    Default Healing Techniques Recommendations

    Hi Folks,

For various reasons I am focused on healing techniques and wanted to see if any of you have had success with any specific modalities.

I am growing familiar with William Bengston's work as well as the work of Alberto Villoldo.

Any wisdom you would share in this area would be greatly appreciated.

    Jim

I have been consistently using Dr Joe Dispenza's walking meditations along with grounding... It has all but relieved me of mental and to an extent physical illness as well.. I am also taking ashwaghanda and medicinal (not magical) mushroom supplements for the last 2 years and swear by them.

    I use this brand:

Lion's Mane and Ashwaghanda make a potent combo!

I loved Bengston's book The Energy Cure. Although I struggle with the cycling technique. I also spent a month trying to mummify a banana..lol. Not sure if you saw his presentation on YouTube about that, but it sorta worked for me. It was definitely a good exercise in working with energy.

I have never heard of Alberto Villoldo. If you have any books to recommend, I would greatly appreciate it!

I am currently experimenting with plasma in the form of Gans (Mehran Keshe's research). I place the glass mason jar with the Gans solution on the problem area that I have for approx 10 mins a day. I've only been doing this for a few days, but I do feel less inflammation.

I also had a dream about healing in 2017, where I was told that fractals contain healing energy (hence my user name ). I knew the dream had significance because I didn't know what a fractal was at the time, and I was 47 years old (how embarrassing). It has been quite difficult finding any research on fractals, with the exception of Dan Winter's work, but for the life of me I cannot understand what he is talking about. I wish his research could be simplified for the layman.

Acupressure technique is a proven technique that I've used on my wife successfully many times over the years. One needs an accurate acupressure chart such as this one.

Let's say for example a person has sprained lower back muscles. So the first step in this case is look for a prime meridian line that is near where the lower back muscle symptoms lie. It is best if there are some red dots close to the treatment area. The red dots on the meridian lines indicates primary acupressure points, while the black dots indicate minor acupressure points.

Then follow that Qi meridian line to the toes area. There will be several red dots in the toe area. With the thumb, while applying moderate pressure rotate the thumb in a clock-wise direction for several minutes. Take a rest when your thumb gets tired and resume the circulation motion with the thumb. If you have located the proper acupressure area to rotate your thumb, the patient should experience moderate to severe pain. If the patient doesn't experience some degree of "pain" sensation, then adjust your thumb position until the patient indicates sensation beyond the normal base level of sensation.

An alternative treatment is also to use Qi application directly to the afflicted area. To continue the same back muscle problem treatment with direct application of Qi, have the patient point to or indicate where the actual back pain is. Then rub your two hands together rapidly back and forth to generate heat then apply light pressure with your two hands to the area with the back muscle pain. The Miyagi character in "The Karate Kid" demonstrated this at one point in the movie. After a few minutes lift your hands to rub together to generate heat (Qi) for a few seconds and apply pressure again for few minutes. Keep repeating this as long as you can, say 10 to 15 minutes of treatment or longer if you can. While doing this treatment summon up a feeling of compassion and healing wishes for the patient. This method is easy to use and most people can use it with some practice. It is best if you can meditate before using this method but not necessary.

Fasting. It is the supreme self-healing tool. In addition, green smoothies/juices, stretching, meditation, reducing screen time, walks in nature.

Thank you for the responses. I meant to get back earlier.

Alberto Villoldo's book is called "Shaman, Healer, Sage". His focus is on Inka (I think) techniques and he has studied quite a bit about this. There are people who are not fans but that is the nature of the beast.

Thank you for the offer of prayers.

Where I was trying to go with this is to understand the nature of how change occurs in both the physical and metaphysical realms. What is it that allows for change? For example, Bengston thinks the human mind gets in the way, and I can see how that would make sense. Villoldo talks about the ability to see energetic forms outside what most people see and to use techniques to work with those energies to fix things, both in material form and in other forms.

Ultimately, I suppose I am very pragmatic. I see things spinning out of control and these healing modalities speak to the way Universe seems to work not just for healing but in every way. Knowledge there might prove to be quite helpful, to say that least.

Hope that makes sense. I have left a lot unsaid but the folks here might find this resonates with them...

    Thank you.

