I am going to have to read up on Summer Lee and Al Green - hats off to them whoever they are.

And for all her hot air and sanctimoniousness about Israel, Ocasio-Cortez voted to continue funding genocide.

The right reasonable Mr. Green (D-Texas) is the forefront of Impeach Trump.

This has its origins since at least 2017 and is still perfectly valid.

The D-bag stuff from the previous page is such childish filth, no one with an actual mind would pay attention to it.

    Text:
Colombian President Petro Vows to Withdraw from NATO, Calls for ‘Army of Light’ to Replace Western Military Alliances

Colombian President Gustavo Petro has delivered a seismic announcement, declaring his intention to pull Colombia out of its global partnership with NATO. This marks an unprecedented move by a Colombian leader, signaling a potential rupture with one of the most powerful military blocs in the world.

Addressing an emergency conference on Gaza in Bogotá, Petro challenged Colombia’s moral standing, questioning why his nation should remain tied to what he called forces responsible for the slaughter of innocents. He said, “How can we stand with armies that drop bombs on children?”

Petro’s words grew even sharper. He branded NATO forces as armies of darkness and armies of evil. For him, this isn’t just foreign policy—it’s a fight for moral clarity. “They are not armies of freedom. They are armies of darkness. We must leave NATO. There is no other way.”

But Petro didn’t stop there. He called for an entirely new global security vision—a coalition he dramatically named an army of light, uniting nations committed to peace and human dignity.

“We must have armies of light and unite our armies and think things through. Israeli weapons can no longer reach us here, and they are arriving, and this government’s defense minister must answer for that.”

He also aimed his criticism squarely at Europe and the United States, accusing them of backing what he called neo-Nazi elements in today’s conflicts.

Colombia became NATO’s only Latin American partner in 2018 and later secured U.S. recognition as a major non-NATO ally. Petro’s declaration now tears at the fabric of those alliances, setting the stage for a historic geopolitical shift.

If Petro follows through, Colombia won’t just be walking away from NATO—it could be redefining the balance of power in the global South, a move that challenges decades of Western dominance and signals the birth of a new world order.

ejércitos de la luz — what a clear and courageous statement!

This is what strength – physical, moral and mental – of men has been created for. The idea of chivalry. To rescue lives instead of destroying them.

New armies of conscripts — but for love, light. It is not too heavy a task for youth — of age, nor of youthfulness of experience.

I'd like to see how this works.

Partnership in NATO is normally a twenty-year commitment, after which the parliament can stage a withdrawal. So, for example, France could dump it like yesterday's diapers.

So the idea might amount to breaking a treaty, which is risky, since that can be a casus belli, or, i. e. give the U. S. a green light to blow Bogota to smithereens.

I didn't know they had gotten involved. In itself, this is far less pivotal than anything I had hoped would come out of the meeting. It's more of a timeless truth that should have been applied in the 1950s, instead of giving birth to this international war machine. Or, rather, it is the Nazi victory, seeing as how that party never surrendered, it just moved its policies into the EU and US and that is basically what we have been running on.

By extension, it has certainly agitated Colombia by its meaningless "war on drugs", and there are no U. S. plans for South America that are exactly nice. Three days ago I actually saw someone going around in a "Gulf of America" hat. I'm sick of slogans. Everywhere are only pieces of sentences with some unrealistic childish giddiness as the only substance. It's like watching little kids establish the Fourth Reich.

Hamas’ Abu Obaida TORCHES Muslim Nations, Warns Israel On Hostages | Watch FULL SPEECH In English

The spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obaida, spoke on Friday in a televised address for the first time since March 6. In a powerful statement, he accused Israel of violating past ceasefire agreements and warned of escalated resistance operations. He also issued a scathing condemnation of Arab and Islamic leadership for their silence. Abu Obaida's message is clear: Resistance will not stop — and Gaza remains defiant under siege.

    ======

“The Last Doctor Standing” follows the extraordinary resilience of Dr. Abu Safiya and his medical team, who endured over 16 months of relentless pressure, including repeated Israeli military attempts to evacuate and destroy the hospital.

Dr. Abu Safiya’s defiance was instrumental in enabling over 450,000 Palestinians to remain in northern Gaza and resist forced displacement. During this period, he lost most of his medical team. His son Ibrahim was killed, his other son Idris was shot, and his family home was completely demolished.

Despite holding foreign citizenship that would have allowed him safe passage out of Gaza, he refused to leave, choosing instead to stand by his people. He was eventually detained by Israeli forces, and his whereabouts remain unknown. The hospital was later set on fire and put out of service.

This 45-minute documentary captures a rare story of courage and moral clarity — the story of a doctor who stood firm in the face of war, fulfilling his duty with unwavering commitment until the very end. His legacy now stands as a symbol of human dignity and resistance.

    • Dave Smith ENDS ZIONISM at Turning Point USA Conference!:

At a Turning Point USA event, libertarian Dave Smith got big applause from the conservative audience by declaring that Israel is not an ally of the United States, arguing that the Jewish state manipulates U.S. policy toward unnecessary conflict and exploits American support. His critique — echoed by figures like Tucker Carlson — marks a noticeable shift among younger conservatives, who are increasingly rejecting traditional pro-Israel positions held by influencers like Ben Shapiro and Charlie Kirk.

