–2022 ranking, where it was the leader in 52 technologies.

The United States led in 60 of 64 technologies from 2003 to 2007, but has led in only seven over the past five years (2019–2023).

It is clear that the US has not been able to maintain its historical technological advantage over the past 20 years. Yes, the US still leads in some areas, but US technological hegemony is a thing of the past.

China is catching up quickly through massive investments in its own technologies and the creation of highly efficient institutions.

Even if the US were to launch a national technology campaign on the scale of the space race of the 1960s, it would take about 20 years to catch up.

Did a search for this on google.news and there are multiple mainstream stories about how this is fake news and some of those stories are four days old. Here is the basic argument for that:

The story originated from the website kbsf-tv.com on September 2, 2024. The website was registered on August 20th (less than two weeks before). It seems the website is no long up and running but there is a mirror of the page here: https://web.archive.org/web/20240903...e-crime-scene/ The video is no longer available on the mirror.

The headline from news.yahoo.com is How Russia spread a fake rumour about Kamala Harris and a hit-and-run. Of course there is ZERO information in the Yahoo article to back that up, so it is clear that Yahoo is just as fake as kbsf-tv.com.

I'm sure this likely did really happen; equally sure this woman suffered the injuries, as described, and is wheelchair bound. The question is--was Kamala Harris the driver? If so, was she named in the police report? Likely not.

In other words, Kamala Harris's alleged involvement is mute.

This is a nothing burger, whatever happened. And even if real evidence was buried, or covered up, it's long since erased from history. Kamala Harris would have had the power, at the time, as attorney general of the State of California, to make it all go away.

Agreed. And as I understand it, the victim did not actually see KH. She was told by her mother that its was KH. That’s alone a serious proof problem called hearsay. We are told her mother is now dead. If so, there is no direct evidence she, the mother, can provide that it was KH. And even if mom was alive and had spoken up long before, questions would have been raised then and now about mom’s perception of the event and the identity of the driver she saw on a dark night while under a highly charged emotional state. Not to mention questions directed to her credibility.

All this story has to go on is the victim’s recollection of mom’s statement that it was KH. In short, true or not, this story has nothing to go on.

I agree, Kamala will never be charged with anything pertaining to this incident.
But if the story gets enough attention it would likely create more speculation as to whether Kamala is a practicing alcoholic or if she is on some kind of drugs, which would help to explain her strange behavior.
It would probably take one or more of her many disgruntled former staff members to really bring that possibility to light, though they would no doubt have to remain anonymous to avoid the possibility of being "suicided".

The incident took place at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in Georgia just after 10am on Tuesday.

Watch as a CSX freight train crashes into a semi-truck carrying a military army tank.

Wild video captured earlier this afternoon in Goose Creek, South Carolina shows an 18-wheeler carrying a military tank getting stuck on railroad tracks and being struck by a CSX freight train.

Numerous bystanders witnessed the incident. Officials reported that the truck, using a lowboy trailer to transport an M109 Paladin Howitzer tank, became stuck while crossing the tracks. The oncoming train collided with the truck, causing significant damage.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the driver refused treatment. ‘It’s not every day you see a tank get smashed by a train,’ some workers joked.