Back in 1972, I took a seminar called, “Silva Mind Control”. In summary:
"Mind control, i.e. ‘control of mind’ is where you develop and use higher senses. You train self to awaken to this power. We learn much more than how to relax, end insomnia, relief from headaches, stop smoking, lose weight, improve memory and effective study."
In the Alpha state (and with practice in the Theta state), you can enter at will and still remain fully alert. You come to understand how you program yourself through your thoughts and words. You change limited beliefs, expanding knowledge and understanding.

The power of words are greatly amplified in meditative levels of consciousness. So rather than a repetition of affirmations, you only need to say it once during meditation @ Alpha and Theta levels.

    1) Words have special powers at deep levels of mind.
    2) The mind has much firmer command over the body than is given credit for.
    3) We are always conscious.

You don't need to take the workshop. The book has all the techniques. And for many folks it may be second nature especially with all the information shared across the internet now. I just discovered there are several workbooks.

Presently, I’m reviewing the book and brushing up on the techniques. What works best for me is to keep it simple. Most of it is second nature and I see how much I still use 50+ years later.

Here are examples of outcomes from the various techniques:
Michael, my son, was about 10 months old at that time. He was born with a growth near the corner of his eye. I used one of the healing techniques which was simply to see it not there. I forgot about it until days later. It was gone. It took only seconds and the one application. It was a concrete example of how beliefs influence my life. Ever since, I'm mindful of the language I use.

We learned how to zap clouds and I went on to show kids how to zap them. You just visualize them gone. In the case where there’s a lot of cloud cover, just zap a hole in them.

There were several methods to use when something is misplaced. One was I emptied the mind and see the object. Then I zoomed out for a larger perspective. The second technique was to say, “It’ll show itself soon”. It worked because I’ve reprogramed my belief. The third method was before I went to sleep, I'd program myself to recall where it was upon awaking. That was then. Now, I simply see it in my mind.

Another technique was how to detect trouble spots in the body. To practice we paired up. One person provided the person’s name and the state where they lived. The name on the card was “Joshua”. Before his name was spoken, I began to have trouble sitting up. I felt dizzy and like I was choking. My tongue got in the way when I tried to talk.

Then, I applied what’s called the ‘helmet technique’. Which was to put an energetic helmet of Joshua over my head. A visual popped up. He was a little boy about 4 who was mentally challenged, with poor balance. I picked up that there were things he wanted to say but it was frustrating to him that he couldn’t express himself. I had a sense that there were great ideas locked up. But by that point I stopped because I felt like I was making up a story.

The information provided after I finished was that Joshua was 4 or 5 years old (I’ve forgotten his age) and he was mentally challenged. Today, I wouldn’t use the helmet technique. Now, I scan the body.

Shortly after I had finished that seminar, I discovered one of the attachments to my vacuum cleaner went missing. I searched the usual places over and over until I remembered the technique. I emptied my mind and zoomed out for a larger perspective. It made no sense that it’d be in the top shelf of living room closet in a box of old stuff but that’s where it was.

I also I use the three finger method which is you put your thumb, index and middle fingers together while you:
    1) go down to level
    2) to recall
    3) to ask questions.
My sister was annoyed that she couldn’t get a copy her x-ray. Her thought was it’d make it easier to heal herself if she had the visual. My suggestion was rather than see it broken, visualize it healed. (Also she could find an image on-line.)
None of the above is New Age magical. It’s what we all can do. It’s simply about changing your belief system(s) and practice.

    Hi all

I absolutely recommend MCKS Pranic Healing. It is a part of what i offer (so bias, vested interest etc) and is the only modality if have found to be an ally with Energy Hygiene. This world (as the wise here are well aware) is by design meant to be unhygienic in many ways. Multidimensionally especially. Because this level of operation is seldom appreciated let alone accepted. It does not revolve around doing more to an individual. The basic level ( i only needed to do the first level) only is about clearing our body for its natural ability to exist clear to flourish.

The absolutely awesome thing about it is the spleen. From the Pranic Healing perspective. The spleen is like a USB power port to the universal life force all around us. Entities, hacks, misguided hits by people. Who target this region to block it. Or, in entities perspective. Hook a meridian link / testicle into the spleen to feed off our nourishment etc. Limits people ability to recover. So, the vast majority of people are running on 20-30% of their life force then have the potential to have. Things like why people don't wake up can be appreciated. You know what its like to take on board some world shattering info etc. People just don't have the energy recources to integrate a new challenging to their paradigm perspective. Thus, for their own management from a limited life force management. Stay where they consciously are. If people were to get their energy back..More is potential.

