Why this flight raises alarms:
1. Aircraft type: WC‑135R “Constant Phoenix”
This is not a standard reconnaissance or refueling plane.
It is a special-purpose aircraft designed specifically to detect airborne nuclear debris—not used for normal surveillance or training flights unless explicitly scheduled.
2. Flight pattern: The aircraft appears to have taken off from Offutt AFB (Omaha), home to U.S. Strategic Command, and began an unusual curved pattern over the Midwest.
These kinds of low-altitude loops often suggest sampling operations, not transit or routine flight paths.
3. Timing. This flight comes amid:
Ongoing Iranian–Israeli missile exchanges
Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear infrastructure (e.g., Fordow)
