I can't speak to whether Trump understands crypto or not. A few years ago he himself was saying things similar to what the podcaster was saying. But very smart people in Trump's orbit got in his ear, including his son, Don Jr., and convinced him of the significance of the blockchain and the revolution afoot. This seems to be the trend. People don't seem to understand crypto, until they do. And remember, virtually everybody (who didn't understand it) was saying BTC was a ponzi scheme back in 2013 when it was priced at $75 per coin. One would think the "tulip mania" would have crashed by now, twelve years later, if Bitcoin was truly a ponzi scheme. Also, I'm not speaking about the "meme" coins and those who buy and sell them. One can think of meme/alt coins as "penny stocks." Buying penny stocks may make you rich--if you're a visionary or lucky or both--or it may wipe you out and take the shirt off your back. That's called gambling. But that fact doesn't make investments in stocks (to employ the analogy here) a ponzi scheme.

To each at their own pace of grasping what crypto is, including Wall Street, which is now securitizing cryptocurrency and as a legitimate investment. Next in line will be governments and their Treasuries, which the Trump administration recently announced. So yes, I stand by my statements. The podcaster simply doesn't understand crypto.

You are entitled to be angry and upset about Gaza, but that's an entirely different issue from what I was commenting on.

Rizotto, the video was created as satire, by anti-Trump content creators. It was produced, at best, as a joke, or perhaps with a twinge of backhandedness to outrage (but certainly not to promote). I agree it was in bad taste to repost this on Truth Social, but IMO, those outraged by the repost are taking the bait, hook/line/sinker. They're taking the video way too seriously (and don't truly get the joke).

Simply, this video is not a serious vision or proposal.