These entities can insert the emotional issues to feed of the mental / drama etc to. This can be taken to another level with the Internet Of Things / Body Sabrina Wallace gets into (Odysee / Rumble) etc. Re what's gone on these last few years.

Pranic Healing for me has been an ally enduring, maintaining myself, being a massive ally to the targeted, hit, beaten up by this world clients etc. Our body's really are nourished by it.

I hope this puts it a bit on the map for you guys. The first level is very cheap and easy. You start feeling energy between your hands in the first 30mins. The creator of it was aiming for there to be a practitioner in every household world wide. So, this logic means it cannot be complex. Imho everyone into this stuff should look to explore the healer path. Even just to protect yourself from people not aware. And, the stuff that can come through the internet, mobile tech etc.

    Best of luck all

I have treasured Jonathan Parker's lessons for years. I believe they had a key part in my own personal healing and growth, 30 or so years ago, when he offered lessons on cassette tapes sold thru mail order.
I am thrilled that he is still well and still sharing his personal insights with the public.

Here is a link to his lessons and guided meditations on his youtube channel:
    https://www.youtube.com/@heartWithLight

and below is his latest video that seemed to fit here on this healing thread:

Quote "How Your Life is a Reflection from the Mirror Universe"

What if every experience you encounter, every interaction you have, and every event that unfolds in your life is not random but an exact reflection of the energy, beliefs, and thoughts you carry deep within? This is the profound truth behind the concept of the universe as a mirror—a mystical law that governs not only your external reality but also your inner world.

In essence, the universe acts like a perfect, unbiased mirror. It reflects back to you precisely what you hold in your consciousness, whether these are conscious intentions, unspoken fears, unresolved emotions, or hidden desires. The universe responds to every choice, thought, and belief you carry, creating your reality in perfect alignment with what you project—consciously or unconsciously.

PART 2: Healing Through the Light Process Meditation

The second part of this transformational journey involves a guided miraculous light process meditation to align you with higher vibrations of love, peace, and balance. This process helps clear unconscious blocks and distorted beliefs, allowing you to shift what you project into the universe.

Unveiling Fascia: The Role of Connective Tissue in Pain and Mental Health Treatment
    Analysis by Dr. Joseph Mercola
    October 26, 2024
    https://articles.mercola.com/sites/a...&rid=149035752

    https://media.mercola.com/ImageServe...entary-pdf.pdf

(This is less esoteric healing info than may have been intended for this thread, but it's definitely about healing from a more holistic POV than allopathic. )

    Story at-a-glance
“The Fascia Movie” explores how fascia, a long-overlooked connective tissue, forms a continuous network throughout the body and is crucial for health, pain perception and movement
Recent research reveals fascia's complex role in immune function, fluid dynamics and hormone response, prompting a paradigm shift in understanding human anatomy
Fascia-focused therapies show promise in treating conditions like frozen shoulder and referred pain, revolutionizing pain management and physical performance optimization
Five key factors influence fascia health: movement, hydration, stress management, diet and sleep. New therapies like Deep Wave Therapy are emerging
Ongoing fascia research can transform health care approaches to chronic diseases, aging, and holistic healing, bridging gaps between Eastern and Western medical traditions
"The Fascia Movie" is a fascinating documentary about fascia — a component of our anatomy that has long been overlooked, but is now emerging as a crucial system that may revolutionize how we approach health and healing.
Fascia is essentially a web of connective tissue that surrounds virtually every part of our body — from muscles and bones to organs and individual cells.
    As the documentary explains:1

"Imagine that every part of the body is wrapped in connective tissue. These webs are in turn connected together, and form one of the body's basic frameworks, holding everything in place. This web throughout our body is the fascia."

What's remarkable about fascia is that it forms a continuous network with no beginning or end. It's not just an inert packing material, but a dynamic system that plays vital roles in your health and function.

    A Paradigm Shift in Anatomy
For centuries, Western medicine has taken a reductionist approach to the human body, dissecting it into discrete parts and systems. While this has yielded tremendous insights, it has also led us to sometimes miss the forest for the trees. As Gabriel Venne, professor of anatomy at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, notes:2

"The first anatomists wanted to understand the organ more as a system or system based. But they forgot the holistic view of the human anatomy. So instead of isolating organs, now we really understand the importance of the interrelation between organs. Which is mostly done via fascia."