Jimmy Dore and Kurt Metzger talk about how Zionism has morphed into a censorious, authoritarian ideology, replacing the very "woke" tactics conservatives once criticized. They conclude by suggesting that recent events, including the October 7 attacks and Israel's response, have permanently altered public perception and fractured bipartisan support for Israel in the U.S.

Very touching talk... anyone know Jewish actor Many Patinkin? I always admired him in the movies... here is only a few minutes long video.. good one!!!

Speaking to the New York Times, Jewish actors Mandy Patinkin and Kathryn Grody heavily criticised Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his policies in Gaza.

The pair spoke out against the conflation of criticism of Israel's government with antisemitism and said Netanyahu's actions were "endangering Jewish people" around the world.

Patinkin implored Jewish people to question "how it could be done to you and your ancestors, and you turn around and do it to someone else?"

This is true in a fairly raw way but has further aspects.

I have been forced to discover there really are human beings who are prone to an "easy way to hate" other human beings.

In this case, if the country, Israel, is seen as a "monster", then someone is going to re-think that into "all Jews" and follow suit. And so it will provoke so-called "antisemitism" that supposedly they seek to prevent, but then perhaps there will be backlashes and clampdowns, who knows. In any case, at a shallow level, yes, of course, in reality it may bring a sad fate to some.

Further, criticism of the government would imply something other than the policies of that government. Israel has a "different kind" of government that I haven't particularly studied, it has a president and a prime minister and probably works several ways differently than what I am used to. I'm not sure that even I am questioning the existence of Israeli government, I oppose the policies as seen in Irgun, Nakba, etc., until it becomes national policy with Likud and their cohorts. But this would not have been legal under the original Israeli government, and it is definitely a policy change that has created this theater of the macabre.

Obviously it exists, not because it came from the government, but because it came from the people. All of then? Armchair statistics tell us it takes about a 15% minority to attain momentum for right-wing extremism. At that point (i. e., Likud wins some elections), it can attract followers more easily and of course drag in unwilling accomplices.

Such a gang doesn't care if you criticize it. Talk about it all you want. You can't do anything. Doesn't matter.

The ploy that you are not supposed to talk like that is more or less a way to weasel money out of someone's pity party.

Nevertheless, I would agree there is an "antisemitic" Jewish problem that originates in European law, and so, originally, some proto-Zionists were Idealists, in the sense of believing these people could go down there and re-learn farming, after being sequestered into five or six allowed professions in most Catholic domains. In that sense, I can understand a very small, minor Zionism more synonymous with a de-militarized agglomeration of communes, than what has come out of it.

In today's twist, Turkish air force bombs SDF Aleppo.

This faction is nominally a Zio-American backed opponent of the Ba'ath regime, now, supposedly more "normalized" with HTS, a supposed Turkish partner.

That doesn't sound like a way to stop Israel that came out of the meeting.

I haven't heard anything, yet, and why are bombs falling in the wrong place.

    WFP Statement | #Gaza

On the morning of 20 July, a 25 truck WFP convoy carrying vital food assistance crossed the Zikim border point destined for starving communities in northern Gaza.

Shortly after passing the final checkpoint beyond the Zikim crossing point into Gaza, the convoy encountered large crowds of civilians anxiously waiting to access desperately needed food supplies.

As the convoy approached, the surrounding crowd came under fire from Israeli tanks, snipers and other gunfire.

We are deeply concerned and saddened by this tragic incident resulting in the loss of countless lives. Many more suffered life-threatening injuries. These people were simply trying to access food to feed themselves and their families on the brink of starvation. This terrible incident underscores the increasingly dangerous conditions under which humanitarian operations are forced to be conducted in Gaza.

Today’s violent incident comes despite assurances from Israeli authorities that humanitarian operational conditions would improve; including that armed forces will not be present nor engage at any stage along humanitarian convoy routes.

There should never, ever, be armed groups near or on our aid convoys, as reiterated on many occasions to all parties to the conflict. Shootings near humanitarian missions, convoys and food distributions must stop immediately. Any violence involving civilians seeking humanitarian aid is completely unacceptable.

We stand firmly by our principles of operating with independence, impartiality and neutrality. It is one of the many reasons why communities trust us.

The World Food Programme continues to call for the protection of all civilians and aid workers delivering life-saving assistance. WFP teams accompanying convoys should not have to risk their own lives in the effort to save others. Without these fundamental conditions in place, we cannot continue providing life-saving support across the Gaza strip.

Gaza’s hunger crisis has reached new levels of desperation. People are dying from lack of humanitarian assistance. Malnutrition is surging with 90,000 women and children in urgent need of treatment. Nearly one person in three is not eating for days. Food aid is the only way for most people to access any food – as the cost of a one-kilogram bag of flour has surged to over USD100 in local markets.

Only a massive scale-up in food aid distributions can stabilize this spiraling situation, calm anxieties and rebuild the trust within communities that more food is coming.

An agreed ceasefire is long overdue. All hostages should be released, and humanitarians should be able to reach the civilian population in Gaza with critical food supplies in a consistent, predictable, orderly and safe manner -- wherever they are across the Gaza Strip.

WFP is ready. We have food supplies nearby, experienced teams on the ground, and proven systems in place to respond at scale. We did it before and we can do it again.

We urgently call on the international community and all parties to advocate for, and facilitate, the delivery of life-saving food aid to starving populations inside Gaza – safely, securely, wherever families are, and without obstruction.
