• Iran has enriched uranium to 60% (they discuss this at the 10:50 mark)
• Iran has approximately 400 kg of enriched uranium
• Iran has enough enriched uranium to make approximately 10 nuclear bombs
• Iran has doubled the amount of enriched uranium since Trump was inaugurated in 2025
• IAEA stated that they have never seen that amount of stockpiled (400kg) enriched uranium by any country that did not already have a nuclear weapon.
• Point of reference, uranium only needs to be enriched 3-5% for nuclear power plants.

Iran's nuclear activities expanded significantly in the late 1980s. Over the years, concerns grew internationally about whether Iran was seeking to develop nuclear weapons, leading to various negotiations, agreements, and sanctions. Iran spent more than a decade assembling the material (reflector material, explosive lenses, centrifuges, detonation mechanisms, etc) to make a nuclear weapon. Then they spent several decades playing cat and mouse with the world as they upped the ante on uranium enrichment. Now we have arrived at a juncture where they have all the material, and they have enriched enough uranium to be just below weapons grade, which would produce 10 nuclear bombs.

Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has historically made statements supporting the idea of Israel’s eventual destruction, and he has gone so far as to install a clock located in Tehran’s Palestine Square, symbolising Iran’s long-standing stance against the existence of the Israeli state. The countdown clock was set to mark the year 2040, which is when Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei predicts there will no longer be a State of Israel.

So the only question left without discussing right or wrong and assessing blame is should Iran have a nuclear weapon?

Of course -- it's not a real country -- just "Israel of the east".

It's allowed fake western-backed jihadi training camps go on forever, to which, the recent problem with India bears witness. They did say it should be "under Islamic rule" again. In turn, these jihadis cause problems with Iran and are always trying to blow something up over there.


But then it has a massive separatist faction the Balochistan Liberation Army, which we paid little attention to, since it took over Quetta.

It's strategically important for as long as China sees its interests in benefitting from a quick land route to west Asia. Otherwise, it's not. It's more interesting because it still has undeveloped villages that barely have roads going to them. It's a great location, but, that's got to be a complex situation. The main thing is most of them were already living there when suddenly they were "given" a partition, which is more or less designed to keep the worst ratio of Hindus and Muslims on either side, so there will always be oppression of a minority leading to insurrection. Same idea as no Kurdistan or Sikhistan.

In terms of a powder keg it makes Ukraine look like tiddlywinks.

I would not be the least surprised if American hegemony slips towards Pak and Bangladesh.

It's always a question of who is willing to "sell out" (ruin or destroy) their own territory for personal gain.

I, at least, would prefer to see a de-tensioned Pakistan as it sits right between three powers (China, Iran, India). I have no idea what that takes.

They publicly stated they have enough radioactive material to do it.

If they want to, the fissile trigger and weaponizing mechanism is a small matter that can be achieved in a short time, and, if that's what they want to do, they will do it.

If not, they won't.


In terms of the strategy of the Iranian nation -- to remove Zionism -- it's unnecessary. So, I don't have a lot of questions. If that was what he was going to do, he already could have. Something that might happen does not constitute a trespass or sin. That makes it a non-issue compared to actual violations that have happened. Death doesn't care. Would I necromantically summon a victim from Gaza, and say, aren't you glad that wasn't a nuclear weapon?

I guess my reaction isn't one -- having seen the whole thing as smoke and mirrors for political pressure all along, viz., Mr. Grossi in an apparent conflict of interest.