This fascia-centric view is prompting a paradigm shift in how we conceptualize the body. Rather than seeing it as a collection of separate parts, we're beginning to appreciate it as an interconnected whole, with fascia serving as the unifying matrix. Recent research is revealing just how complex and important fascia truly is. Some key findings highlighted in the documentary include:

Fascia contains six times more nerve endings than muscles, making it a key player in pain perception and body awareness.
It's filled with specialized cells called fasciacytes that produce hyaluronic acid — a critical lubricant that allows your tissues to glide smoothly.
Fascia plays a vital role in immune function and fluid dynamics throughout your body.
It's highly responsive to hormones, particularly estrogen in women. This may explain many gender-specific health issues.
Fascia forms continuous lines of tension and connection throughout your body, linking seemingly unrelated areas.
These discoveries are opening up new avenues for understanding and treating a wide range of health issues, from chronic pain to immune disorders.

    The Fascia-Pain Connection
One of the most exciting implications of fascia research is its potential to revolutionize pain management. The documentary presents several compelling examples:

•Frozen shoulder breakthrough — A pilot study on treating frozen shoulder (a notoriously difficult condition) with fascia-focused therapy showed remarkable results.3 As noted in the film:4

"41% of the patients had full mobility after three treatments and 76% of the patients could move their arm 45 degrees more than before the treatment. In addition to that, 71% reported that their quality of sleep had improved, an unanticipated positive side effect."

This is a dramatic improvement over conventional treatments, which often take months or even years to achieve similar results.

•Understanding referred pain — The interconnected nature of fascia helps explain why pain in one area of the body can originate from a completely different region. Venne explains:5

"One segment of your body is affected due to a trauma or anything, so it's easy now to envision that this tension can be actually migrating into your fascial network, and will basically lead to secondary symptoms that will be described as painful in other regions that the patients will be consulting for. Which are far from the initial problem."

This insight is prompting clinicians to take a more holistic approach to pain treatment, looking beyond just the site of symptoms.

•Fascia and movement — The documentary also highlights the critical role fascia plays in how you move. It forms a continuous network that transmits force and information throughout your body. This has important implications for athletes, dancers and anyone interested in optimizing their physical performance.

One fascinating example comes from the world of equestrian sports. Therapists using fascia-focused treatments on horses have observed measurable improvements in speed and jumping ability.

According to Ivar Bohlin, with Fascia Clinics, "We noticed early on that if the rider is crooked then the horse becomes crooked. That connection between man and horse feels obvious to us."6 This underscores how fascia creates a dynamic, interconnected system that affects overall function and performance.

Five Factors That Influence Fascia Health
Given the pervasive nature of fascia and its many critical functions, maintaining its health is clearly important for overall well-being. The documentary highlights several factors that influence fascia health:

1.Movement — Regular, varied movement is crucial for keeping fascia hydrated and flexible. Sedentary lifestyles lead to fascia becoming stiff and "glued" together.

2.Hydration — Proper hydration is essential for maintaining the optimal consistency of fascia.

3.Stress — Chronic stress causes fascia to tighten and lose elasticity.

4.Diet — Certain nutrients play a role in fascia health, though more research is needed in this area.

5.Sleep — Quality sleep is important for fascia recovery and regeneration.

The emerging understanding of fascia is also inspiring new therapeutic approaches, including the following promising techniques:

•Deep wave therapy — This involves using specialized machines that create gentle vibrations to restore fascia elasticity and improve fluid flow.

•Manual fascia release — Skilled practitioners use hands-on techniques to release fascial restrictions and improve overall body function.

•Movement therapies — Practices like yoga and certain forms of dance are being recognized for their ability to promote fascia health through varied, three-dimensional movement patterns.

•Holistic assessment — Practitioners are learning to assess the body as an interconnected whole, rather than focusing solely on the site of symptoms.

    The Future of Fascia Research

While our understanding of fascia has grown tremendously in recent years, it's clear that we're only scratching the surface. As Dr. Carla Stecco, an orthopedic surgeon and professor of human anatomy and movement sciences at the University of Padova, notes:7

"The best will be to understand all the elements that can affect the fascia, and to prevent the alteration of fascia. Because I really think that if we are able to understand all the elements, we can avoid the aging. We can avoid the degeneration of the joints. We can avoid many different pathologies in the organ, in the muscle, in the joints."

In short, fascia research may transform the health care system’s approach to health and aging. Some promising areas for future study include:
The role of fascia in chronic diseases and autoimmune disorders
How fascia interacts with other body systems, like your nervous system and endocrine system
The potential for fascia-focused therapies to treat a wide range of health issues
The impact of lifestyle factors (diet, exercise, stress) on fascia health
The development of new diagnostic tools to assess fascia function
Further, fascia research can bridge the gap between Eastern and Western medical traditions. According to Fan Xiulan, professor of medical Qigong:8

"It's a modern and scientific way to understand what's been talked about in Chinese medicine for millennia in terms of what we call meridians and points that send signals about the effects of healing around the body."

This convergence of ancient wisdom and modern science could lead to more integrated, holistic approaches to health and healing. The emerging research on fascia aligns with many principles I've observed in my practice and research:

The body is an interconnected whole, not just a collection of separate parts.
Many health issues have root causes that aren't immediately obvious and require a broader perspective to understand and treat.
Movement and lifestyle factors play a crucial role in maintaining health and preventing disease.
Your body has remarkable self-healing capacities when given the right conditions.
The fascia-centric view of your body provides a scientific framework for understanding these principles and developing more effective therapeutic approaches.

Practical Implications for Improving Fascia Health
While fascia research is still in its early stages, there are some practical takeaways you can apply to improve your fascia health:

Prioritize movement — Regular, varied movement is crucial for fascia health. This doesn't necessarily mean intense exercise — gentle activities like walking, stretching and tai chi are beneficial.

Stay hydrated — Proper hydration is essential for maintaining healthy fascia. Aim to drink plenty of clean water throughout the day.

Manage stress — Chronic stress negatively impacts fascia. Incorporate stress-reduction techniques like meditation, deep breathing or time in nature into your daily routine.

Explore manual therapies — Techniques like massage, myofascial release or osteopathic manipulation help maintain fascia health and address restrictions.

Consider your posture — Poor posture creates fascial restrictions over time. Be mindful of your posture throughout the day, especially if you spend a lot of time sitting.

Eat a nutrient-dense diet — A diet rich in anti-inflammatory foods and essential nutrients supports fascia health.

Prioritize sleep — Quality sleep is important for fascia recovery.

The emerging understanding of fascia represents a new frontier in health and medicine. Per Johansson, a doctor of human ecology, says, "I can see how this will lead to new forms of health care, new lines of research, new perspectives as to what mankind is. New institutions. Yes … a very different view of human beings."9

Indeed, the fascia-centric view of the body has the potential to revolutionize how we approach health, healing and human performance. It provides a scientific basis for many holistic health principles and opens up exciting new avenues for research and treatment.

As we continue to unravel the mysteries of fascia, more effective, personalized approaches to health that treat the body as the interconnected whole it truly is can emerge. This shift in perspective is important to addressing many of the chronic health challenges we face today. By appreciating the intricate web that connects every part of our body, we can unlock new pathways to health, vitality and longevity."

Although I have not watched the video, I'd like to mention Rolfing in case it was not discussed. "The idea behind Rolfing is that there are purported health benefits to be gained by manipulating our fascia." "Rolfing, also called Rolfing® Structural Integration, is a form of bodywork that was created by biochemist Ida P. Rolf, PhD, in the 1940s. It was especially popular in the 1970s among people seeking alternatives to traditional medicine. " https://health.clevelandclinic.org/r...ssage-benefits

I have tried it a few times. It is painful, but does indeed cause a release both physically and emotionally.
Happiness comes from within, nowhere else.

I used to get Rolfed regularly years ago when I was being very active and I don't think I could have been so active had it not been for the Rolfing.
It was painful, but a good kind of pain that left me feeling very energized and relaxed.

I recommend the Seraphim Healing course from a system called Seraphim Blueprint. I healed my own arthritic hands 25 years ago using the techniques that a Seraph provided in this course.

The most powerful human healer on this planet that I know of is Charlie Goldsmith, an Australian, currently living in California. You can follow him on Facebook where he has sometimes free hour-long healing sessions, and sometimes by donation hour-long healing sessions via Zoom for several thousand people at one time. He takes us into a deep healing meditation that many report the benefits of.

I met him in person two years ago at a 3-day conference he held in North Carolina, and I was extremely impressed by his abilities.
